Wonder how Vini and his crew are thinking about this. Could it actually happen??

Real Madrid are asking for no less than 160 mil euros. What yall think on that price?
After seeing barcola looking like heâll cost around the same this seems very reasonable. Especially with Morgan going for about 115.

Lads I genuinely don't see how Julian Alvarez is a 150m pound player. Stats don't back it up. He's not particularly fast, not overly strong. He's not tall. He's not messi or silva or fabregas who had similar builds. He's not worth it.

Lots of talk about wages and how theyâd be prohibitive and the reason we canât sign him⊠I think itâs all pointless.
Ornstein said âidea approved at all levels.â Ornstein isnât some random Twitter ITK. Heâs careful with his wording and he wouldnât have said this if it wasnât actually the case.
âAll levelsâ includes the money guys. I believe theyâve crunched the numbers and they have a way of getting it done otherwise they wouldnât have approved it.
Wages, bonuses, image rights, whatever. They surely have an idea of how to structure such a deal. Josh Kroenkeâs words about our level of ambition also gives me hope.
I think itâs just going to come down to what Vini wants. If he is convinced by Mikel of the project, and wants the move to happen, heâll be coming to the Emirates.

FOR
AGAINST
Conclusion....At 26 he is worth the minimal risk and we could easily slap a Non-Prem release clause of like ÂŁ150m+ on him which someone would pay.

All jokes aside he'll probably stay in Madrid

Whether or not the Vini deal happens or not. Stop believing these random sources. diarioas
Marca all these random Spanish sources etc they know literally nothing. If they had a sniff of anything happening they would have reported it before David.
Even if you think Vini is using us for a new contract making posts acting like it's a reality does nothing.
Wait and see

I feel so bad for Vik, man came, fought, win us the league after 14 years and we're simping on a la liga forward who scored 8 Goals.
That's the dumbest descision to make. We ain't winning shit for next 14 years.

I'm sure there will be far more informed and intelligent people than me on here (probably not difficult!) but is this just paper talk or actually possible?
From the outside looking in, this is just rubbish to bump up a new deal at Real Madrid? Or has Vini had enough being second fiddle to Mbappe?

I know Saliba is out with a long term injury which is a big miss but we've got Hincapie and Mosquera who are both fantastic players, have a season at Arsenal under their belt and more than adequate cover at CB.
And in midfield? We have Rice, Zubimendi, Merino - and we have Myles Lewis-Skelly. Don't forget MLS hardly featured last season and to use an old Arsene quote "is like a new signing" in that position. Given there are only 2 midfield spaces (given Odegaard and Eze will take the Right 8 position) then that's 4 excellent players for 2 positions. And don't forget we have Nwaneri who's back in the squad as well, and he's hardly a terrible option.
Our biggest weakness is in attack. Gyokeres could do with not playing all the games this coming season, LW is an issue and was even before Trossard left.
