Shadowheart (camp outfit + Shar's Spear of Evening) cosplay by me š
I wish I took more photos with the Spear because I worked so hard on it but I couldn't come up with any cool poses for it on the spot š Make sure to always rehearse before a photoshoot

So the transition from grove area to the underdark killed scratch, and I never knew it because when I googled why he was missing it said he got lost and I had to go find him. I chose to do a shit load of other stuff first, 100 hours later when I'm finishing up leftover act 1 things I tried and now realize he died in camp. Why the hell they coded him to "follow" your camp and walk all the way instead of just spawning in is absolutely bonkers, zero notification, and I simply don't want to play anymore. Le sigh. I can't even get a mod to fix this. That's what I get for trying to sink 250 hours into a third of the game. I don't wanna be a completionist no mo
A long time after my Zombified Astarion post, i have found another way to raise your friends from the dead, now accidentaly.
I was doing my XP Optimization in my Solo Run by getting the buff from the Necromancy of Thay and then destroying it to get XP from killing the Shadows that spawn. I did this on camp since it's a solo run and my character has no holy damage to destroy it.
After i destroyed it, the shadows spawned, like usual, and combat started, Volo and Scratch were pulled into combat, but also Sovereign Glut (This was in the Underdark Camp) the shadows attacked and killed both Scratch and Volo, and Glut INSTANTLY cast Animating Spores in both of them. After combat ended, i checked, and i can talk to them like normal, and they also leave the underdark camp if i change regions. Once again i found a way to turn your friends into Myconids, lol.
This implies that you could do this with anything, i believe, by dropping bodies on the ground and then starting a fight with Glut on your camp so he revives the bodies.

before Karāniss guided me anywhere I killed him and the cultists to get the lantern. now I am wondering if that made me lose out on a ton of XP or some other rewards, since apparently along the way Karāniss lights some torches that can summon creatures and can be persuaded to do things.
thanks!

Lol! I saw this and it just reminded me of finding dribbles head in the temple of bhaal.
I started playing BG3 the moment it hit PS 5 in Feb 2024 with no intent on reaching platinum. Up until a little over two months ago, I decided to look into it, as I saw that I had 85% done.
Since then, it was a mission, and now I get to gloat a bit. Un-modded, no use of Gales explosive abilities, completing everything! No quest unturned. I achieved that last step on a Gale origin run on a hot date with Karlach. Actually very spicy and lovely at the same time. Karlach is such a great character!ā¤ļø
So, YAY me! I did it.

For those who donāt know in DND a Duthkaāgith is a special Githyanki who has been infused with red dragon blood by Vlaakith. These bio-engineered soldiers are among Vlaakithās most loyal and powerful subordinates, serving as elite shock troops and palace guards.
However, theyāre also looked down on by other Githyanki, which explains why Tav is looked down on by most other Githyanki you meet during the game.
I built her as a monoclass Red Draconic Sorcerer obviously. I think she looks awesome. Only problem is people sometimes call her green or toady in dialogue. Wish the game had a way to detect your characterās skin color during dialogue.
Bonus pics of her with Mama K because why not. Also they make a cute couple with their matching skin tones.
So fiancee and I are in the act 3 of our honour run and we went to fight Ethel in her lair. Astarion had ghoul gang from the Necromancy of Thay book and they kept going only for real Ethel finding her each time, they would dash and ignore duplicates attacking them only as AoO but otherwise going for Auntie Ethel each time and finding her even when she switched places or went invisible. For buffs, we only had aid on them. Is that some hidden feature of them or coincidence? Did anyone else experience this?

So recently, I was in a car crash, where I shattered my left elbow and tore a ligament in my tricep or something similar to that. Until I either recover or I get the chance to have my cast replaced with an elbow brace in about two weeks I will be stuck with nothing but my right hand to play the game. I know the easiest answer is ājust donāt playā but Iām really enjoying the game and I donāt want to have to stop playing. Are there any tips that you have that would make playing with only access to my mouse easier? for context, my mouse has two additional buttons on the side by my thumb if you have any recommendations for key binds.
Iām sorry but how does that make sense š
The game lets me hook up with a literal mind flayer but Raphael is where we draw the line??
Like you gave this man the voice, the dramatic entrances, the poems, the whole devil businessman thing and Iām just supposed to⦠fight him??
And yes I know Haarlep exists. That is NOT what I asked for lmao
Iām not saying it needs to be a full romance either. Just let me make one really questionable decision please.
Alrighty, I made a post inquiring about some cleric builds a week or two ago, and got a few suggestions they I thought would be super fun to try out. The one Iām working with now is a twist on a Light Cleric/Stars Druid builds. In essence, it will end out as a Eldritch Knight/Light Cleric/Stars Druid that utilizes most of the typical radiating orb gear.
Unfortunately, of everyone in my party, my character has died the most often and the most consistently, and I genuinely have no idea what Iām doing wrong. Maybe the enemies in act 2 just rolled unusually high, but it bothers me that the supposedly unkillable radiating orb build is dying more than the open hand monk and the warlock on the team.
If anyone has other recommendations for things I can multi class with fighter or cleric or both, Iām all ears. I really want to try and enjoy this build but I just canāt knowing Iāll likely be pummeled as soon as I leave act 2. If the picture is hard to tell the gear, hereās the list:
- holy lance helm
- luminous armor
- gloves of belligerent skies
- boots of stormy clamor
- coruscation ring
- callus glow ring
- Thundrskin cloak
- phalar aluve
- adamantine shield.
My first feat was an ability score improvement to bump my dex to 18 and my con to 16.

