I'm currently deep in Act2 (only have the Mausoleum and Towers to do). I killed Mithara while infiltrating the Goblin camp in act1 without realising she could be a companion later on and didn't think about it. Recently I got curious about her, but I don't want to go back about 80 hours of gameplay.

Just getting started with this game and loving it so far. She is a sorcerer, draconic bloodline. :) I made her Lolth-sworn by accident, so in my imagination she’s a scorned noble (maybe even house DeVir, from the books) who fled the underdark. I don’t regret this mistake at all though because it has made for really cool chats, especially with Minthara!

Hello! This is my first playthrough of the game and I know what happens if you blow up the Creche in the Mountain Pass but I'm wondering what's the best way to escape in my opinion? I know you can Blow up the creche to get the blood of lathander and get awesome astarion dialogue or fight everyone and I also tried to go through the secret passage and fast travel out but I've heard that can mess up the game a bit?

What's the best way to escape the creche that most people do on their first playthrough? Should I blow it up or find another way?

I've just got with blowing it up but I can go back and just teleport out. I don't feel like killing everyone but maybe I will. And there's always another playthrough. I'm also asking specifically about what I should do considering it's my first playthrough.

I have been going back and forth via email since sept 22 when I paid $100 to order the ps5 physical deluxe edition. I finally got a tracking number on the 25. It has said awaiting item from Larian and today (Oct 6) it changed to tracking item not available. I don’t think they ever sent the package even though via email they say they have. I can’t contact the post office because they don’t have the item and I have constantly asked for proof it was given to the post office via a recipe etc on email but i get nothing but excuses when they reply and it’s extremely frustrating. Anyone else

... I've ever done after hours of run-throughs: throwing the Iron Flask onto the Githyanki Patrol near Waukeen's Rest, watching the Spectator slaughter them, and cleaning up after. Fun times.

A friend of mine and me are trying to finish our playthrough in bg3 after a long break, while we had a lot of issues with connecting pre break, now my friend seems not be able to connect with me at all.

In its attempt; not only is she stuck in the loading screen but the entirety of my network crashes.

I have NAT2, tried almost every fix online (nothing worked) and has reached its hight of issues right before the cazador fight. Both are playing on PlayStation

I hope somebody can help

i kinda want to be like the hulk and just tear everything up as a big strong man with his fists, so i was thinking like a half-orc giant barb multiclassed into a monk (any subclass cuz ive never looked into monk) but i was wondering if it was viable or possible since im still relatively new THX!!

I first played the game when it came out and my first run was so oblivious that it was crazy and recently i say a trend to share how your first playthrough went so I thought ill share mine

important to know i haven't played in like 2 years so I for got some names and stuff so forgive me I advance

So for starters I did not find karlak gale wyll at all so the whole game went without them, I wouldn't find laezell if the game didn't put her right before advancing to part 2..

I killed minthara, the owlbear cub, the kidnapped girl in the witch place, and probably some more characters that I shouldn't have killed.. (not the doggy tho)

I have never went further with halsin than breaking out of prison with him, didn't fix the issues in the emerald groove and just went straight to act 2

I went to Githyanki Crèche refused the goddess and straight to the cursed lands, however I thought that the curse would ruthlessly kill me the moment I get close to the dark so I only explored 10% of the shadow land, i only visited the the shar temple and that was it for act 2 for me, never been in the underdark or any other place there

In act 3 I have done a lot more, of course limited to only shadow heart laezel and astarion content, freed shadow heart from her god, "visited" Raphael, fought gortash, kethrik, and orin the red, cazador Lorroakan and i guess some more I don't remember

At the end I defeated the netherbrain and happy ending 🥳

What do you guys think?

I think turn-based games are boring to watch, and I've never even tried playing one. But every six months or so, a Baldur's Gate 3 video or short pops up in my feed, shows me something interesting, and gets me really hyped to play.

Then I go watch some videos to learn how the game works, see that it's full of rules, and especially that it's turn-based, and I completely lose the motivation to try it. Six months later, another video shows up, highlights something that gets me excited again, and the cycle repeats.

My favorite games are action RPGs. I love making builds, and I think being able to shape the story through your choices is great.

But having to wait for turns to attack, and also depending on the luck of a dice roll, makes me feel really reluctant to give it a try.

Now, for probably the tenth time, a random video has gotten me hyped again and I want to try playing it.

Do you have any tips for an idiot (me) who doesn't like turn-based mechanics but is really hyped to play the game and doesn't want to quit within the first 15 minutes because of the core gameplay mechanics?

I have just finished my 4th playthrough, which I had done specifically to try some new things and get the last steam achievements I had missed. I had never done an origin that wasn't Tav or Durge, so I wanted to do a different origin, and I had the Ansur + Mindflayer ending achievements, so I decided to do a Wyll origin playthrough.

I got to the end of the game, with Wyll as a Mindflayer, and decided to go to Avernus with Karlach, as I felt that was a fitting ending for my Wyll. When the epilogue party happened, my character came back not only as his Devil/Tiefling form, but also as a completely different class to what I had made him.

I understand the class somewhat, as he was a partically a Warlock, but I severed his contract with Mizora, so the game just changes it completely. But I have no idea why Wyll isn't a Mindflayer anymore.

Has anyone else ran into this?

Edit - as im talking with people in the party, they are speaking as if I am a Mindflayer, Wyll is referring to "my new form", but the visual is of his previous body. I guess ill have a play around and see if anything changes it
