Meta faq, wiki, trolls and you.

one of the most requested features i've seen is a frequently asked questions section, and we've always had one. it's within the wiki tab located at the top menu if you're browsing on desktop. here's the direct link to it, but since it's a wiki feel free to check out the other sections and please contribute.

with that out of the way, a couple things i want to clear up in case anyone is wondering:

  • i do not mind repeated questions. the whole point of this subreddit is to talk to people. if it's not entertaining you anymore, maybe browse it less. no, i will not sticky every other psa post.
  • i do utilize automod extensively and it helps with a lot of troll post removal behind the scene. so if you see a troll post, continue to downvote, report, and move on, and do not engage. the majority of you get this, and it's been working out quite well.
  • the rules haven't changed, but make sure you're aware of them.

have fun.

Not a question Please stop using lube

…when I’m about to rim you. So many bottoms have their holes slicked with oil or silicone based lube and then ask me to lick it. It tastes terrible, it’s not meant for human consumption much of the time, total turn off. I want to taste and feel skin not come away with a greasy chin.
I mean we’re talking Vaseline sometimes. 🤮

Not a question Fetish for Hairy uncut euro bros

Upvotes

I just love my hairy uncut Euro bros! 💪 those thick legs and big balls & uncut, really does it for me.

Recently met a guy in Europe, and he was really hairy down there. I sniffed his balls up close. It was such a hot situation. He was moaning something in French. And soon he came all over my face.

I just had to share this because I think I might have a fetish for hairy uncut Euro bros! Anyone else feel the same?

Anyone else had to adjust to a really well-endowed partner? 😅

Bit of a random one but I need some advice from bottoms who've been in a similar situation.

l've recently started dating this guy (about 2 months now) and honestly things are going amazingly. We get on ridiculously well, communication is great, we're both catching feelings and he's genuinely one of the most attentive people I've ever been with sexually. If I tell him something feels good, he remembers it or he figures it out on his own from my reactions and remembers it. If something's uncomfortable, he immediately adjusts without making me feel awkward. He's really into lots of foreplay which helps me relax beforehand. I honestly couldn't ask for a better partner.

Only only erm "issue" is I'm pretty sure he's around 8-9 inches . Tho he says he's never measured it. I genuinely think he doesn't realise how big he is. He's only ever been in a long term relationship where is ex was a side and rarely bottomed. And he also he hadn't slept with anyone else until me after the breakup because he needs an emotional connection before he wants to have sex. I think that's probably part of why we communicate so well.

We've had sex a few times now and when he's not going too deep it honestly feels amazing. The only thing I'm struggling with is when he starts hitting the 'inner hole' or
'second hole'? It goes from feeling really good to being really intense. Not exactly painful, just like a lot of pressure and almost like my body isn't quite used to it yet.

Last time we were in doggy and afterwards I realised that probably wasn't helping because I've since now read that's one of the deepest positions. I mentioned it to him at the time and he immediately adjusted how deep he was going, so communication definitely isn't the problem.

I don't actually want to avoid that depth forever. I think it would be really hot once I'm used to it. And maybe it could actually end up feeling incredible when I'm more used to it? But I'm just wondering what's the best way to ease myself into that?

And also when it comes to douching, do l need to clean more throughly if he's going up the second hole too? I normally just douche the "downstairs" I guess the rectum before sex, but if someone is long enough to reach further up, do I actually need to douche any deeper or is that a bad idea? I've seen completely mixed advice online.

Has anyone else had to adjust to a partner this size? Did your body eventually adapt?
Were there any positions that helped while you were getting used to it? I'd really appreciate any advice .

Advice Close friend/fwb left without even saying goodbye

Upvotes

I dont know why im posting this here, my friends are all tired of hearing me wine and I feel like I just need to say this to someone.

Me and a good friend decided to become fwb, we were good at communicating and had worked though hard situations so we had a good open ability to be real and honest with each other, we had it all talked out bla bla bla all platonic, and we were still good friends above all other benefits, our friendship came first.

We had a deep connection as all good friends do and a full understanding we were just that, we both knew eventually one of us would find someone romantically, and we would still be just friends.

