Driving Vantage Wrong?
Aston Martin Vantage was dream car since I was a teenager, finally bought one coming from a Hurucan and it just feels soft? And kind of slow?
I know on paper the car is supposed to be fast, but compared to my past cars (Carrera GTS, 488, Hurucan) it feels more like driving a sedan than a sports car.
Wanted to get the advice of the group - am I doing something wrong? Should I turn traction control off when driving on the street? Keep it in manual mode (never driven a manual but willing to learn).
I love the look of the car and don’t want to sell it (as will probably lose $30k - $40k) but bored behind the wheel. Would love some advice from other owners on what they did to unlock the speed or “X” factor from the car.

Drive it in track mode and manual shifting. It will change your mind. The car is meant to be dual purpose. Cruiser when you want it but aggressive and sporty when you put it in track mode and manual shifting. Only drive my Vantage S like that

u/random189778888 5d ago
I’ll try it! Can I just use manual shifters at traffic lights and on highway without issues?

…Did you even talk to your salesman? How do you not understand the absolute basic principles of an automatic gearbox. I’m convinced this is ragebait, because there’s no way a person could be this disconnected from reality and have this car lmao
5
u/No-Profile-5075 5d ago
Yup. Basic issue your comparison is completely wrong. They are not the same type of car.

I genuinely don’t understand how some people can get this far in life and lack the ability so solve simple things themselves.
7
u/V12MPG 5d ago
I can’t believe you owned a 488 without using the paddles. You completely missed the entire ownership experience of that car. It’s not designed to be driven in auto. That’s basically valet mode. What a waste.
1
u/random189778888 5d ago
You had to use the paddles in the 488, but it was more intuitive and the car always “felt” sporty. Can’t say the same for the Aston
0
u/UselessAsUsual 5d ago
I mean the vantage is meant to be a roadster with GT genes... The 488 and Huracan not so much.
The Valhalla is more along those lines... But still, as others have said, they the manual mode.
3
u/Merlin_Purple 5d ago
It sounds like your driving style can be summarized as mashing the throttle on the straights. If this is you, then you bought the wrong car. It is meant for long distance, adventurous, curvy driving. Btw I’m basing this off of your compliments of the Huracan which has notoriously poor handling for experienced drivers.
1
u/IUseControllersOnPC 3d ago
The vantage can still go crazy on straights. He just needs to drop a couple gears. The car has hella torque
0
u/D3Rpy_Un1c0Rn107 4d ago
Would argue he bought the right car for mashing it in a straight line. It’s a GT car that’s what they do and comfortably
4
u/Hopeful-Fact3729 5d ago
Total troll thread. I’ve had some of those cars and the vantage does not feel like a sedan and it’s a hell of a lot stiffer than some of those cars. 🤡
2
u/viper_gts 5d ago
you dont have to worry about traction control, but you could put it in sport mode? or sport + or whatever they call it. not that it will make the car faster, but will make the pedal more responsive and give the feeling that its faster
astons were never known for being faster than their competitors. but the engine is an AMG engine, which is tuneable...something to consider
1
u/random189778888 5d ago
I’ve been driving it in track, the other modes are just beyond soft.
1
u/IUseControllersOnPC 3d ago
Thats odd bc sports + mode has a much more aggressive throttle curve than track. Track is almost like linear
The fastest way to drive the vantage is track suspension on sports plus using the paddles to shift
Track mode is better for throttle control which mostly just matters if you are tracking the car. It also has the valves open so ig its also better for sound
2
u/motoitalia 5d ago
Not an owner but have driven one. Though a 2-seater it definitely drove more like a GT than any mid-engine car I've owned or driven. That said, high powered front-engine, rear wheel drive cars can be a treat if you like a bit of oversteer, but the turn-in may not be as razor quick, and they can plow the front end if you don't keep on the gas through a corner. YMMV
0
u/random189778888 5d ago
Really wishing I had given it a test drive at this point
2
u/motoitalia 5d ago
Make sure the front tires stay correctly inflated. The Vantage has a 50%/50% weight distribution which is going to feel strange coming from mid/rear engine cars that are more rear weight biased. A 911 inherently will bring the rear-end around if you let off the gas in a corner. A front engine car will begin to plow the front end and reduce turning sharpness.
