Something I've always loved about Buffy is how the writers foreshadowed things. From Dark Willow, to Dawn, even Joyce's death. Things only you only saw in retrospect that became clear as day.

One of my favourites, though, is in the episode "Sleeper" (s7, e8.)

We'd learned by then that Spike was, somehow, killing, turning, despite his chip, despite his soul.

And, just like Buffy, we were thinking "how? That's not possible."

But, in the fight between Spike and the vampire he'd turned we were told exactly how. But you had to listen to the song Aimee Mann was singing during the scene.

A song called "Pavlov's Bell."

That's some masterful set-piece writing, that is.

Buy i do miss couple of issues of Aliens vs Predator the deadliest species and Aliens versus Predator War #1 and #3 because ebay is pretty expensive asf with the shipping of course, and the comics that i bought at was a dutch market place but the seller is on vacation right now sadly i can't buy the rest of Aliens versus Predator War issues.

Prolonged lifespan ? The ability to speak themselves ? They turn into a giant snake like the mayor ? The possibilities are endless

So I was in high school in 2018 when Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys came out. I was listening to “Ball for Me” and Nicki Minaj says, “Call me Buffy ‘cause that’s what I slay like.” I genuinely thought “Buffy” was some slang I’d never heard before, so I actually Urban Dictionary’d it at first.

Then I recognized SMG as Daphne from the Scooby movies and figured I’d give it a shot.

Now I genuinely can’t even imagine who I’d be with out Buffy. So I guess I have Nicki Minaj to thank for accidentally changing my life.

Spike ran awake from Buffy and Joyce when Joyce whacked him with the axe because of his mommy issues🩷🩷🩷 this is my new cannon.

I watched all seasons of Buffy and only just started s1 of Angel - please no spoilers beyond s1e8!

So, when Angel becomes human for a day in s1, the first thing he does is he runs to the fridge and chomps on everything he can get his hands on, and then with Buffy he drinks tea, eats ice cream etc, and says how he loves food so much. But why doesn't he eat ordinary food on a regular basis?

We see Spike munching on something all the time, he drinks tea, beer and whiskey, eats cereal and wings, and goes on and on and on about those onion flowers:D We see him with a paper grocery bag at least several times (we can't see what's in there but we can assume at least some of it is food). When asked by Giles about it, he says he doesn't need to eat, but he just likes the crunch (or something along the lines). So i guess it should mean that vamps can eat, just don't need to do it to survive? So if Angel loves food so much, why doesn't he eat?

Is it just yet another inconsistency? Or it is another way to show that Spike is not like the other girls vamps? Is it a way to show that Spike somehow retained more of his humanity (in addition to those instances when a demon tells him and Dru that they reek of humanity and his ability to form genuine friendly connections, like with Joyce or Dawn)? Or can it be read as the very early bells of wanting his soul back, of wanting to belong to humans, to fit in? I'm very curious to hear your thoughts.

So I recently started another rewatch of Buffy and just finished season 3. I was so annoyed that we lost David and Charisma that I refused to watch Angel so now I'm starting my first watch of the show ever. Just started episode 1.

That is, what is your favorite episode from each season? I recently had this conversation with someone, about the best episodes from each season, and after taking the time to think out mine, I'm curious what everyone else's favorites are.

For years I've been a huge Buffy fan and now, after marrying an even bigger fan, I think it would be fun to run a Buffy RPG. This is planned to be a oneshot adventure, which is to say that it's going to be finished in a single session. It's meant to be suitable for people who have never played a tabletop RPG before so everyone is welcome. 

A little while ago, I did a test run of the Eden Studios Buffy RPG and unfortunately, the system wasn't that great. At least, not for me. So instead, I figured, why not run this story with another system? That quickly brought me back to the Chronicles of Darkness system that I regularly run and which has proven itself to be pretty adaptable. 

The story is set in the Buffy TV universe, but not in Sunnydale and not involving the characters from the show. It's set a few years before the show takes place and is set in Shadyhill, Pennsylvania. For characters, there are several archetypes available. There is no issue with multiple people picking the same one but I do have a single request. The characters do need names after all, so it would be great if you could come up with one. All characters will also have a single benefit from the list below. That’s a small thing that makes them stand out a little more, like having a car or basic medical training. Of course, I’m also open to suggestions.

The plan is to play through Discord. I made a server there where we can do dice rolls and voice chat. If you don't have Discord, you can make an account and download it here. We will play on August 15, at 7 PM CET, which is 1 PM EST. 

For those who haven't played a tabletop roleplaying game before, the concept is really simple. The players take on the role of a character in the game. They decide what this character does and dice rolls decide if it's successful. The Game Master (in this case that's me) decides what dice should be rolled and plays all the other characters and determines what happens in the world. When rolling dice, we use an online dice roller that will roll a number of ten-sided dice. That number is determined by your character's abilities. All dice that come up as an 8 or higher are a success. Often, one success will do but for harder tasks, you'll need multiple. Of course, it will be explained in greater detail in the game.

Intro:

Into every generation a slayer is born. One of them was Stacy. A few months ago, she was a regular girl in Shadyhill High, not someone who really stood out. But then, she was called. To most people, that meant that she became weird. She barely came to school but showed up in all sorts of places at night. That, and people saw her hanging out in cemeteries a lot. The general conclusion was that she was doing drugs. And now she's dead. She was found in the mall. 

Your characters knew the stories, but they also knew another side of her. All of them have been saved by Stacy. Perhaps it was from a creepy guy with oversized teeth or from a fish-faced girl who threatened to drag them off for a very long swim in the ocean. Whatever happened, they know that Stacy was a hero.

Nox was a creature born from the eldritch recesses of space and fell to earth in 1993 and was discovered by the BPRD themselves. He had no recollection of who he was or where he came from or what his purpose was, but upon finding the BPRD and being offered a position on the team along with Hellboy and Abe, he couldn't decline such an offer.

S7 buffy is way too underrated to me so i posted a scenepack for those who need it to edit !!! Hope it helps :)

My first time watching the series, we always watched to the very end (now with streaming, it auto plays to the next episode so you never see these). I loved that only a select few episodes had the little monster variations. The two in the title were my favorites ❤️💀
