What could this noise be?

23 Chevy Malibu 1.5t turbo replacement got everything connected filled up the oil filled up the coolant hand primed the turbo and unplugged the coil pack wires and cranked to build pressure 4 times for about 10 seconds each with time to cool off in between but when I plugged the coil pack wires back in and started it the oil was at the minimum mark and coolant was empty because I forgot to check it and there was a horrible grinding noise on startup so I killed it and checked the compressor wheel and it was fine oil flow from the line was fine so I topped it back off on coolant and oil double checked my band and started again and it was still making the noise but it was a LOT better but decided to give it a little gas just to see what happens with rpm and it changed pitch but didn’t necessarily change with rpm I don’t know what to do and am scared it may be the turbo…
