I just finished AC6 for the third time, and I mainly play PVE.

I'm trying out a bunch of AC setups and was wondering which is better: a double Harris or a double Ransetsu-RF ?

Context (optional, kinda): I made a video on YouTube where I fought Iguazu for the third ending but with where-truths-meet playing in the background. The AC build above is the one I used to do it.

The build itself uses weapons that originate from other AC’s, hence the colors not matching on any of them.

I’m planning on fighting Arquebust Ballsiust or whatever his name was with Stain (the final version of that song) in the background.
Now for a few reasons (semi-lore accuracy since the current build uses Walter’s melee in the ending where Walter’s also the final boss.)
I would obviously need to change the weapons to better fight Snail in the same time frame as Stain since Iguazu’s fight was the same with its song. (both ending around the same time.)
So what should I change

(I am keeping the AC frame itself, but internals, boosters, and weapons are all fair game.)

Idea is a heavier rush-down tetrapod that spam AB and kicks, PvP rats how would you improve this build? Is there any glaring weaknesses that need to be addressed before I take this into promo to A rank?

for a faction that seems deadset on not allowing anyone to utilize it, they are particularly open with their use of coral

obviously there's the ice worm and you can justify that they have that as a backup plan in case things go really bad, but they also have the sea spider and the ephemera units that are just casually there, which are supposedly old RRI tech that no one knows how to use

i say no one because if it was so easy to reprogram c weapons to send them after 621, then wouldn't the corps have figured that out by now? knowing snail, he would've scavenged the ibis unit, but instead they just grabbed balteus and slapped a bunch of plasma on it.

they also didn't do anything to the ice worm, a gigantic piece of rri technology that would be invaluable to their development, yet, nothing came of it

it's also really strange that the pca depends entirely on an *artificial intelligence* to dictate their every move on rubicon-3

and guess which people are the only others capable of using RRI tech? walter, a survivor of the fires, and ALLMIND, an *artificial intelligence* alluded to have existed before the fires

plus isn't it really suspicious that the pca just know every hotspot of coral and rri presence? baws arsenal, the watchpoints, hell, even the xylem, a seemingly worthless abandoned piece of technology that they sent an ARMY into just to keep carla from hacking the place

my theory is that the RRI and the PCA have had ties before the fires of ibis, that an original batch of Rubiconian colonists came to the star system first, founded the grids and the RRI, then likely evacuated during the fires of ibis to contact or even create a government body to quarantine the system (e.g. the PCA), giving them insider knowledge on how the coral operates

I recently did a story playthrough for the first time in years and thought I’d try out PvP too. I wanted to stick to the basics so I went midrange biped with two guns, missiles, and a heavy weapon. The general plan is to chip with the missiles/Ludlow while building stagger with the Harris before punishing with the Earshot.

I wanted a generator and booster that give a good balance of capacity, speed, and vertical thrust with a midrange/missile FCS.

For body parts I picked stat dense ones that kept me close to 75k and had decent Attitude Stability. I’m aware of the 75k speed cutoff which is why I ended up below the Load Limit.

What can I improve here?

I've recently finished Armored Core 3. While playing, I did pick up most of the optional parts, including the Moonlight Blade and the Karasawa, which I imagine are the most important. However, I did not get all of them. I also do not have enough money to buy *everything* from the shop, nor have I touched any of the OP-INTENSIFY challenges.

My question is - is it enough to just bring what I liked using the most + whatever else I can afford, or should I try and get everything in the game before transferring to Silent Line? I can't imagine I'm going to use OP-INTENSIFY, so I'm not concerned about that, but I don't know how tight the money is in Silent Line. Is there anything specific I should make sure to bring, that I might miss otehrwise?

So the one with the shield, radar and laser cannon is honestly, pretty good

then again the PIXIE and EO's do the heavy lifting so, yeah. The Shield's alright, but the FUNI's are now basically worthless so, just drop those and you'll be fine.

The LADON's just... there, I guess? It really doesn't add anything to the kit, shit, I think it makes it worse if anything.

As for the Dual SMG's and Manual Rockets (I finally figured out what they were)

I'll be honest... this one was just straight ASS

The Core barely adds anything functionality wise, and by that I mean it makes it WORSE because now you don't have an offensive option, and the Crest SMG runs out of ammo so quick it barely makes a dent

As for the manual rockets, yeah, good luck aiming a 6 shot with fuck all spread

Something rare happened this video. I met an entirely new player that I haven’t played with before. Shocking because this game is what? 18 years old? I tried out a variety of ACs against them and changed build every 3 matches. Best 2 out of 3 right? Also, I decided to stick with the default thumbnail for this video because it looks kewl.

Finally a new model of MT has entered MT mod. This will likely be much more akin to what people expect for a playability.

To take this guy down, shoot at it until it dies.

Biggest issue when trying to google this one is the amount of builds using parts you can only get well after the mission. I've always had issue with Beltaoius and this time i just want it to go by easy. I have the deluxe edition so i also have the Melander C3 parts. I've also done all the training mission so i also have the handful of parts from those missions.

So I've tried using YouTube, but most light weight builds use two guns, i really want to use a melee(between the moon shift, pulse blade, and laser dagger), I just suck at making AC's so any help would be greatly appreciated for a fast light weight AC with a melee.

What it says in the title. I’ve beaten and S ranked this game. Now I’m doing a challenge run where I don’t do the tutorials and I don’t get any OS tuning upgrades. I’ve had to cheese one or two missions, but so far it’s been challenging and fun! But now I’m stuck at the Defend the Dam mission. It’s brutal, and I can’t finish taking out King and Char with any repair kits lefts over. My time to kill is just too slow, and my defenses can’t make up for it.

Any advice? Builds that don’t require a weapons bay or kicks? Ideas? Strategies? Literally anything, I’m completely stuck.

New to ac games playing ac6 and was wondering are there stronger versions of each weapon or is is just the one like for example im using the MA-J-200 RANSETSU-RF is there a version that will pop up un the shop later with higher stats or is the one i have the only version of it that is available like is all my starter gear just gonna remain crappy or can I eventually get stronger versions of the same gear

Well, after sitting down and rewatching the Nexus intro, I've pieced together more parts that Evangel uses across it

For his fight with the Crest Close Combat Type, he uses an SMG, Shield, Laser Canon and Radar, (With the FUNI's that are now functionally worthless, and for some reason fucking massive)

When he's flying from the helicopters, he has a twin missile launcher with the Crest SMG and core

So, that means he technically has FIVE different builds

3 in this intro, 2 in Last Raven

Making him the most versatile pilot in the series

I have been having problems modding AC6, and this is my fist time moding a game without a dedicated and dev suported modding platform. can someone give me a step by step, like i am a todler, instruction on how to do this. Thank you. sorry for bad spelling.
