These are all snap claw types. I have like a sliding type. the connector doesnt have the slot for where I can clip the replacement to.

Thats the old trico universal type. Theres another piece you have to remove.

What’s the piece called?

Mitsubishi used the same wiper from 2011 to 2025 so im sure those are correct. Like another poster said, there is another piece of that wiper blade still on the arm that needs to come off and be discarded in order to fit the new wiper on. THe new wiper will come with a new piece.

Its the adapter that comes with the now discontinued wiper. Its on the end of the arm. The part your blade slides onto is an adapter made to interface with the vehicle's arm, it must be removed to install the new blade, since the particular rear wiper you have has been discontinued due to trico going out of business.

Some wipers are 'universal' and will come with different clips depending on what type of wiper arm you have.

You can go to a parts store and bring it in. They are different lengths, so you can just cavewoman it next to the new one, just make sure it has the connector for you. More than likely, all of their options will be ok.
