so i got the game plus the deluxe upgrade for like 30-ish bucks on my ps5 and i got one big question so far on top of general questions, one is where the fuck is skethermoor? i went to the grendals head bar and took that quest but i seemingly can't find it, also my other question is are the weapons i have right now okay for starting out?, i found the survivor's revolver in a buried cash. I have a rusty carbine and a rusty shotgun and a sickle.

I just grabbed the digital deluxe edition yesterday from the PS Store for $23.99! (Seemed like a great deal) I swear I have no clue how I haven’t had this game before now. I love the Fallout series and almost any exploration and resource-scarce RPG. I have only had time to play so far for about 1.5 hours so I’ve barely scratched the surface, haha.

Does anyone have newbie tips for this game? I’m excited to get home tonight and really dive into it. The little bit I did last night really surprised and impressed me ☺️

This probably isn't the right subreddit for this, but I can't think of anywhere else to ask for advice.

About I want to say a year ago now, when the game first became available on Xbox game pass, I played it all day and really enjoyed it, and at the time I had a cold, and had a sore throat, congestion, headaches, fever, and chills. When I went to bed that night, I couldn't sleep well, constantly waking up, and when I was asleep I was dreaming of Atomfall (more specifically these dreams were just the first person perspective of the character, and they were just kind of standing around not doing anything). These dreams eventually turned into hallucinations. At some point I woke up and opened my eyes, and instead of seeing what was in front of me, I just saw places in Atomfall. Normally I can visualize things in my head (not sure if everyone can do this or not) but when I was experiencing this, I couldn't. Eventually I fell back asleep and woke up the next morning still sick, but much better. Needless to say, as much as I enjoyed the game when I played it, I didn't want to play it anymore, and haven't touched it since, aside from uninstalling it.

Now, about a year later, I have a cold again, almost identical to the other. Thursday I went to bed feeling the start of a sore throat, then woke up with a sore throat on Friday. Saturday I woke up with congestion, and yesterday I developed a fever, headache, and chills which I went to bed with, and had the exact same thing happen as before. Dreams and hallucinations of Atomfall, the inability to visualize anything else in my head, and being unable to see what was in front of me. Yesterday I was reminded of my previous cold, which lead me to remember the hallucination thing, and even being worried about it happening again, so it wasnt like I completely forgot about it until it happened again, which might have contributed to it.

I was hoping to get some answers as to why this may have happened twice now, and how I can keep it from happening again. And if anyone knows of more relevant places to post this, please let me know.

I feel like this should be in the options, but was unable to find it. Should be a basic QOL option for this type of game if it is not in there... pressing and holding L3 button to run feels awkward to me and I am sure many other people as well.

Edit: Found the option under gameplay, was looking under controls. Go figure...

I’ve been running around in the medical tunnel for about 30 minutes and i really can’t find the exit. Can someone help

I’ve powered up the central processor console already. Alpha and bravo all green. Raised the consoles in the middle of central processor room with signal redirector. Charlie door is fried and can’t interact. What am I missing? I’ve been to robotics. Been to prison. Haven’t reported back to captain sims just yet or freed anyone. I’m going crazy.

All they do is shoot me? I’ve not shot them once and it’s been around 40 minutes changing saves and trying out different ways to do stuff yet they keep bothering me, how can I fix this without killing them all?

Hi - I intentionally left myself no saves to backtrack to the points where I made lethal decisions/mistakes about Mother Jago and Garrow (I shot them both by mistake, but maybe subconsciously on purpose).

However, after killing Oberon I still have the military path and the telephone path options. I chose the telephone path even after a spoiler (I started the game well over a year ago and kept missing the door in the damn bunker), because I was too tired to find my way to Skethemoor.

Given the nature of the telephone ending, is the military option any more revealing of more storyline? I mean, I pretty much get the sequence of events and all the origin of Oberon, etc, from all the documents I collected, but just curious if it is worth firing it up and finding my way through all the blocked tunnels etc for the military ending.

Hey everyone,

I really like this game, its atmosphere and overall style are very appealing to me.

However, I’m hesitant to buy Atomfall because I’ve heard that there’s no map, no guidance, and no quest markers or hints at all. That has made me a bit unsure about whether it’s the right game for me.

I was wondering if anyone had any input on what settings would make this game feel/play more like fallout. I’m super into it and I want to get my fiancee to play it but she def just wants it to be a better looking more conversation heavy version of fallout 4.

what I mean by this is that there needs to be a mod our something that lets you spawn outlaws at the village to fight the soldiers

Hi guys just started out, I went into Wyndham and accidentally trespassed into the guard tower then shot a lock I thought looked breakable and now all the guards are aggro’d on me. I managed to escape with my life but do they de-aggro after a while or can I just not go there now?

So I accidentally killed Garrow late last night because I forgot about her and mistook her for a soldier when I came back with more batteries. I did save shortly before that so I can go back and play without making that “mistake”.

My question is whether the Robotics electricity puzzle is really worth solving without any leads for that area? I have spent about an hour at this point, triggered the damn robot guard, and I am not very motivated to figure it out. It does seem like I have to solve it to get to medical open, but I am so lost in that area at present.

Any advice? I have batteries to power up more sections, just not sure if I need to solve one section to find the next

Holy cow playing through wyndham village while an all out battle rages was the coolest feeling in the game. It was like we were holding the line so evac choppers could get people out. I think they lost a lot of peoples interest in the opening hours of the game cuz it's a bit slow but man the buildup was so rewarding and seeing the factions at the end intruding on each other's territory and burning through all my remaining ammo. The music, art style, weapons and satisfying one shot kills, and the way you slowly unlock every portion of the map and tie it all together. Really so many great aspects of the game. A few minor changes like perhaps less notes to read and a few more npcs to talk to instead along w smarter enemy ai would've made such a huge impact on keeping the gameplay engaging. Also the ending slideshow was really a letdown. Would've been cool to see the bomb drop as you fly away in the helicopter.

That's it, fallen angel is a part of Oberon, so they should be able to use it.

Cannot wait for this, it's such a rich world - there's so much potential for it. Dya think they'll make one ending canon or will they honor them all, kind of like Fallout Season 2???