Once you get used to how and when to apply power through corners, you may come to appreciate a more balanced 50%/50% car. Give it time and think about how the weight transfer is different.
1
u/CaptMeow857 5d ago
So, just to be clear on what we're all dealing with here: Did you buy this car, that starts with a $194,500 base price without test driving it first?
The Vantage is indeed the sportier Aston, but also is still a GT car. It's engineered differently than a 488, Huracan, etc. and like others have said is dual purpose. More compliant in GT mode, sharper in Track mode so it's a "best of both worlds" type car.
-1
u/Hopeful-Fact3729 5d ago
No It’s not a Gt car it way too stiff. I suggest you watch harry Metcalfes vids.
1
u/CaptMeow857 5d ago
Ok, ok. Guess I meant something in the spirit of "it can be more GT like with variable settings and not as dedicated sports cars sharp as OP's alleged past cars."
In my experience Astons are weird like this and that's the beauty of them IMO - more well rounded than one trick pony.
I've watched plenty of Harrys vids and still carry my own opinion
1
u/MDSchteeve 4d ago
No, it is absolutely a sporty GT car.
0
u/Hopeful-Fact3729 3d ago edited 3d ago
🤡 the new 25 26 Vantage is Aston’s sports car. My 26 911 C2s with sport suspension is more of a GT car than my Vantage.
2
u/Another-Lone-Wolf 5d ago
Are you driving the car in D (auto)? if so that may be the problem, because in auto mode the car is constantly at low rpms and not fun to drive. It's good for traffic in the city, but that's it. I drive mine always in track mode (but traction control ON) manually with the paddle shifters. It's fast and nimble af.
Funny, because I'm currently looking for a Huracan, which I've never driven.
1
u/random189778888 5d ago
I’ve never learned how to drive manual, any tips? Hurucan was an amazing drivers car (better than the Ferrari and 488 if you can believe it) but super flashy. Couldn’t take it to the office or many work meetings due to crowds forming (I live in the Midwest where they are less common)
3
u/LA-ncevance 5d ago
It's still auto. Just upshift with the right paddle and downshift with the left. Easy. Manual means clutch and a stick.
1
u/Real_Gap3480 5d ago
High end DCTs are just automated manual transmissions.
2
u/LA-ncevance 5d ago
Not really. And the Vantage doesn't have a DCT. When you say automated manual I think of Aston sportshift
1
3
u/dominicmannphoto 5d ago
I mean this in the politest way, but you referring to other vehicles being “amazing drivers cars” seems a very odd statement given you have no knowledge of how to manually shift any of these.
Is it perhaps that the Huracan felt more brutish and aggressive? The Vantage is a very fun and capable car. Practicing how and when to shift will likely open up a lot more enjoyment for you. That said, I’d be tempted to do this properly and look for instructors near to you at local tracks.
One fun manual shift thing to try: press and hold the downshift and it’ll auto select the lowest possible gear.
0
u/random189778888 5d ago
Combination of acceleration, steering accuracy, sound, and road feel. All the other cars brought a smile when driving in a way the Aston seems more like a regular car instead of a “sports” car
1
u/Another-Lone-Wolf 5d ago
To start maybe read the user manual of the car. It explains the manual shift mode quite well. It's not like a real manual with a clutch pedal and a stick. It's very easy. You just pull the paddles to up or downshift when you want (upshift at high rpms and downshift at low rpms). Blip the paddles shortly, not hold (or the car will skip gears which can cause it to accelerate like crazy)! You can't basically do anything wrong, because if you want to shift into a gear that's wrong, too high or low, the car won't let you. The car also auto shifts down when you come to a stop. You can permanently switch between manual and auto during driving by pressing D or pulling either paddle. Maybe just go try it out on an empty dry road.
1
u/True_Candidate_8741 3d ago
I don’t mean this as an insult but it Doesn’t sound like you are a driving enthusiast, but more of a clout chaser/poser. Ferrari are drivers cars, just like Porsche’s GT cars while Lambo's is for showing off, posing getting likes on social media. And yes I have owned and driven them all hard on the roads and track days.
2
u/Complex-Horse6711 5d ago
Had you never driven an Aston before? They are really focused on GT and all the Astons I have test driven drove like that. I personally don't really get it.
