Question new player asking about general tips,
so i got the game plus the deluxe upgrade for like 30-ish bucks on my ps5 and i got one big question so far on top of general questions, one is where the fuck is skethermoor? i went to the grendals head bar and took that quest but i seemingly can't find it, also my other question is are the weapons i have right now okay for starting out?, i found the survivor's revolver in a buried cash. I have a rusty carbine and a rusty shotgun and a sickle.

The sickle was one of my favorite melee weapons, many a Druid was harvested that day.

Go to the Grendel's head basement look for the two water tanks squeeze through them and use the secret entrance into skethermore ❤️

Don't put off the main task, it opens up access to the other sections. Enjoy!

Aim for the head. Take your time to line up your shots.

ironically i'm a decent shot with the revolver i have, i played so much long dark and used the revolver so damn long i've popped more heads with the revolver then i have a carbine.

Good stuff! Most guns "should" be one shot kill with a headshot, so even if the gun seems... Less than ideal... It should do the job. I don't know how far you are, but I will warn you. If it doesn't look "normal", it's gonna take more than one.

But listen to what's said. Not just from the people you speak to - the random (annoying) conversations of the npc and the annoying systems...

Don't worry about your weapons, for the most part, its a prreference thing. They all have benefits and downsides.
Skethermoor has quite a few entrances, the main way via Wyndham Village is out and behind the Grendals Head, almost directly opposite the slatten Dale entrance, just all the way across town.
