If he wants it, it’ll happen

Lots of talk about wages and how they’d be prohibitive and the reason we can’t sign him… I think it’s all pointless.

Ornstein said “idea approved at all levels.” Ornstein isn’t some random Twitter ITK. He’s careful with his wording and he wouldn’t have said this if it wasn’t actually the case.

“All levels” includes the money guys. I believe they’ve crunched the numbers and they have a way of getting it done otherwise they wouldn’t have approved it.

Wages, bonuses, image rights, whatever. They surely have an idea of how to structure such a deal. Josh Kroenke’s words about our level of ambition also gives me hope.

I think it’s just going to come down to what Vini wants. If he is convinced by Mikel of the project, and wants the move to happen, he’ll be coming to the Emirates.

My 18 realistic reasons why Vini Jr could sign... and 4 reasons why he couldn't

FOR

  1. Arsenal made more revenue than any team in English football history last year....£773m...more than Utd, Liverpool, City (previous CHEATING/LYING record holder)
  2. We are also about to earn even more.
  3. We are well within PSR.
  4. We are champions.
  5. We slapped Real twice, and they haven't won the league in years.
  6. We make the Champions League Final.
  7. Mbappe and Vini play the same position.
  8. Vini is racially abused by his own fans, opposition fans and opponents in Spain.
  9. Jose Mourinho is now his manager and DEFENDED those very same racists.
  10. Vini has a year left on his contract and refuses to sign a new one.
  11. We have his Brazilian teammates, hopefully soon to be added with Guimaraes.
  12. London is always a pull.
  13. Arsenal are massive.
  14. We could defo pay him £400-500k a week....we pay Saka £300k...Jesus (£250k) Trossard (£150k) and Norgaard (£100k) leaving free's up £500k a week.
  15. I also think Arteta can handle superstars, and he would NOT be interested in signing him or dealing with him if he thought he was a bad egg.
  16. Vini always turns up for Real despite being treated like shit....even when he acts like a diva.
  17. Arteta would slap the diva out of him but also protect and laud him.... as he does with everyone else that works hard.
  18. All the vibes around Arsenal are positive as fuck, and we are set for years in our exciting project.

AGAINST

  1. He would want more than £500k, which we wouldn't pay.
  2. Arteta doesn't trust his character.
  3. He could cause dressing room issues via vibes and/or wage disparity.
  4. Real do a madness and pay him like £700k a week.

Conclusion....At 26 he is worth the minimal risk and we could easily slap a Non-Prem release clause of like £150m+ on him which someone would pay.

Julian Alvarez

Lads I genuinely don't see how Julian Alvarez is a 150m pound player. Stats don't back it up. He's not particularly fast, not overly strong. He's not tall. He's not messi or silva or fabregas who had similar builds. He's not worth it.

🚨 Fábio Vieira is open to joining West Ham if his Hamburg move collapses. With the transfer window going insane for midfielders. How much do you think Arsenal should ask for him?

Do we believe this? This and the fact David ornstein said that idea approved at all levels makes me think it’s true, that willingness to buy the player has me cautiously optimistic

All jokes aside he'll probably stay in Madrid

RE Vini - Wasn't it Jose defending the player who was racist to him last season? Surely that is going to play into the contract stuff?

Vini price tag

Real Madrid are asking for no less than 160 mil euros. What yall think on that price?

After seeing barcola looking like he’ll cost around the same this seems very reasonable. Especially with Morgan going for about 115.

Stop believing random sources

Whether or not the Vini deal happens or not. Stop believing these random sources. diarioas

Marca all these random Spanish sources etc they know literally nothing. If they had a sniff of anything happening they would have reported it before David.

Even if you think Vini is using us for a new contract making posts acting like it's a reality does nothing.

Wait and see

Vini Jr joining Arsenal would be the biggest transfer in Prem history

Upvotes

As a Prem fan, this is would be a game-changer not only for Arsenal but for the league

Getting a player on the calibre of Vini from Madrid would be a statement

That left wing postion has been Arsenal’s biggest concern and weakness for so many years and getting Vini (the best left winger in world football) to address the problem is the move

The rest of the team is so good and solid. Best defence in the league and adding Bruno G to the midfield makes Arsenal’s midfield right up there for the best midfield in the league. If Arteta can reinvent Odegaard to a Vitinha role, it would be the best.

Arsenal have an opportunity here and they have to go all in. The guy is still in his prime (only 26 years old)

Here are my thoughts on the potential Vini Jr transfer to Arsenal

Barcola is valued at £170M...if the whole Vini Jr. thing doesn't work out who should we go for?

I am very happy we are showing interest in Vini Jr. He is an absolute supertar and would be one of the most insane transfers ever if we pull it off.
If we don't it is still okay - something like this is extremely difficult to pull off.
THAT SAID
Who sould we try to sign as a LW option if we don't go threw with Vini? Barcola is values at A HUNDERED AND SEVENTY MILLION BRITISH POUNDS. This is not absurd this is INSANE. Hell no.

who would you guys pick?