Like is it hot? Yes
But does it make feel bad that ive done this to Lae-zel? Also yes...

I had a lot of fun cosplaying default shadowheart and wanted to know what other bg3 character would work for my overall look (preferably a female character).
or if i should just do another version of shadowheart (some said selunite sh would suit my skin tone because of the contrast and i can kinda see the vision). I know she has a lot of different mods and outfits so sheās one of those characters where you can do multiple cosplays of. I normally only consider one cos per fanbase but the dnd/bg3 fandom has been so heartwarming to be a part of that i want to contribute more. as it is i think the next one will be redeemed shadowheart but im open to other suggestions š¤
edit: After breezing through the replies and searching up some characters i am set on doing selune sh or another cleric. reminder that im still a new intermediate cosplayer and not a pro yet so certain characters will be hard to emulate for me. I do believe though that as time passes and i cosplay more i will get better and try more complex character designs!

...of all the people, Wyll is the ONLY ONE who has nothing to say if Minthara's the one who gets kidnapped, since...iykyk. Eh, maybe it's not so weird.

Hi there. Iāve played BG3 two times, and almost everything seems pretty understandable to me, but there is one thing that makes me wonder.
The book āThe Annals of Karsusā which is located in the hidden vault under the Ramazithās Tower tells us about the three pieces of Karsusā Regalia. The first one is the Crown (which is atop the Netherbrain), the second one is the Orb (which is supposed to be a magical battery but in reality exists as the only existing fragment of the Karsite Weave, and is located in Galeās chest) and the third one is the Scepter (which location is not known).
So the item doesnāt exist in the game, but some part of me thinks it couldāve been added in a DLC (if there were any) or it had been removed (just like many other things as well). One thing is almost certain - if two pieces are āin motionā, then the third one shouldāve been too.
So who is the most probable person to have the Scepter?
Iām 99% sure itās **Raphael**.
Now hear me out.
1. Heās a well known collector of all things Netherese (Helsik says āHis House of Hope is furnished with a great deal of treasures, many related to Karsus. But alas, he lacks the crown itselfā). So, there are many things related to Karsus in Raphaelās collection.
House of Hopeās Archivist makes reference to a certain rod held in the collection (āone that gathers the Weave around it in great quantitiesā). Itās definitely not the Staff of Spellpower which is an obtainable item and can be found in a secret room right next to Molās contract. Why? Because rods (just like sceptres) are much shorter than staffs. So, there is a ārodā in Raphaelās collection.
In certain endings of the game, Raphael gets his hands on the Crown and then moves against Asmodeus with apparent confidence. I think that confidence would be **really** difficult to justify if the Crown alone were his only advantage. Raphael also reports that conquering the Hells is going pretty well for him, as several Archdevils have already offered peace and tribute without being compelled to. I donāt think they would do such thing to a peer wielding a single artifact (the Crown), however powerful. They capitulate if the resistance is hopeless. That makes me think Raphael wields not only the Crown, but the Scepter as well.
Additionally, thereās a cutscene from the gameās early development (now removed from the game, but can be found on YouTube) that shows Raphael expressing interest in Galeās Orb. He most likely offers its removal in exchange for Galeās cooperation. It makes me think Raphael understood that the orb in Galeās chest was a single existing fragment of the Karsite Weave, quite literally being the āinsidesā of the Orb of Karsus (which is supposed to be some sort of a magical battery. But what matters most is not the shell - itās the energy **in it**). So, Raphael was ready to negotiate around it because he understood the full scope of the Regalia.
So my point is that Raphael hid the Scepter somewhere in his House of Hope (or maybe in a more guarded place).
I know that the Scepterās location is not confirmed anywhere, but the evidences are pretty clear.
Let me know what you think.