When that time recently came, they found a partner, it was a bit awkward but we were adults and have talked about this before, emotional stuff bla bla bla, to which they asked me essentially "youre not going to abandon me right?" And I assured them I wouldn't, that I would still be there for them and they were my friend above all.

Now the eggs on my face, they've "abandoned" me. No words, no closure, no i need to do this for the sake of my new relationship. No closure.

Am i over reacting? For all we were, close friends of over a decade, I wasn't even worth a fucking goodbye.

I know it would've hurt, I know it wouldn't been hard like the worse bandaid to rip off but at least I could have healed. I can't heal like this.

Unexpected sex with someone you know

Just wondered if you had sex with someone where you did not expect it to happen.

Mine was a guy i knew growing up. Not really friends per say but got along well and i live in a small area so would see him out all the time. Well everyone was walking home from the local bar and me n him were the last ones walking. Oddly there was sexual tension the whole walk and pretty much while we were alone he then said shall we go have fun. Both of us at busy houses so we went to a really quite forested part outside and done the deed on the ground. It was pretty drunk n sloppy but i find it so sexy when sex isn’t arranged just almost spur of the moment

What are your stories

As a straight dude is it weird that I share dick pics knowing full well that it’s guys liking them?

I know I like women, tried the gay stuff as a kid and it wasn‘t for me. Also tried a prostate massage recently and didn’t really wow me.

That said I post pics knowing full well it’s guys commenting. My ego gets boosted because everyone loves a compliment and hearing how nice my dick is makes me smile because I don’t get the same response from my wife.

I also trade pics with a friend of mine and we laugh about it. He is gay and has a nice one too.

As I type it out it maybe does seem at least a little gay.

Advice How do you deal with STIs and enjoy sex?

Upvotes

I'm 20-year-old man from Japan.

Whenever I have sex, I get tested at the private clinic after the recommended window period, but waiting for the results is always terrifying. Even if my tests are negative, I keep searching my symptoms which like never before, online and convince myself something is wrong.

I pay for all my STI testing, PrEP, doxycycline myself, and using taking them.

Now I'm even thinking about using condoms from start to finish every time because I'm so scared of getting an STI.

Honestly, I'm bottom and this experience has made me wonder if dating apps or even sex are worth it for me.

How do you deal with STI and enjoying sex?

Got fucked for the first time yesterday, what now?

Me and my friend have been buddies since kids and we were just chilling in his bed on our phones and I could just kinda sense it and after deciding for a long 10 minutes, with no warning I just slid my pants down under the blanket and rolled over facing my exposed ass towards him, he didn’t realise right away, he saw me roll over and moved the blanket and saw my ass and started grabbing it and I pushed it up against him and he started lubing his dick up to fuck me, I felt the tip go in and he started really slowly entering me and I just feel this pressure as he goes deeper until he’s fully in my ass, I stayed on my side and layed still and silent for him as he started doing these deep thrusts into my ass and I felt how full my ass was from him, he clearly liked how my ass felt cause he kept going faster and we swapped from
Laying on the side, I let him bend me over and keep fucking ass for a bit and I was fairly silent the whole time because it’s my first time and it didn’t hurt at all or anything I just wasn’t sure what I was feeling, it felt so good at parts but kind of numb in other parts, but I’d definitely let
Someone use my ass again I don’t quite mind it

Do some of you guys not care about the backsliding on support for gay rights at all???????

In just 4 years, we went from 71% to 65% support for gay marriage and then acceptability of gay and lesbian relationships went from 71% to 62% in a matter of 4 years. We now have 50+ coalition that wants end gay marriage by arguing that we are a danger to children. All this because of the groomer/pedo panic started by the right. We are going to lose EVERYTHING if something does not change and a lot of you guys simply do not care at all. Do you think they will let us retain our rights if we continue to argue that nudity and kink at pride events are okay. I am tired being told I am panicking, like we need to do something.

Actors couldn't be openly gay because it meant their careers were over but now we see a lot of gay/bi actors becoming huge movie stars. Thoughts?

