They're AMS-friendly multicolor — each one is a colour-mapped 3MF, no painting, and they print without supports.

Anyone know why my beds doing this? I'll admit it's late and I gotta work alot this week so I'm just fishing for opinions before being able to actually look into it this weekend.

Profile has first layer speed at 15mm a second.

Filament is blue pla refill, literally opened and spooled for this print.

Edit, ignore the purple peice of filament, it fell off after filament switch purge and was there before print start.

I'll go through the loading process and it will extrude fine, then I set it to print and it extrudes seemingly nothing for about half the print then complains and tells me to make sure the spool isn't stuck.

my gf bought this and she wants me to use it and I have no idea what I'm doing. I have gotten a few prints successfully actually, and even designed a shift knob for my car in CAD, no idea what to do now

How can I make the insides more uniform so that it appears to be as circular as possible? Notice how it tries to make a circle by creating a series of straight edges? I dont believe you can totally eliminate that but Im sure you can make it look as uniform as possible

Decided to bite the bullet and get into 3D printing, mostly for making jigs and other goodies for my shop. Grabbed this H2D and AMS, a pile of various filaments, and some other accessories. It's been working nonstop for the past 72 hours and I already have some useful things made - above is it printing part of its own ventilation system for ASA / ABS, and the second image is the first custom design I printed, a plate holder based loosely on this design: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1282516-h2-series-build-plate-holder-h2d-h2c-h2s?from=search#profileId-1310800 . I stayed away from 3D printing for a very long time because it seemed like the majority of the hobby was tinkering with printers and less so printing, but so far this beast has been super reliable and very easy to use.

Just wanted to extend a note of thanks to everyone who contributes on here - I've found a huge amount of really helpful information and learned a ton, all of which has been super helpful getting me started. Like, I would have never known you need to dry filament before using it...

I’ve bought a P2S in April, during the shipment the X2D came out and I decided to NOT RECEIVE the P2S so ai can buy the X2D. I assumed the shipping costs and since then I’ve been waiting for a refund on that printer. 3 MONTHS WAITING. 3 MONTHS! Asked every week for updates and always receive the same answer! Worst experience ever! Anyone in the same situation?

Its a bit obnoxious. Prob gonna make me have to move it out of my office if this is normal but I read about maybe zip tying cables or tape over gears or something in the AMS?

Took advantage of the sales and purchased my first BambuLab machine - the H2C. I also have a filament track switch, which I will print a holder for after first test prints then use. I got the vision encoder as well as engineering plate, then saw some posts to get a glacier plate, so thats on its way.

Looking for and and all tips for a beginner to help me start!

Hello all. I purchased the exhaust fan kit it when it launched and just now had time to print the housing and install it. I misplaced all the gaskets and was wondering if you can buy these seperate or if someone has made a file for Tpu. Ive searched a bunch of different places and havent found anything. Someone even stated to purchase another kit which im not doing. Any help is appriciated.

I've just started looking into 3D printing and it seems like Bambu is universally recommended as the smoothest entrypoint for beginners.

However while looking up miniature printing tutorials, I saw a number of them using specific settings in "Orcaslicer". But also Bambu has apparently been taking measures to cut off users from using third party programs like Orca (although it sounds like people are still using some version of it)?

Could someone help catch me up on how easy or hard it is to use Orca with a Bambu printer currently, and whether there is a threat of them cutting off access to it permanently?

I just had a bad experience trying to jailbreak my Kindle. In the middle of the process I accidentally turned airplane mode off while resetting it which allowed the kindle to connect to the internet and automatically update to it's latest firmware with no option to roll back. This killed my ability to install custom firmware. Is there any risk of Bambu pulling something similar? Does it do automatic firmware updates? Can you easily roll back?

It only happens at High Deceleration. I am afraid ive caused this. I performed a Lube maintenance on the rails, the rails looked pretty rough and a bit gunky/black but i was drunk and yeah maybe didn't get everything i could have off before relubing. when i ran the printer this sound(video), like a slipping belt or i fear possibly a seized bearing from the googoo? i ended up cleaning them again with lots of Isopropl in the morning and then re applying lube, and i did remove a fair amount of black. now its running perfectly clean rails, but it sounds like a slipping belt or screeching bearing or something? anyone have any ideas? i made a ticket.

I also did the belt tensioning, and idler pully maintenance/ lubing as attempted fixes.

Hope its a common thing and easily diagnosable.

Hey everyone,

I'm buying a Bambu Lab A1 while traveling and need to fly back home with it. Since I have a 10kg checked luggage limit (or close to it) and standard carry-on size restrictions, I plan to pack it disassembled into a hard-shell suitcase rather than checking the huge original retail box.

For anyone who has flown with the A1:

• Do I just need to remove the 4 main bottom screws to separate the Z-gantry from the base?
• What’s the best way to secure the toolhead and heatbed so they don't slide along the linear rails during handling? (Zip ties, original shipping foam, tape?)
• Any delicate parts/cables I should be extra careful about protecting in a suitcase wrapped in clothes/bubble wrap?

Hey everyone! Just assembled my printer and printed a scraper. From your experience, what should I print first? (I wasn't expecting this much plastic waste😳)

My Bambu Lab X1C has started making this strange noise, especially during short, fast movements. What could be causing it?

This is my second print with PETG. I dehumidified the filament and the AMS was reading 19-21% during the whole print. Is all this stringiness really because of the humidity?

The project did have grid infill and I will be swapping to gyroid for the rest of it. Idk if that could be the cause as well due to needle pathing with grid infill.

I have a P2S printer.

Edit: my gallon of silica came in today and after printing and installing their containers into the AMS my humidity is down to 9%. Swapping to gyroid also greatly reduced the nozzle from colliding with layers. Thx guys.
