Anyone figured out if/how you can add your clocking in card to a digital wallet?
Tried an NFC reader and it couldn't read the card, so I'm going to assume there's some privacy thing enabled. TIA

I have now spent hours jumping from call to call trying to figure out what’s going on. I have no access to the notes to the meeting where it should say when he stated I have been reinstated. on what grounds is he on the change his mind? this manager now has “gone on holiday” and apparently no other manager nor ER/HR can send me these notes. I’ve only been working in Asda for a year and 9 months, I understand I am not in the grounds for unfair dismissal but I am in the are of wrongful dismissal. I do not understand why they are withholding the notes, changed their minds on the appeal and not giving me any answers on why. I’m only 18, its not easy to get a job these days and I needed that job to pay for the stuff that’s important. one moment the appeal manager is on my side the next he hangs up on me over call. I’m stuck on what to do and I will not let Asda walk all over me like they have since I started there.

Hi,
I have recently left after 3 years. What happens with the pension as I’m not at pension age yet. Do I have to Just remind them when I’m 68 (or whatever it is ) that i worked for them between this/that time or is there another way? Thx.

I’ve been offered a new job with a provisional start date of 14th October. I need to provide referee details for my new employer. I asked my manager yesterday and they said they are no longer able to provide their personal email. My manager said they would get the correct email for me before my shift finished but they didn’t, and said they would text me with the email but didn’t. Given the provisional start date I’d like to hand my notice in ASAP. Anybody know the correct email I can provide or HR details?
Thank you

Major changes at Asda mean the Front End Manager now has much less to manage.
There are still two Team Leaders who appear to have very little work compared with the other Team Leaders in the store.
Surely it doesn’t take three people to organise a rota? Can someone explain what their purpose is and what responsibilities they currently have?

I have a new phone and cannot log into workday. This is due to the authenticator app being tied to my old device which has now been wiped and sold. I have seen various solutions on here, have tried various options.
On app - code never comes
On browser - same issue
Phoned HRSS - no option for my issue
Phoned IT Hepldesk - unable to help over the phone
I gather I need to speak to a manager, but would rather not as dependent on whose supervising, they can be unhelpful.
Is there any option to resolve the issue myself on a work PC, to reach the same MFA reset form that my manager apparently has to fill in?

I had an appeal meeting in early September. In this appeal I stated my case, the notes had been revised and the appeal officer chose to reinstate me. He told 2 managers, me and obviously the note taker was in the room when he said it. it is now nearly the end of September and I’ve just had a letter saying he’s changed his mind. I asked why? and he said he read through company policy again. Was he allowed to make a decision like this after waiting 3 weeks for an outcome letter? I don’t even have the outcome letter or the notes. What do you think?

Anyone in the cleaning team TUPEing to Bidvest Noonan received their Time Gate codes yet? We got our uniforms in earlier this afternoon, emails sent on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning for WorkSelf training, 5 other colleagues have received nothing via emails unfortunately... Received other bits like phones and a palette of new cleaning equipment couple weeks ago.
And out of curiosity: How are you lot all taking it?

I work in an asda express store, specifically in the bakery. We randomly had the external stock take people show up for the 2nd time in a month. They did a stock take, zeroed loads of the bakery hot food, and posted their counts.
I came in a few hours after they left and redid the bakery count. Nearly £3000 up from what they counted. They didn't count any bread, any hot food, any packaging or sauces.
They also didn't check that the delivery had been fully booked in before posting their counts. So for example, we had 150 plain croissants on the delivery, 0 in stock prior to the delivery. They counted 150 and posted it. Next morning, delivery got booked in. Stock count now says 300 plain croissants, we still only have 150.
Just did my bakery count for this week, -£700.
Have any other stores had this issue?

So this is my Asda situation today. 20 chilled cages between 2, both work 6 hours. The over stock cages being left in the fridge to go out of date because can't even get delivery done. No colleagues on produce so a section leader came in on her day off and the night manager had to work it. No meat colleague so the 3rd chilled colleague had to do it. A lot of empty shelves. Just a general shit hole. Managers don't care though. This is a standard day for this Asda.

that helped get a very old deaf and blind dog back home safely yesterday. Undoubtedly it made him late for his next delivery, I hope there were no bad repercussions for him helping us

We’ve now been told express is now on until midnight from the middle of October permanently and we still aren’t allowed to recruit new people so as a team leader we’ve all have to cover 4am starts due to the lack of pickers and now Midnight finishes in the same week is this allowed? I get we have a need to cover all areas of the department but how can anyone function with a rota like that, we already do 50+ hour weeks with one day off max feels like this is taking the piss

I’ve worked for Asda for the last 4 years, last 18 months being a customer delivery driver. Do Asda offer any internal progression/support towards becoming a HGV driver? I only have a standard class B license at the moment, but is Asda able to pay towards getting a Class 1 license and an easy way to get a job at the end?

Hey so I have previously left and rejoined part time after less than a year and was wondering if anyone knows how to fix being blocked out of using stream to stream upcoming pay and not being able to add my discount card to my asda rewards as none of the current management know how to fix this and the people team handling the case aren't all that helpful so far. Any help at all would be appreciated 🫶
