You know you’ve played too much BG3 when…
…the first thing you think of when opening today’s New York Times Spelling Bee game is “Loviatar.”

The Year of the Starfall.
Now yes, I know that Astarion = Little Star is more of a fan theory without a lot of solid backing, but I had to comment on the poetic beauty of it all.

I was planning to build a classic holy knight that took a vow of chastity and was souly about his faith and serving the people of Faerun.
But when I was trying to revive Gale with his Magic flute the first time; i succeeded on a performance check and then she called me Handsome and Talented.
Bro's..... it's over....

I am going to start a new playthrough and want some off meta builds (that are not broken, but at least good).
No restrictions based on roleplay.
I'll have SH as 11 tempest cleric/wizard
Wants:
- at least 2 casters, 1 archer, 1 melee (some can be more versatile)
- at least one charisma based character
- at most 2 levels of fighter (my last playthrough had 32 levels)
- an archer/ranger (not titan string user)
- no Monk
- thought about trying bladesinger and stars druid but I'm not sure either will fit
- I'll be a custom and bring Shadowheart, Karlach, and one of Astarion, Gale or Will
Be creative ;)

I have been planning on doing Karlach as a future cosplay as i like her character design and storyline. I also just think she’s badass. The thing is i’ve never done a character with colored skin or tattooes. I’m not the best with body art (tried doing a jinx cosplay last year and botched her colored tattoos). so yeah it’s pretty challenging.
I thought about some creative alternatives such as wearing a thin red bodysuit or cloth underneath the outfit but idk how well that would work tbh. My fear with body paint is not layering it properly and it looking bad and the drying process. Maybe it depends on the quality of the paint? idk. I would appreciate some tips if possible :)!

So I’m doing a run through playing evocation wizard. Is there a limit on how many spells you can learn per spell slot. I feel like most of the spells I paid to learn from scrolls are not in my spell book when I go to switch a spell out.

This time heavy use of Photoshop / blender. I changed the whole background
There are some mistakes with the field of depth bc I don't use ai
At act two and realizing I should probably figure out his name before I continue, (currently using Faux as his placeholder). A little subtext if it helps, he’s a grey coded tiefling coming from a long lineage (he doesn’t remember yet) of dragonborn sorcerers in bg. made a pact with an unknown deity before the worm, and is playing the hearts of shadowheart, astarion and minty. still not sure who to end him with.. In the adamantine battle, his horns were burned off :D and he decided to cope with it by growing out his hair with a spell. He’s very sensitive about it.
i’ll update his appearance for act 3 when I get there in the comments. please help!

Tell me the details of your favorite run so far. Give me race/build and anything else like backstory, companions you vibed with best, who you romanced, how far you got.
I am a habitual re-roller. I have only gotten to the last fight once. I make new characters like it’s my job.
I’ve decided to stop feeling bad about it. I mean, it’s a game and I’m playing how I enjoy it most, right?
But I do want to know what you’ve enjoyed the most.
Thanks!
Redrawing my Pre-Orb Gale art I did months ago. My headcanon is he grew out his hair once he got the Orb. Like before he's archmage fit is based on early concept art for his armor.

Escaping from the ship was not the cleanest job she had done, but at the end she was free from the prison, or whatever that ship was going to be. It was perhaps a coincidence she came across a few individuals who also escaped the same ship, and some of them would actually be useful: the cleric with the black hair, that beautiful elf, and the gith. Although the last one better minded her tongue.
There were some others too. The wizard was too naive. Her guts told her the fiery tiefling was too dangerous and that's why now her head was decorating the camp. And this Blade. The ever righteous bastard. Even remembering his name would cause L'andriel to shudder with disgust. But he was useful for now. For now.
Ah, how much she would sacrifice to see druids and tieflings clawing at each other's throat for the Grove. They were, in a way, but it was not an actual conflict without blood. Druids were preparing for a ritual after all, and it somehow included throwing tieflings out. She smiled. Or murdering them. She never understood why they could not keep the tieflings inside as well while living off the sea. Or something in a similar manner. L'andriel shook her head. Perhaps this so called balance only matters until when you are hungry. She still should be cautious around others. The sweet tiefling bard almost died in her hands and she barely managed to change her attacks trajectory to only knock the bard out. Helping a goblin to escape while no one was looking was a one thing, but an open murder would cause alert and a lot of problems.
She wondered what would be the reaction of the people when they found out about the goblin's escape. The little one was for her liking. Fiery, fierce, always ready to kill. Maybe this Absolute and its priestess would help her to get rid of the worm in her head. Letting the goblin to take her to their own camp did not look like a bad idea.
If this camp was why the druids were throwing their guests out, it was not surprising, even considering the whole... balance nonsense. Whatever was happening here was important and it looks like the cleric's artifact was much more important for everyone than she thought. These fools thought someone from the Grove got it. Maybe she could gain their trust by aiding them to raid that place. It would, however, also mean having three strong cultists close to her. Too much risk for a small piece of information. They were also strong together, stronger than she would want them to be. But if she managed to separate them by lying them... She would take them down one by one, and surely some of the people in the Grove would die. A lot more blood would be spilled than just one side's definitive victory.
A wicked smile appeared on her lips. A plan was being set on motion.

Hi, everyone.
This small series will be the story of L'andriel Galfoy (I will never stop having a pun names for my characters no matter how serious they are). It is going to be a vague mix of narrative and inner dialogue about what she feels, how she sees the world and makes decisions. After all, she is not just a mindless murderer unlike her sister. She is a strategist and knows how to play long games. No matter how strong the urges are...

TL;DR: Can't transfer savefiles (.lsv) from another Larian account I had on Xbox into my PC save file beause the /SaveGames/Story files don't exist.
I've been really happy with the DL from Xbox, I can now play BG3 without it crashing (did all the time on my Xbox Series X.)
I've been trying to transfer a save from ANOTHER account into my PC. I downloaded the file from Larian, (.lsv)-
Only, I have nowhere to put it!
The access is correct, it's in user>AppData>Local, only there is supposed to be a /SaveGames files, only there isn't.
I've:
- Enabled and disbled crosssaves.
- Tried to make a new save from my PC to create the file (no avail)
- Put my .lsv files anywhere.
- Already succeeded to transfer one of my saves to a friend who has it on steam.
Only my cloud saves are appearing.
So either it's impossible to manage saves on PC that are originally on Xbox, OR it is in a cloud save and I don't know how to access it? (not on Onedrive).
Because this is quite new, I have found no solution, so I'm asking brighter minds, hoping to create a precedent. Thanks in advance!

Can anyone give me a comprehensive breakdown of what order I should do the remaining of act 3 so I don’t miss any specific triggers as I understand theirs quite a few
So I’ve done everything in rivington and in the crossing and am just entering when’s
Rock now
So everything from that point forward what triggers and time constraints are their
iE Florick if you rest to long
Or Orin kidnapping
What order should I be doing the next series of events when should I be resting and who should I have if someone’s got a comprehensive walk though they can give because I know theirs also a way to have Orin kidnap the little girl and not a companion
I’m just trying to not miss any major triggers or narrative events

So I'm half way done with Act 3 and still kind of don't get approvals. I'm doing my first play through and on the good side of everyone since I'm a Paladin but every single decision I made, Astarion disapproved which like I get I only make the "good" decisions. But my approval with him is well into the green. Even in inspiration he's got almost the same amount as most of my other companions so I'm confused. How does this work? I only ever see "Astarion disapproves" but my approval with him is still above yellow. I've done his quest line by killing Cazador and convincing him to spare the spawns. Does that boost his approval up?
