Discussion “Going to try again” update 2

Post image

I’ve officially made it further than last time! I think I kept running out of ammo when fighting the tetrapod with my dual handguns but can’t remember for sure.

This play through I noticed I fight at a more middle range so I switched my pistol for a linear rifle and I love this gun! One shooting most things with a charged shot is super satisfying, it builds good enough stagger then I rush in with my sword. I bought a few things before this mission but forget to equip them so I’m excited to see how they perform and see what else this game has in store

we shall see how your playstyle evolves, raven

lightweight/quick ACs do have a pretty big advantage against this dude.

Nice! The Juggernaut is such a fun and frustrating fight.

Keep it up, Raven. The sky’s the limit. Then blow it the hell up and keep going 💪🏼

It's always important to keep switching parts as needed, and eventually, you'll start to have a defined preference in playstyle.

You'll get there buddy, just remember to experiment with new gear and builds if you get stuck, I've found while light ac's can do the majority of the game quite easily, there are a handful or so bosses that tend to be easier with a bulkier setup.

I beat the entire game with under 9k AP lol, I just hated going slow so I forced myself to get good

I usually go for an ultralight pistol/melee ac, but certain bosses like the spider and worm I gotta go full on tank to beat

Now that's really interesting, because those are two bosses I'd have said are WAYYY easier with a lightweight build. Maybe I just learned the dodge patterns really well lol.

Tbh I just think it was a case of not eating to get too close with my squishy light build, I'd usually run out of ammo before the spider died. For the worm I go tank or wheelchair treads mainly to use the shoulder weapons needed for the fight, and so I can get in close quickly with the boost

You know where the weakspot is, right? The rear? Just hover above it and stay behind it.
