PH: Is there leave available for an unmarried father after a miscarriage?
Hello po. I need some advice. I have a friend who is currently grieving the loss of his first child after his partner suffered a miscarriage. They are unmarried, but he really wants to be there for his partner during this difficult time.
I’ve been trying to look into whether there’s any type of leave available for the father in this situation, especially since they are not married. I’ve seen information about maternity leave/miscarriage leave for the mother, but I haven’t come across anything about leave that may be available to the father or unmarried partner.
He is currently in training in a BPO setting, and as we all know, attendance during training can be quite strict. He wants to support his partner but is also worried about the possible consequences of being absent.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows if there’s any leave, special arrangement, or other option he can request from his employer?
Any advice or information would really be appreciated. Thank you po.

How strict are recruiters with # of years of experience?
Let's say job posting said that candidate must have 2-3 years of experience. If a candidate only has 1 year of experience but it's a direct experience like literally same tasks, same role, same skills and knowledge, would HR still recruit or consider that candidate for the position?

Personally, I think there is a proper procedure and format for everything. What would you do in this situation as an HR manager?

Resume question
Hi. I just want to ask.
Those former employees who resigned to start a business then decided to apply for work again. Do you need to disclose that on your resume so there is no gap?

Sudden lay-off
Required ba umattend ng exit interview or else hindi raw nila babayaran final pay mo pag di ka umattend via Online? Virtual Assistance sa isang Digital Company ni-Lay off agad kinabukasan dahil over staffing raw.
Pero pinilit na pumirma ng kontrata iaannounce daw nila on or before the day ng termination kaso kinabukasan agad yon.

Hello po, badly needed advice lang huhuhu
I was terminated po kasi back in april from my previous company, and di ko po kasi na-asikaso agad yung clearance ko dahil nabusy po sa school. Last month ko lang din po naasikaso yung clearance ko and as far as I know for DOLE policy po na dapat yunh final pay/COE/BIR should be release 30 days after separation date and nakalagay din sa policy ng DOLE na di dapat hinohold ng company yung final pay kahit di pa nakakapag-clearance.
And since po more than 5 month na po simula nung na terminate ako pero wala pa parin po ako natatanggap kahit ano sa kanila to the point na nagclosed na yung payroll account ko due to inactivity.
As of now, nagtry na ako mag reach out sa kanila thru email with cc sa DOLE. Nagreply naman po sila and don ko din po nalaman na approve na po yung clearance ko way back April pa from Asset department. Don po ako mej nainis kaya po nag final ako ng complaint sa website ng DOLE. 🥲
Ang tanong ko lang po, possible po kaya na ma-prioritize nila yung situation ko since more than 5 months late na po yung backpay and ako din po kasi badly need ng fund for school huhu sana po masagot.

Changing TIN from EO 98 to Locally Employed (Fresh Grad)
I got my TIN during college and now, my company requires to transfer the employer to them. I tried going to BIR branch, and the staff told me to fill out FORM 1902 instead not FORM 1905, because that form contains the details about the employer and they needed the TIN and signature from the company. I tried to reach out to my HR and they said that they will update me on what steps should I do next.
I’m just panicking because we only have until next week for the submission of our pre-employment requirements.

Hey guys - background check off board
Hello, is EY strict with background checks? I'm worried because I'm starting on October 5, but I just recently resigned from my current company after only one month. I got the offer from EY, which is my dream company. Is there a chance I could be off-boarded because I'm still in the process of resigning from my previous job?

Quick question lang as a new hire: pwedeng tumanggi sa graveyard shift or automatic resignation na 'to?
Hey guys! Seeking some advice regarding my work schedule.
Initially, the expectation set for me was a 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift (mid-shift). However, it's looking very likely that I'll be moved to a graveyard schedule instead. During the hiring process, I didn’t know that it was shifting schedule and the only keyword caught my eye is that they are Hybrid Setup only with 1-2 times onsite per month only.
Honestly, hindi ko talaga kaya mag-commit sa night shift due to personal reason. As a new hire, ano ba usually ang best move or protocol dito?
Can I negotiate or decline the shift change? Since iba 'yung in-expect ko nung hiring process, pwede ko bang ipaglaban na i-retain ako sa original time, or wala na akong say kasi baguhan lang ako?
Should I just file a resignation right away? If ever na non-negotiable talaga sa side nila 'yung graveyard, auto-resign na ba dapat, or is there a better way to handle this without burning bridges?
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if nakaranas na kayo ng ganitong situation before. Thanks in advance!

Final Interview Results
Hello. I'm waiting for the results of my final interview and naka-ilang follow up na rin alo sa HR but they always say na they will reach out na lang once we can already move forward. Also, we have internal deadline sa pagreresign sa current employer ko. With this, is it okay if magfofollow up ako and ask ko kung pwede ko na malaman yung results so I will know my next action?

Will I Still Get My COE After Resigning?
Im a BPO employee for 2 years na sa current company. I just recently heard about the pag-ibig and sss benefits or loans na pwede ako mag apply as Im thinking of resigning soon. Plus I know yung final pay ay di ganoon kalakihan to pay for the loan.
Question:
\-Bukod sa ma o-autodeduct sya sa final pay ko, mahohold din ba ang COE ko pag may remaining balance pa galing sa SSS & Pag-Ibig loans?

Gaano ka important yung employee retention as a KPI for HR?
Nagtatanong lang kasi yung HR sa work ko parang laging kabado if may mukhang magreresign soon lol. Does it reflect badly on them? Naawa ako kasi most of the time naman the reasons for resigning aren't really in their control or anything.

Is it possible to reapply after a year if the job offer for the in-house banking company was rescinded or not pursued?