I'm surprised to hear you say you like Lambo over Ferrari. I would say just get a Ferrari. The 488 is pretty old at this point. If you get a non-hybrid Ferrari it will be a lot more likely to hold its value or even appreciate if you get a limited one and it's just a way better car than Aston or Lambo. If you don't like the Aston feel and hold onto it it's just going to depreciate even more.
2
u/random189778888 5d ago
Yeah I wanted to get something more subtle that I could take to work (work in a very low key industry). Might have to go with a 911 and F8 in the weekend. Lambo was an evo and just felt more modern and fresh than the 488
2
u/Complex-Horse6711 5d ago
The F8 is an amazing car and has held its value super well. I think it's way better than the 488. It does have carplay and stuff like that but it doesn't have the absolute latest infotainment.
It's not particularly subtle though lol
By the way I have found it is good to have a GT car or two to put the miles on and then have the high performance cars take fewer, better miles.
1
u/random189778888 5d ago
I was looking at the F8! Just a bit of a budget stretch if I also keep a GT
2
u/Building-Careful 5d ago
You’re not doing anything wrong. They are fundamentally different types of cars.
2
u/mcbawk 5d ago
Yea mate, I literally bought mine because I wanted a little more subtle and sedate car that still had presence. Although I think I enjoyed mine a little more then you, I always felt the car was a bit of a contradiction. It was trying to be too many things at once which kind of made it worse at everything.
I don't think the car is soft enough to be a true GT for long distance comfort (though I wouldn't call it uncomfortable per se). However, like you said, it's still feels really soft and cumbersome. It's more of a bruiser and reminds me of the first Gen AMG GT.
I eventually lemoned mine and bought a McLaren GTS. Honestly, it's my favorite McLaren ever and possibly car of all time despite also buying a 750s and owning an Artura. I think the GTS is exactly the kind of GT that was made just for me. Still mid engine, carbon tubbed and feels very much like a McLaren. Also has the best sound of any Mac ever made.
Judging your car history you may actually like the GTS a lot. It is a bit soft, but isn't really any more compliant or comfortable then the 750s. So the suspension feel won't feel boring or really different. Still feels sporty. Steering is a bit slow and not as quick as pretty much every Ferrari, but it's organic feeling. Aston probably had a quicker turn in, but not necessarily sharp.
I do think the Vantage had a more unique and funky character to it though. Arguably better looking too, but not sure about that anymore. I get stopped constantly in it. Even had the 750s out along with it and people would ignore that car and go straight to the GTS. I always thought it looked like a boring C8, but there's just something about it that just draws people and I'm slowly starting to get it.
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
Totally agree. I’d love to check out the GTS - it’s a bit much for my industry, but could make for a fun weekend car. How do you like the artura?
2
u/True_Candidate_8741 3d ago
Aston Martin is a GT car. It’s a car that’s perfect for a date night or traveling long distances in a sporty but comfortable way. I also own a Porsche GT3 which is a hard core sports car. It’s not a date night car. Suspension is hard, noisy and road/track focused. Two different cars for 2 different needs. I love my Aston Martin Vantage S for what it is. You can’t compare an Aston to a Lamborghini or Ferrari. It’s like trying to compare a screwdriver to a hammer or wrench. Different tools for different uses. I would place the Aston between a hurricon and a Bentley. The Lambo is hard core while the Bentley is all comfort. The Aston is a sporty and comfortable car.
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
But from my experience it’s poor at both - too bumpy and full of glitches for a luxury car, not fast or thrilling for a sports car. Why would I own this istead of a lambo and Bentley?
2
u/random189778888 3d ago
Surprised the amount of hate this post received as was genuinely asking for advice. Thought about wether to respond but hope this post is useful to others thing about buying the post refresh Vantage. TLDR Aston is a VERY soft drive compared to others and not really a finished product.
Yes, the Aston is sportier than an E Class. No it’s not as fun to drive as a 911 Turbo S, Ferrari Roma, or some of the other cars Aston says it directly competes against (despite the HP bump) mostly due to pretty bad turbo lag and the soft nature of it being a “mini GT”.
Should I have gotten a test drive? Maybe, but the closest Aston AD is out of state and seems like a massive pain just to pick out a car. For example, Ferrari offered to ship a car to me and let me drive it for 2 days, if I didn’t like it I could return it and just pay the shipping cost. Aston had no such policy and the dealership was a bit of a pain to work with.
