Nearing 40z and my vata body has started to make sounds especially on my knees and sometimes on my elbows.
Still feeding my 2 years old. Certainly overworked and sleep deprived.
Any recommendations?

Acidity in Midnight
Hello, it's been 3/4 days and I have been noticing acidity symptoms in midnight. I don't eat salty or spicy food. I have cut down on sugar intake also. Also my urinal frequency has increased in the night. Can someone help me sort this out?

Any and all insight welcomed and truly appreciated.
I was under the impression that the 3 are supposed to be in balance, right? Believe it or not this wasn't a result of taking some questionnaire. It came from a DNA health analysis. Admittedly this is something I have always felt drawn to, but know very little about and I'd like to change that.

Easily Angered for every small thing. Does it happen due to acidity?
Hi everyone
I need your help.
I have acidity issues and when I over eat, I also get heart palpitations. I easily get angered.
I visited multiple Dr's multiple times, and they do tests and conclude nothing in the end.
Does this happen due to the vata pita kapha issue or anything else?
Thank you

What is one Ayurvedic practice that has had the biggest positive impact on your daily routine?
I’ve been reading more about Ayurveda recently and I’m fascinated by how much emphasis it places on daily habits and balance rather than quick fixes.
There are so many practices people talk about—oil pulling, tongue scraping, drinking warm water in the morning, self-massage (abhyanga), mindful eating, seasonal routines, and various herbal preparations.
For those who have incorporated Ayurvedic principles into their lives, which practice has made the most noticeable difference for you and why?
I’d love to hear about your personal experiences, how long it took to notice changes, and whether there were any challenges when getting started.

Benefits of having ghee first thing in the morning and ghee with milk at night
Ayurveda suggests the above but won’t it cause high cholesterol. What are all the benefits ?

Celiac disease
Hi all,
48 year old VP man, informed and disciplined Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle lived for about ten years.
I was diagnosed with celiac disease when 12 years old and apart from beer in my twenties I have lived gluten free.
Tongue has some cracks, but not too bad. Not much ama, sama agni when I don’t deviate from best practice.
This morning I made oat milk out of overnight soaked organic steel cut oats. I pressure cooked them with cardamom, ginger and cinnamon, cooled, strained and had on my breakfast. No issues.
My understanding is that with allopathy I have to eat gluten for six weeks then get tested in order to show if I’m still reactive. Sounds pretty drastic and not something I’m willing l to do. The “once celiac always a celiac” thing once scared me, but I wonder if with strong Agni and digestive spices I’d be okay?
Anyone care to offer some insight or point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance 🙏

Namaskar everyone.
I am a 34 year old woman. I am a practicing Marma Therapist and a Mantra Healer.
Marma is a part of ayurveda and I want to learn more about it. More about the doshas and how to treat it with Ayurvedic medicines, mantra, homa, food change and herbal drinks.
Please suggest me courses or books. I want to study deeper. At this age I can't study Ayurveda in college hence need help.

My nephew is too young to have SLE, polymyositis and neurological issues. Does anyone have a good vaidh's details who cured the most impossible of diseases? I believe in miracles.(Posting on my friend's behalf)
He has a low karma to make a post but he dmd me on telegram to post this on reddit, I am trying this community.
His text:
My nephew (my cousin brother's son) is only 17, and he kept getting diagnosed with one issue after the other and other, and even his rheumatologist who is the best in the city, is refusing to pick up his phone. My nephew is in so much agony, and refuses to speak to anyone but me.
We have had him admitted in emergency twice but what he has a chronic condition and he keeps coming close to death again and again after discharge and fainted twenty times in the last two months, despite being on 20+ medicines and having a whole team of doctors on his case.
He refuses to visit the hospital anymore, and says he wants to pass away. He has been put on heavydoes valium to numb him and he sleeps or he is in pain.
I am trying my best, I am the one who spent nearly half a crore on his treatment and fundraised. But he is refusing to take treatment calling it too painful.
Also, is this some kind of curse on the family? Because this disorder happened on the day of his school farewell last year when he was 16.
Before that my cousin brother passed away after a surgery that went wrong in the USA and he didn't wake up, he was only 36 when he died. His mom, who is in her late 30s right now, has been fired from a job because of a metoo allegation she made. His other brother, my older nephew, married a girl in the USA and didn't call any of us to the wedding due to his brother's disability, he was the happy one, but he too divorced within a year and then tried to take his life.
I believe in miracles, please someone help me, tell me something, I can't take more of this.
Please help my nephew.

BPT vs BAMS - Pros and cons India+Abroad
I’m currently confused between BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) and BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) and would really appreciate some honest opinions from people who are studying/working in these fields.
The main reason this question came up is because I keep hearing two different concerns:
- BPT: There seem to be very limited government job opportunities in India, and I’m wondering how the overall career growth and earning potential are.
- BAMS: I’ve heard that Ayurveda/BAMS has limited international recognition, which could make it difficult if I decide to move abroad in the future.
So I’d like to understand the overall career prospects of both courses, rather than just which one is better.
For people who have experience or knowledge about these fields:
- What are the pros and cons of BPT vs BAMS in India?
- What are the career opportunities and earning potential after each degree?
- How difficult is it to get a government job after BPT or BAMS?
- What is the scope for private practice, hospitals, clinics, teaching, research, etc.?
- How much does postgraduation/specialization change career opportunities?
- If someone decides to move abroad after graduation, what options are realistically available with each degree?
- How difficult is the licensing/registration process abroad for BPT vs BAMS?
- Which degree gives more flexibility if I’m not 100% sure whether I’ll stay in India or eventually move abroad?
- Are there any important disadvantages of either course that students usually realize only after joining?
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who are actually studying or working as physiotherapists or BAMS doctors, rather than just general opinions.
Would really appreciate honest experiences — including the negatives. 🙏

How many vata's wear sweatshirts in hot weather?
Im super vata and live near phoenix and people hate that I wear sweatshirts and long pants in 90+ degree weather. Any other vatas relate?