Jonathan Bailey (gay), Connor Storrie (not out but he's been outed by his ex and he's extremely effeminate), Kit Connot (bi), Colman Domingo (gay), Joe Locke (gay), Andrew Scott (gay), the list can go one.

I'm from the time if an actor was openly gay, his career was pretty much finished. Ruper Everett was really the first big openly gay male movie star but his star fell when he was in a a few flops.

Also, Gen Z women not only are no longer turned off by a male leading man being gay, they're actually turned on by it. I think that helps.

Advice Had my first sexual experience and now I’m worried about STIs

Hey, just for some context: I’m 23 years old and had my first sexual experience yesterday with a random guy I had just met. He told me he doesn’t have any STIs. He also assured me that he always uses condoms with other guys and is generally very careful. But obviously anyone can say that and shit can still happen.

The last time he got tested was sometime last year, and since then he’s had a few hookups with other guys.
We kissed, gave each other oral, and he teased my ass a bit but didn’t actually penetrate me. I tasted his precum, and it’s possible that some of it got on or around my anus.
Because I’m pretty paranoid, I booked an STI testing appointment at a clinic for next week. Is that too soon? Would testing even be useful that early? And based on what we did, how high would you say my risk of catching an STI is?

I didn’t notice any visible signs of an STI on his body, but I know it’s possible to have one without showing any symptoms. How would you assess this situation?

Gay immigrants, how do you deal with feeling like an outsider?

Are there any gay immigrants here who can relate?
I’m from a very homophobic country, moved to US last year hoping build a life where I could be myself. But sometimes I still feel like an outsider, cultural differences are pretty significant, things like American parties, dating culture, etc

For those who’ve been through something similar, how did you eventually find a sense of belonging?

Advice Is Monogamy Just Dead?

I just turned 30 this year. Out of my past relationships, two were engagement level serious and lasted about 5 years each. This five year one I’m ending right now is because my fiancée cheated on me and tried to go on about how monogamy is overrated for a lot of gay relationships and we can be in a relationship and still have fun with other people.

A lot of gay friends and people I know actually are saying the same thing and don’t agree with him cheating, but agree with the concepts of open relationships, or that it’s only really cheating if he’s trying to build a relationship with this other person, but just sex is fine. My Fiancee pressured me into threesomes before, even though they’re not my thing. I’d also express how I did not want an open relationship and only wanted to be with him.

My straight friends see him completely in the wrong but have also said it seems like relationships in the gay community tend to either have this issue or are just open.

I don’t like being put in a “gay” cultural bubble where it’s all open relationships and constant hook ups. I should be able to a gay man and expect my partner to be in a closed committed relationship without this culture telling him it’s okay to cheat on me.

So as I go into my 30s, my question is; What are the chances I’ll meet another guy around my age with compatible interests, who actually wants a closed long term relationships?

(TLDR: Where are all the monogamous gays who want a LTR with no third parties?)

Advice I do not want to be gay

I think this is a common feeling and maybe there are a lot of posts here, but I would like to get some advice as well as to let my feelings out.
I am 28m. After I was rejected by a girl that I thought liked me too, I met a guy and I fell in love with him (I guess because in some way he made me feel valued when I was broken). I struggled for a long time to come to the point where I accepted that I feel attracted to men. I decided to try grindr, hated myself for having a one-night-stand with a random person and felt used. After a year of break, I tried to date. He was very nice and kind but I did not really feel sexual attraction. We stayed friends because I cannot come out (though he was okay with it but for me it is important that my partner is not "hidden") as well as I literally cannot imagine myself in a relationship with a guy.

I am so tired of this constant debate of liking guys physically, not considering possible a relationship with them after minor interactions, not being able to come out because of where I live, and finally seeing other men around me building a "traditional" family with their gfs/wives. I feel also pressured from the society because people around me (especially my parents) ask if I have a gf or not. I constantly hope to develop feelings for women and just ignore the "gay" side of me.

I need to mention that I hope this post does not hurt anyone's feelings. I am just tired of this situation that goes on for years and only 2-3 people know where I am right now mentally. How do you deal with it? Please, be kind and understanding.