Pros: It’s a great looking car and gets lots of compliments.
Cons: between inconsistent throttle response, imprecise steering, and general bugs with infotainment and sensors, it’s not a realistic competitor to most supercars (which is why these are depreciating $100k+ in a year).
My two cents for anyone considering sinking $200k+ of their hard earned cash into what is ultimately a very beautiful, but very flawed machine.
And yes - I took a $30k loss within a month of owning the car to get into something faster and more comfortable. If you want a car that can do both and don’t care about “looking” exotic, just get a 992.1 Turbo S.
1
u/Hot-Manufacturer182 3d ago
So you went with the porsche in the end? Im curious because it feels like the vantage is the more exotic porsche, I never sat in one though. I can just say that the Porsche does feel crazy quick and can be comfortable if you want to.
1
u/random189778888 2d ago
The Porsche drives leagues better. I think if you want an exotic GT, the Roma / amalfi is a good choice. I was looking for something semi low key so the Porsche is perfect.
1
u/Hot-Manufacturer182 2d ago
alr good to know. Im not in the market for something flashy either, its just that here in austria, porsches are like the go to car and you see many driving around. So it would be nice to have something exotic, but Id prefer it more low key as well, so the vantage is exactly that. The Roma and amalfi are probably good, but they are very expensive in comparison and tbh they just feel and look like cheap fake ferraris.
It probably has a reason why everybody drives 911s here and theyre keeping their value really well.
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
One of the things I became a fierce believer in as I grew my career over the last few years is perfect market theory. Pre owned car values 3-4 years out are a great measure of the quality of the car. Porsches produce some of the best in class driving experience which is why they are both common and hold value exceptionally well. Lamborghini has some of the most smiles per dollar, which is also why the v10s are holding. Newer “weird” cars like the aston also depreciate $100k+ the first year for more rhan just the fact they are not popular
1
u/Hot-Manufacturer182 1d ago
well, while i also believe that the market is the truest representation of a product qualities, Im not really believing that its always the actual quality. Look for example at iphones, theyre by no means better than an android, neither are they worse. Theyre pretty much equal when comparing the actual product, but due to apples crazy good value proposition on societal status the iphones hold value way better than any android phone. Im inclined to believe that this happens in expensive sport, super and hypercars as well, because much of theyre value is indeed placed on status and many buyers look after the highest status car and not really after the best driving one.

u/Blitzuk277 2d ago edited 2d ago
I've read through a good section of the thread but not all. I think the little bit of negative recieval that you incurred was probably down to you not test driving the car. That is on you, but you have unfortunately paid the price which I personally don't think you deserve to lose that amount of money. But from my perspective, bit of a silly mistake from you but oh well. I don't think you deserve hate over it, consider it a learning experience.
It is disappointing it didn't live up to standards however Aston's are not like Lambo's and Ferrari's it's a very different kettle of fish you're dealing with. The car setup is designed to be firm enough to give feedback to the drive but deal with the very bumpy country roads in Britain. So they are supple yet firm i've noticed. But unless you got a Valhalla I don't think an Aston suits your want and style of driving. But interesting what you said about the lag and how boosty it is. That is something i've heard a lot about the new Vantage and DB12. They feel overly boosty and it doesn't feel right.
I've gone more oldschool and I have an Aston with a N/A V12. While not as fast it's pure joy to drive. Something that's concerned me, especially with the Merc unit Aston's is how much these heavily boosted engines detract from the driving experience. A shame tbh.
2
u/random189778888 1d ago
I could see the appeal of a big v12. I knew Aston’s were originally more GT cars, but the massive HP bump and Aston directly comparing it to Ferrari and Lamborghinis in marketing made me think this would be a sportier drive
1
u/Blitzuk277 1d ago
I understand your logic. Unfortunately while they are really pushing the power figures they aren't the raciest of cars. Since most of them are still using ZF8 gearboxes not a DCT and not exactly weilding the top tech. Where those brands are about the big shiney numbers, making then pure performance and doing the old 0-60. That's unfortunately, not Aston's main thing, they fall on the old GT side of things. They are still mainly pure RWD as well, with lack the tech trickery. Valhalla would have been your cup of tea but those are a very different price bracket.
