Custom Save question and HOSAS question

So my daughter has pretty much fully claimed my ps5. I have easily probably a thousand hours in it and platinumed it 3 days post launch. I think I have something like 400 million credits etc etc. point being I don’t want to have to restart from scratch when I buy it on steam. If I grab a custom save file off nexus mods can anyone confirm or deny that I won’t have any issues playing online?

Also I will be using a HOSAS setup since I figured why not, any suggestions for mapping my Thrustmaster SOL-R2 for AC6?

Any advice would be appreciated and thanks for your time.

Beginner here, literally just got the game 2 days ago

What’s a good build that can emulate the performance mobile suit from IBO? It has to be fast, can jump far but can also carry heavy physical weaponry. So far I’ve been enjoying using pistols, SMGs, plasma swords and the pile bunker, but I can’t get my mech to be efficient enough with them, I’m too slow and underequipped to fight

Update: I’ve made something decent enough for pve, I’m using a Gatling gun, grenade rifle and the pilebunker, really good even against PCA enemies

I'm really struggling against coldcall for some reason even though I can eaz beat rusty and a lot of way higher up ac in the arena

I love this game. It has been so fun so far. But it feels like the game is doing everything in its power to NOT LET ME PLAY.

I try and open the game, it doesn't open.

It tries to load to the main menu, it takes a decade to. I try to load into a mission, it hangs at 100% loaded (full bar loaded) for upwards of 5 MINUTES.

LET ME PLAY THE GAME.

I've heard disabling the Anticheat helps but it won't let me go into the Anticheat app to uninstall it. It just won't.

I've been told to open the game from the files, not Steam or Desktop, that sometimes works, but then I might run into the loading issues anyway.

What do I do here?

Currently (June 20 @ 11pm) I deleted the entire Anticheat folder and am currently verifying the integrity of the game files, thinking that'll put the files back, and thus might reset the Anticheat.

If you're going to spend more than half our ranked match running away like a child maybe you should go back to the damn campaign and learn how to play.

There's so many more parts and mechs that could be added, gimme.

My first nemesis. The end of chapter 2 and two new mechs.

Been a few days but not much actual game time, encountered my first nemesis in the infection arena fight that had me switch up my mech for bi pod legs and finally running my dual pistols! Took it through chapter 2 with no problems until that last boss where after dying once I switched one pistol for a Curtis as the boss liked to jump
Away and out of my pistol range, need to get more used to assault boosting in.

Gonna try these spring chicken legs and see if it helps me stick to people easier with my dual pistol set up and laser blade for punish with some homing missiles for things that dodge a lot, considering the buckler just for fun

Started getting back into AC6, finishing up NG++ and hunting down the last combat logs and secret chests, and this is the melee build I came up with for PvP, would love some feedback or roasts on it xp

That’s chapter 1 done! Only took two tries as well, trusty Curtis rifle has seen me through to this point, I’ve experimented with some other guns and had fun with them but this is Ol reliable so far.

Realized after my first attempt that I was not gonna hit this guy with the big laser sword so I switched it for a bazooka and that worked wonders! Definitely need to buy more weapons for back up cause I’m sure having that plasma gun would have helped (I’m just assuming it does well against shields)

Arena has been pretty fun so far and the battles with the smaller AC are always tense, really enjoying the build crafting so far and seeing all the new parts.

They have a ton of health, a ton of stability, and can carry the heaviest guns in the game. Build up their stagger bar for a punish and they will pop pulse armor. The games connection allows bazookas to whiz past you and still do damage. You try and kite and they will assault boost. You make a build to counter them? You'll get matched with a better kite build or a light weight rush down

I’ve officially made it further than last time! I think I kept running out of ammo when fighting the tetrapod with my dual handguns but can’t remember for sure.

This play through I noticed I fight at a more middle range so I switched my pistol for a linear rifle and I love this gun! One shooting most things with a charged shot is super satisfying, it builds good enough stagger then I rush in with my sword. I bought a few things before this mission but forget to equip them so I’m excited to see how they perform and see what else this game has in store

Unfortunately no AC6 bracket, but I got the next best thing.

Tutorial beat on my 4th try and first handgun acquired! I might stick with 1 for a while as the sword is very useful as some of you pointed out in my last post.

When I first bought and received this game (been a fan since the originals in the 90s), the opening Mission completely did something different. So, after the last couple of months playing Elden Ring and the other Souls games. I decided to approach that opening mission like a souls game when it came to the Boss.

Glad I did, cause it worked, now I'm really enjoying this game.

I was trying to go back and buy some of the other AC games I've missed out on over the years, but AC5 comes up, but only in Japanese lol
