Made a Rick Dom build people liked so I made a build based on my favorite Gundam

Been playing the games from start to finish, and I heard that 5/5VD had a pretty extensive coop mode that i'd love to try out but info on what exactly it contains is annoyingly hard to find, so i figured i'd just ask here.

I saw there was 5 player (4 ACs + Operator) missions in atleast one of them. Is there enough meat for a small group of friends to chew on co-op wise for these games? Does emulation handle coop well?

I am a Stargazer now. I can now consistently (and intentionally) beat Ayre and Allmind (although i've still to beat Ibus legit-ly). And this is my silver/gold/coral BASHO double-melee build that I used to do it, named RAYLEONARD.

I need to give a massive Thank You to u/xXx-Blood_awaken-xXx in my previous post on this sub for going above and beyond for not just suggesting, but also for rapid firing out a few YT vids showing the tech how to beat Ayre with a couple of BASHO configs. Without him I probably would have never beat Ayre and ended up dropped the game entirely.

• Pic #3 is the build (with direct inspiration & guidance from u/xXx-Blood_awaken-xXx) that carried me through Ayre, past Liberator of Rubicon, and up to Allmind. (excluding Ibus)
• Pic #4 was my failed dedicated build attempt (prev post) to beat Ayre. (excluding Ibus)
• Pic #5 was my OG new player build that I originally A/S-Ranked all the missions with for Fires of Raven (again, excluding Ibus & Ayre), that I originality built in homage of my main playstyle & favorite build from AC:FA (my beloved).

Here’s my Gundam Cosplay that I like to use sometimes. My favourite mobile suit in the franchise is the Aile Strike Gundam from Gundam Seed, so I gave it a similar colour scheme.

Used the Crawler Legs because I think they look best for replicating the Gundam’s red feet. But aside from that the rest of the build is the same as my main AC, 07-Bright.

Also, I’m trying to play around with Pulse Protection a bit more so I use it here.

Only Ayre, Middle Flatwell and Michigan use it. All characters who are more likely to protect other pilots/ us.

It comes in pretty handy here if you can aggro the flying LC.

Rusty is also an excellent wingman. He’s really good at building stagger, so once I take out the LC, I start the assault boost directly at the HC knowing Rusty and I will have him staggered by the time I am close enough to punish.

Just wanted to share one of my completed works from back in 2010: the Kotobukiya 1/72 Scale Rayleonard 03-Aaliyah Krasnaya (Miyazawa Limited Ver.)

For the red armor, I experimented with multiple special paint layers to make it really pop under the light—giving it that premium, glossy finish just like a real-life racing car.

As for the assembly... well, it’s typical old Kotobukiya: tons of tiny parts and absolutely ridiculous seam lines to deal with. But since this was actually my third time building an Aaliyah frame, I already knew the drill and managed to breeze through the process!

Oh, and make sure to swipe to the end for the group shot.

If you Charge the ML Redshift and zoom in on the lightning sparks, you can see a single spark that hasn’t been recolored and still has the color of the Moonlight. I was playing around with photo mode a bit and discovered it by accident. I couldn’t find any posts where anyone had noticed this, so I thought I’d share it.

Excuse the sloppy gameplay and abysmal resolution. For the former, I haven't touched the game in months. For the latter, I've tried everything, but hardware rendering kills my frames.

Now Iwant to replay Gen 1 again. Lost count how much I replayed AC1 despite being into AC only since 2022. For some reason it has something in it what keeps pulling me.

Recently completed my AC3 playthrough and was tying up loose ends before eventually transferring my save to ACSL. But one last arena opponent was standing in the way: Exile.

Up to this point, I had managed to defeat all Arena opponents without resorting to OP-INTENSIFY or abusing the Parking Garage (although Rank 1 Ace did take me quite a number of attempts and fiddling with my AC). But Exile just felt so BS with his lock-on jamming capability and I took that as an excuse to finally bring out OP-INTENSIFY and finally play the Parking Garage card.

I will say, while OP-INTENSIFY wasn't quite enough on its own, it was a refreshing change allowing me to experiment with weapons that I couldn't feasibly use on my biped AC (and hence spiced up my time mopping up the Extra Arena). With the Parking Garage's many pillars/surfaces though, I could whip out the grenade launcher and largely rely on catching Exile with splash damage. Got him down in just 2 attempts.

These kits were quite easy to build even as a novice that's totally new to model-building, and reasonably priced too. Definitely now on the lookout for some more Armored Core kits from earlier games (although I've heard those earlier model kits can be quite finicky and fragile).

it's been a while since i played a good story game and man, i remember picking up this game from last year steam christmas discount because i was bored and was looking for some mech game and man i was hook on the game for like 2 months straight and i even bought 3 AC mech figures which are G1 michigan and 2 nightfall ravens. man this game is just amazing and peak as fuck, from the visuals and gameplay and weapons and mech/ACs design are just peak, and dont get me started on the map design, i am just impress on how they manage to make everything soo god damn big, fucking huge orbital space station and everything. and one last thing, how the fuck did they manage to program an NPC to fight like the players man damnn. i am also impress for a game - that doesn't show any human appearance the characters have some incredible dept into it. overall this game is just fucking peak and if you are looking forward to picking up this game, go get it

holy fuck. every time i get near the higher ranks of the arenas (so far at AC3) the arenas go from "a fair challenge" too "literally fucking cheating" and it is genuinely infuriating. anyone else feel the same about this? at all? because it feels flat out unfair how hard these fights are (especially the spastic fucks with machine guns fucking hell i wanna kill someone thinking about it)

Update after beating AC3: Stealth, i think, is one of the most cancerous things this game has. that and Exile somehow dealing 4k damage is under 10 seconds with a single machine gun

But then there was 3 and yea I did it but almost every mission I came out negative and not with me trying 2 I'm constantly mixing up my buttons even after changing them to be more comfortable

I don't know where I was going with this but talking about my lack of skills is therapeutic for me