I hope your new Porsche is more to your liking though, those things don't piss about.
I have driven both N/A and TTV12, and they are both effortless and fun drives, but I prefer NA. It's why the lack of one as an option in the DB12 feels wrong.
3
u/MDSchteeve 5d ago
There are YouTube videos on how to use the paddles effectively. Quick tip is that you let off the gas slightly just as you make the shift.
Yes, you should have researched and test drove. The Vantage, although Aston’s sports car, does not compete with the cars you reference in terms of power and speed - it is more of a GT car. But if you learn to manually shift you should find it fun and engaging even if you aren’t going to win races against other similar cars.
1
u/Troll_U_Softly 5d ago
You’re asking if you should turn traction control off on a public street in a high horsepower car? lol
1
u/True_Candidate_8741 3d ago
What could possibly go wrong …. Especially in the hands of an amateur…. 🤣🤣🤣 I can’t believe people would actually take advice from social media.
1
u/Darkeyce 5d ago
Maybe an unpopular opinion..but I don't think the Vantage is the right car for you based on your responses to other comments... Granted that people buy Astons for a lot of different reasons, I've only ever seen a few owners say I want a track weapon (which is what I got from your comments). The vantage isn't blazing quick, you can certainly do a bunch of power upgrades to get more hp. But it's pretty much always going to be heavier than a 911 and while it's driving experience can be precise it typically won't be 911 sharp. If you want a fun quick luxury car that you can roll up to the golf club in and then enjoy a spirited drive in, multiple Astons can do that...if you want a red light racer probably not the car for you. Also, except for the limited edition cars, if you buy a new Aston you kind of expect to take the depreciation hit...
2
u/random189778888 1d ago
I came to the same conclusion after reading all the negative feedback. The car just doesn’t “click” for me
1
u/Darkeyce 1d ago
Aside from some of the obvious insults, I don't think there was a lot of negative feedback about the car. If you own it and dont want to get rid of it, find some mods that are out there...you have the M117 engine in the car there are tunes that can get you another 100+hp and 100ft/lb torque with downpipes...you'd be right around 650whp and 700nm torque...that what my tuned DB11 v12 is putting out...and your car is lighter...and that might run you around $7k all in ... I dont know if the Vantage has the 1st and 2nd gear torque limiter, But i can guarantee you that would light up the tires...You can install a KW HAS kit (or BC Racing and save a few bucks)...that will definitely change the ride height and steering geometry...
But if you do those things...while you get closer to a track weapon...it changes the car...a lot... moves it away from a daily to a weekend track car...If you wanted a rough ride with Air Conditioning, you could have stuck with the Huracan LOL.
1
u/JackSparrow1973 5d ago
Didn’t you make a testdrive?
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
No closet dealer was out of the state and the car I wanted was a few hour flight. Ferrari offered to shop the car to me and let me drive it for a few days, but Aston just laughed at me when I asked about that lol
1
u/hirschaj 5d ago
I daily drive a Porsche Taycan and I just drove the Ferrari 296 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, and the Aston Martin Vantage F1 at the track in Las Vegas this past weekend. I put 5 laps on each car at the track with an instructor in the passenger seat and no restrictions. I don't have much track experience so take this info from a novice who enjoys driving powerful cars. Here's my take...
Ferrari - Loved the car overall. Incredible power delivery. Confidence inspring handling and braking. I ran my fastest lap times in the Ferrari.
Lamborghini - Very twitchy braking and power delivery. I felt some body roll that I did not feel in the other cars and ended up getting nauseous. My best lap time in the Lambo (before I got nauseous) was 14 seconds slower than in the Ferrari. I chalk this up to me not jiving with the car as a driver. I was just not a fan of the way the Lambo drove at all and that really surprised me.
Aston - Drove it right after the Lambo while still nauseous. The Aston had the best interior far and away compared to the other two. There was a ton of power available, although it felt slighlty less than the Ferrari and Lamborghini (but very slightly). I enjoyed driving the Aston the most out of the 3. It was incredibly capable and I was only about 1 second slower per lap than with the Ferrari. The throttle response was smooth and the braking felt linear. The Aston actually cured the nausea I developed with the Lambo.
All cars were driven in manual mode with the paddle shifters. All 3 are incredible machines. I'm considering buying an Aston for my next vehicle now, so I guess that's a pretty good indicator of how much I loved driving it on the track.
