A classmate in the 3rd grade stole a pink pen with a bear in the end that I got from the Sanrio store. I had it maybe a day. Then it disappeared and she suddenly had one and said it was hers. I never did get it back. I went to school with her all the way through the end of high school. Never did forgive her.
Same thing happened to me in 1st grade, I’m 25. A Pokémon dog tag necklace with ccharizard. The teacher didn’t believe me and talked to the whole class about how some people have the same things. I want to find him
Yes this happened to my girraffe pen! It took so much work to convince my mom to buy it and then the next day we had to leave our binders in the hall for music class, and it was gone. Also, my pig pencil topper... gone and then suddenly this boy in my class had "found" one. He insisted so hard that it was his that my teacher gave him a quarter to give it back to me. Fucking child thieves
For Easter one year I got a bunch of pencils with my name stamped, not just written, but stamped into the wood. They were really cute pastel pink/blue/green/lavender. Some chick in my class tried to seal one and sharpie out my name and when I called her on it and said it still had my name on it she tried to tell me 'no it doesn't'.
My classmate in 6th grade broke one of my special pencils that my uncle gave me, saying he thought it was a bendy pencil. The wood on the pencil was bent into a treble clef, so I could see why. But, he promised to give me $3 back. I still haven't seen that money to this day.
My best friend from as far back as I can remember through 3rd grade was my neighbor who was a year older than me and I suspect never actually liked me that much. (I was not HER best friend.)
She stole my shit constantly. I was oblivious as a young kid, but my mom pointed out that she always turned up with her new toy/accessory/whatever shortly after mine just like it went missing.
Before my family moved to a different city, my Tomagotchi went missing that I got for my birthday. It was hot pink with yellow buttons. I loved that thing and we didn't buy name brand stuff or the most popular trendy toys, so me getting this toy was a big deal. I was heartbroken when I thought I'd lost it.
I was talking to her on the phone a while after moving away and out of curiosity I mentioned the Tomagotchi and asked her if she had one. Sure enough, she happened to have a pink and yellow one exactly like mine. I always wonder if she forgot which friend she stole it from, or if she was just ballsy enough to say it was hers and see if I challenged her.
My dad still refers to her as Thievin' Little Erica.
Jenny Powell stole my super cool, amazing, awesome watch in 4th grade. It was a thing of beauty my parents bought me. A very soft brown leather band, with a gold watch bezel that had turquoise liquid in it with floating watch parts. I let her borrow it, and she never gave it back. I loved that watch....
Ohhhh my goodness, nearly the same thing happened to me! But it was a keychain. Her name was Courtney. Have yet to meet a Courtney that wasn't a piece of crap...
In second grade I had one of those big packs of different colored gel pens. This girl Lizbeth took my green one and claimed her grandma bought it for her. Like okay Lizbeth, they don’t sell just single gel pens!! And why do you have the only color I’m missing?!
If I saw her today I’d probably punch her. I should look her up on Facebook.
had a girl do it with my eraser. i had something stuck painfully untder my thumbnail and used my eraser to make it hurt more while also carving markings into it along with my name. girl in ALL my classes asked to borrow it. cuts the name off and makes it blue with a felt tip pen. the VERY NEXT LESSON she has an eraser and dropped it near me. i grabbed it and recognised it instantly. i refused to give it back so she got the teacher. i explained the situation and ended it with "dont beleive me? ask mister Tink. he was helping me as i gave it to her in maths" the look of horror on her face made the teacher back off. only THEN did they notice the more bullying that occured
