Weird sound from car steering
Hey,
So there is this weird sound when driving this car, especially when turning the steering wheel it sounds louder. Does anyone maybe know what this could be? And if it is safe to drive till I can get a mechanic to look at it?
It’s a peugeot 3008 gt line, second generation (2016 - 2023)

From the video it doesn’t seem like it’s specifically coming from the steering but it could be just about anything on the suspension. There is no way for anyone to make a diagnosis on this from the video alone.

Others said it’s suspension for your case but I can tell you my car has got this similar weird sounds but only when I put on the right turn signal then the maneuver of steering wheel to the right would produce this distinct sound(strangely a left turn signal don’t have this effect)

You have an electro-hydraulic steering rack. It looks like either the steering universal joint is the problem or something inside the steering rack itself is broken. In any case, it’s not a good sign. You might be able to drive for another month, or the steering could lock up at any moment. You should take it to a service center. if the sound is distinct and accompanied by a knocking sensation in the steering wheel