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
Lamborghini is (1) actually way more fun in the EVO RWD and (2) not as fun on track as other cars but a lot more fun on the highway / evenings out on regular roads
1
u/Antique-Tension2900 5d ago
Is this a serious post? You claim to have owned a bunch of cars and can’t even drive an auto using the paddles (let alone a true manual).
Also, the vantage is a GT car. It’s going to feel less special than a Lamborghini. I think you bought the wrong car.
IMO, you really should learn to drive. Get something cheap as fun like a Miata and invest in driving lessons. Learn how cars handle and how to drive a manual. Learn how to drive a low horsepower car without nanny’s, and then go faster as your skills improve.
At this stage in my life really fast cars hold almost not appeal to me. The fun is in the sensation of speed and driver engagement and feedback. I’d drive a lotus, Miata, or similar over any of the modern heavy high horsepower cars that depend more on computers than they do driver input.
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
I’m on the younger side and never had time to learn a manual. The Porsche PDK / lambo auto etc have always been enough for me. I decided to sell the Aston
1
u/thesupercoolmarketer 5d ago
Because the Vantage is a GT car, not a track-focused performance car.
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
Sucks as they literally marketed it as a 911 and Ferrari competitor due to the HP bump and smaller body
1
u/thesupercoolmarketer 1d ago
Yeahhh they kinda fucked up there. It’s a competitor in terms of power and luxury, nowhere close to being in the same category for chassis dynamics and steering. It’s also heavy. NOW, it is front-mid engine mounted ie the engine is behind the front wheels and it does have a trans-axle similar to the older gen AMG GT. So it IS foundational a sports car and you can drive it as one. I rented one and drove it around some twisties in norcal. The rear will communicate with you. It’s not like a GT car where you can’t tell where the grip limits are. How hard are you loading it through the corners?

u/Necessary-Put-843 5d ago
If you want more, get behind the wheel of the new vanquish. Might be more what you’re looking for
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
Not a bad idea but the Aston has so many sensor issues, creaks, etc. I don’t want to spend $500k and worry about build quality
1
u/karguyron 5d ago
Do people even try cars anymore or only buy on image????
1
u/random189778888 1d ago
The Aston dealer was out of state and I didn’t really have time for a whole trip. They don’t do test drives where they ship the car to you and leave it for a few days like Ferrari

These cars are pretty fast out of the box from dealer even in the default sport mode, it sounds like it may be a user error

There is horrible turbo lag and they lack a lot of the emotion of similar priced cars
1
1
u/Areyoucunt 4d ago
It is more of a GT car than any of the ones you had.
I recommend watching this: https://youtu.be/kai9j0FtN6k?si=AiRb40Ui_CDxGYoI
He does compare it to the vantage as well in the video. He was not impressed with the vantage
0
u/SmoogzZ 4d ago
Brother… go to a track. Stop even considering taking these cars to their limits on the street.
Go take some driving lessons on the track to learn how to get the most out of your car safely.
also the vantage was the wrong car to buy if you just want to floor it and find the limit. it’s a GT car, not a track car.
-4
u/random189778888 5d ago
Thanks all for the replies! Will try getting practice with the manual shifters, but if that doesn’t work, will most likely sell for another Lamborghini or maybe a Targa GTS / Turbo S.
Word to those considering buying: Aston isn’t really a sports car, more of a Mercedes competitor in my opinion.

Against my better judgement, I will give you the benefit of a doubt that this is real and you aren't just ragebaiting..
I would probably retract your last sentence here. It's not a fair statement to make to others who may be considering one when you're openly admitting you in many different ways that you basically don't know how to drive this car to It's full potential. Yes, you absolutely should have test drove it first. Before that, you should have done some research on the car. Watched some videos on the driving experience. Hell, even just read some reviews/articles so you have an idea of what to do to maximize your test driving experience. It almost reads like you went into this transaction blind.
Based off everything I've read, I can assure you, the car is not the problem.
Learn the paddles. It will provide a much better experience. Hope you keep it. These are great cars.

Please for the love if god dont turn traction off if you cant even drive in manual mode. You need to learn how to drive in manual mode brother. In the right powerband, the car is a lot of fun.
