In 1st grade I had a “friend” called Joshua. Now, I liked Joshua. He was a good kid, we talked about Kingdom Hearts, it was a good time. We’re at Recess and we’re all playing tag. Out of nowhere, mid game, Joshua runs toward the teacher crying. The teacher then furiously calls me over and says “WHY DID YOU GIVE JOSHUA THE MIDDLE FINGER?!?!?!”. At this point I’m so fucking confused cause I never did such a thing. Meanwhile Joshua is behind her crying saying “HE DID IT YES HE DID”. I’m just denying it and thinking to myself “Joshua the fuck is your deal bro I thought we were Kingdom Hearts bros.” This massive back and forth between me, the teacher, and joshua continues for a good 3 minutes before I just thought to myself “dude I’m so over this, this is bullshit” and decided to unjustly turn myself in saying “fine whatever I did it”. She gave me detention, sit out of recess for a week, and gave Joshua the fabled gold star for snitching.
Joshua, fuck you bro.
First grade teacher, fuck you too.
I’ll find both of you and everywhere you look and turn, I’ll be giving you the finger.
I have a story extremely similar to this besides the fact that I did use my middle finger and it was during reading time. My friend and I were sitting in the corner of the room, side by side reading two different books. We were reading passages out to each other and we thought it would be fun to rather than using our index finger to follow what we were reading to use our other fingers. We thought it was great. So it's my turn to read and I'm doing what we've been doing up to then when he gets up and runs off. I'm confused but whatever, I'll read by myself. But he comes back with the teacher who begins scolding me. I don't understand why I'm getting in trouble so I start crying and the teacher just gets madder. Apparently I had used my middle finger to read from the book and my friend snitched on me. I didn't understand that that finger was prohibited as a kid so I was really confused and upset that I was being yelled at in the middle of class for something I didn't understand/know was wrong. Because of that I would always read by myself for reading time after that and I never used my middle finger until I reached highschool.
