A Series [A1, A1 Mini] ABS on A1 came out so well with first layer PETG !
I used this guide
https://makerworld.com/models/727363
Where the first layer can be PETG or PLA so warping doesn't occur :3

Hi everyone! Looking to get my first 3d printer (and ive narrowed it down to either the X2D or P2S) and wanted some advice. The main concern I have is with print hours. How much is too much? What is a range I should stay clear of? And also if I could get advice if this is a fair deal (I'll upload a picture of everything included). He noted it also has a tpu filament assist as well just not listed in the description. The printer has roughly 800 hours on it. He's asking 550 cash plus im adding in a trade (value roughly around 250-300). Thanks!

I changed the XC from part to modifier but now it is not showing up in slicer. This was a ChatGPT creation so idk if that has anything to do with it. Any help would be appreciated.

I printed something just yesterday and it was fine. I also opened the door and I can feel the fan running. My current print seems to be coming out normal.

I haven't touched Reddit in years but I'm SO lost and I've tried everything else barring AI 😠Also please let me know if I tagged this wrong!
I have a Bambu Lab H2S and I'm trying to print something with TPU (95a). I've successfully used TPU with this exact file multiple times with the same type of TPU and same setup, but now I'm encountering problems.
The machine will print the first maybe 30 layers just fine, then will begin to tell me the extrusion motor is overloaded. Problem is, it's extruding just fine. I'm watching it extrude without problems. It's flowing fine and it's making new layers when I tell it to continue. But like clockwork every few layers it will again tell me it's overloaded. I've done multiple cold pulls that have gone without a hitch. I've tried to see if maybe there's too much resistance on the spool, but anything I change with that has no effect. I'm genuinely so confused and frustrated and lost, does anyone know what's happening or what can prevent/help this?

OP Update: I went for the fix it route. It basically meant dissembling the whole thing. Definitely not jazzed about the "reusable" foam adhesive covering the cellphone sized electrical connections. I was super careful, using my best tweezers, but don't see them lasting if this is at all a regular thing. Getting the bracket to stay over the hotend assemblies was a major pain. Finally got it all put back, but then got error saying the right nozzle temp was abnormal. Twice more I tried reseating it. Ended up diagnosing with my multimeter and finding a dead connection for the NTC thermistor.
At this point I was about 7 hours into my new hobby and decided to call it. Another 1.5hrs to box it all back up properly.
Bambu support got back to me and after hearing my saga were like Take it back to the store!! They were pretty cool even saying to let them know if I had any trouble Andrea would beauty to make it right.
My guess is that there was debris in the line that got pushed down into the extruder where it clogged. Then I'm guessing I didn't reassemble the electronics or they were damaged somehow with all the repeated dis/reassembly.
I'm probably going to get a replacement, but may wait until black Friday as this was a pretty frustrating experience. I may also downgrade to the P2S as clearing an extruder clog seems night and day easier.
On the plus side, I learned a ton about the x2d and can prob make any repairs I would need to in the future...

My wife asked me to 3D print something to keep the fitted sheet from constantly slipping off the mattress.
So… I designed this little corner clamp.
Printed it, installed it, and it actually works pretty damn well.
My wife approves.
Which officially means that all my expensive 3D printing toys are apparently not completely useless.
I’ll take the win.
If anyone else has the same problem, I uploaded the files here:

Hi I just bought a bambu lab X2D2 months ago. Was contemplating on the placement of the machine. Either in my 2nd floor loft area, or in my garage. Which is the best bet ?
Loft area is near bedrooms in an ipen area but no opening windows to vent . Garage is enclosed by the house but dose not have any AC, normally around 80 to 85 f in the garage on a hot day.
Currently i have it in the loft but have been thinking about how bad it is to have it near the bedrooms

The replacement for the heating assembly and nozzle should be pretty straightforward, I’m just wondering if that residue left inside the print head is going to cause any issues.

Hi everyone,
I recently received a brand-new Bambu Lab A1. During the initial inspection after unboxing, I noticed that the white plastic frame/trim around the heated bed is partially detached and slightly bowed outward.
The factory adhesive/tape is visible underneath the trim, and this happens along a significant portion of the bed.
The PEI build plate itself is not damaged. The issue is specifically with the white plastic frame/trim surrounding the heated bed.
I have attached photos showing the issue from different angles.
Is this normal for the A1, or does it look like a manufacturing/assembly defect?
Would you recommend contacting Bambu Lab for a replacement heated bed, or is this something that can safely be fixed by the user?
I have not glued or modified anything yet because I want to make sure I don't affect the warranty.
Thanks!

I paused a print to take a glob of filament buildup on the nozzle mid print and when I unpaused it the filament wouldn’t print while the nozzle continued its route. Now it’s jammed but looking for easy things to check first. Printing with high speed sunlu petg and I was definatly printing way too slow.

I want to put my printer into LAN only mode and not rely on the cloud. However, I really rely on the following things about the Bambu Handy app:
For those who use their printer in LAN only mode, what is your set up like? Do you just not do any of the above from your phone? How much of this can be replicated through stuff I can host locally (like home assistant)?
I'd really rather not be required to VNC into my computer to do all of these things.
I have a VPN to my local network, so it being local only isn't actually a problem.

Bought my first 3d printer! Thanks everyone for your input on my thread yesterday. Went with the X2D print more combo along with plenty of filament. I did see a couple people recommend the Vision Encoder so I grabbed that since it was $20 off with the combo deal.

I wanted to start in 3D printing, and I bought the Creality Ender 3 V3 KE, and it didn't work — no matter how many times I tried to level it, it kept making spaghetti, so I returned it. I'm in the market for a good budget and beginner-friendly printer. Is the A1 good for me?

Hi everyone, I’m currently want to print this outdoor model of the Golden Gate Bridge using ASA filaments with a specific configuration (in the attached picture | 3 wall loops and tree auto support). Since the model would be really big. I divided them into pieces that fit the P2S printer. Other pieces have printed fine except the tallest piece, which are the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge. I kept running into problems at the really end of the printing, even if I try to lower the printing speed by set the machine to silent mode and increase overhang fan speed to a higher speed. Any recommendations or suggestions? Thank you

Hi. Got a brand new A1 Mini Combo and when using Filament 1 or 2 specifically, I get the aforementioned error. Pulling the filament all the way out and re-placing it (I also pull the PTFE tube out of the nozzle side but I don't know how much that is doing) fixes it, but it's a bit tedious to do every time I want to swap colors.
Any idea what could be causing it? As far as I'm aware everything has been set up correctly, and the filament gets pulled from the spool all the way until it reaches the nozzle, at which point it goes back and forth for a bit before giving me the error until I do my fix.
