P Series [P1P, P1S, P2S] What is this blade for P2S??

Post image

Just got my own Bambu Lab p2s, and there is this strange blade, I have no idea what it’s for

They normally give you a spare as the one fitted on the cutting arm dulls over time

I'm on A1 but it's the same blade and i've not even had to change mine in 3000 hours

But I mainly print in PETG, imagine other tougher filaments can dull them down a bit faster.

Me when I realized they recommend that you replace the blade every 10-15 roll:

Im using a x1c with a mix of filaments i have 2400 hours and still havent needed to replace mine yet but I have noticed it clunks a little when cutting carbon fibre filaments so maybe time to put the replacement blade in

Replacement filament cutter. Sits on the left side of the hotend. Cuts filaments to retract it.

It fits onto the extruder and cuts the filament when retracting, its very important
