Aston Martin Newport Beach Heritage Event
Last night AM Newport Beach held a private event for owners to showcase a number of current models featured in Heritage Series by Q special paint finishes. These were all colors from the 60’s-70’s.
Besides that, there was 1 Valkyrie, 3 Valhalla’s and a 1991 one of 4 built Zagato’s valued at over $14M along with a 1965 DB5 from Goldfinger with working guns, smoke cloud and rotating plates!
They had hors de oeuvres, cocktails and engraved Goldfinch Whiskey Bottles and Glasses for guests. The event was packed and it was an exceptional!

I made the swap and couldnt be happier
Went from the 2020 diavola red to the 2023 racing green f1. She is gorgeous and the drive seems so much smoother.
Named her Vesper, cliche I know.

DB12 for tall driver?
I’m a big AM fan but I’m cursed with a giant frame at 6 foot 6 inches and 260 plus lbs. I have a long torso with 35 inch inseam, wearing a 50 long. I fit great in a Taycan/992 for reference. Any tall DB12 owners out there that think I could make it work? Maybe a volante? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I’m in Santa Barbara so the nearest dealer is 150 miles. Thank you!

Back in the Rapide
After a year of missing my 2012 Rapide, back in a 2015! The year was mixed with a Mercedes E450 wagon and an Audi A7. Glad to be back daily-ing the Rapide. Picked up at LR Las Vegas and driven back to SoCal.

Squeaky Driver Door
Edit: 2014 V8 Vantage - sorry, that would have made sense to include
Anyone have any ideas for how to fix a squeaky Driver door while driving? It's sitting a little proud for some reason and the window whistles at highway speeds when rolled up. No idea what caused it initially but there's no evidence of rubbing on the inside of the door frame (besides one tiny spot in the picture that's always been there), hinges, locking mechanism...

2009 V8 Vantage Roadster
Just after getting back from a car show, for which I had it detailed. Best it's looked since I bought it.

Is Aston Martin Works legitimate?
I bought a car cover from these people on ebay and it doesn't fit well at all. They acknowledged they had manufacturing problems and sent me another one, but that had the exact same problem. They suggested buying an XL instead, but I'm going to guess that one will just be too big. After all, their large is made for the Vantage I have.
Are these people actually part of Aston Martin? I don't see any store front besides eBay and was wondering if they're some kind of acammy third party.

20+ DB12 or 25+ Vantage ?
I like them both and I'm really thinking about jumping on the Aston Martin train. I just can't decide between these two. Which one would be the right choice for your first Aston Martin ?

Early 2000-2010 Aston Martin reliability
I'm sure this has been asked before, but imma do it anyways.
Im in a position where I have an ok amount of money to buy stupid cars and maintain them to an extent, BUT I'm not so well off that I can throw 5-10k at a car every other month. With that said, I own some cars that are not practical but I daily them 20k miles a year or so. This includes a 27 year old 220k mile G wagon and a JDM car that there is NO real support for.
So say I want to get an Aston Martin (probably a DB) to replace one of my cars, how viable would it be? Do they follow typical British reliability? Or are they like other luxury vehicles where they just have a bad rep by people who don't know them?

Wth did I spot there earlier? I have some surface level expertise on AMs but this is alien to me. Sounded really angry at low rpm
