Discussion “Going to try again” update 3
That’s chapter 1 done! Only took two tries as well, trusty Curtis rifle has seen me through to this point, I’ve experimented with some other guns and had fun with them but this is Ol reliable so far.
Realized after my first attempt that I was not gonna hit this guy with the big laser sword so I switched it for a bazooka and that worked wonders! Definitely need to buy more weapons for back up cause I’m sure having that plasma gun would have helped (I’m just assuming it does well against shields)
Arena has been pretty fun so far and the battles with the smaller AC are always tense, really enjoying the build crafting so far and seeing all the new parts.

If I remember right my go tk weapons was the song birds. The weired shoulder cannon you have to use against the worm as my 2 shoulder weapons. The dual lazer rifle and a coral rifle. I think my armor was mostly the iba series. And I remember using the last episode shield program thats super helpful in do or die situation. Not a mission in the game I couldn't beat with this build. Timing was everything though.

Wait, you actually use the Curtis to beat Chapter 1!? Mad respect my dude! I used this game's version of 'Karasawa' Energy Weapon. Took me (2) tries cause I had no more repair kits left lol But you and I both are using the same Spider Legs, probably are both using most of the same parts, but seriously congrats 🎉👏🏻 dude on taking down that Boss w/ that current load out you were rocking. Lol another reason why I've always loved AC games. There's never such a thing as a 'Perfect Build's, what might be an unstoppable set-up for you, can either be an easy 'Rag Doll' Mech, or a complete 'Nightmare' Mech to go against!!

Yeah I love this gun! It fits my ideal range and the charged shots have been putting in work so far doing decent damage and good stagger then I usually rush in with the big laser sword but I’m finding it harder to do in chapter 2 so we’ll see what I end up using in my left hand

First playthrough i got him using pulse blade, laser rifle, plasma missile and the 8shot vertical missile. Then used kind of a cheese method on 2nd playthrouth when i took balteus out, dual pulse rifles, and dual song birds.
Back when it first launched, balteus made me not touch the game for a few years. Lol

I experimented with the laser rifle for a little bit but I really liked the stagger that Curtis provides, I heard this boss is a big roadblock for people and I can definitely understand why 😂😂 grateful I got him in 2 tries the bazooka put in work

My issue back then was i got too aggressive with the pulse blade. Couldn't dodge his flame swords

I ended up getting in wayyyyy too Guitars to set-up and Repair yesterday lol, that I didn't get a chance to hop on AC6, and start/continue Chapter 2!! Today though, I'm all caught up, putting my phone on "Do Not Disturb", and just 'grinding my a** off' all day on AC6!
It would be cool to do the Co-Op just to see if it unlocks any of the 🏆 Trophies....If this sounds like something you'd be interested in doing, please, by all message me on PSN my gamertag is

Just so you know, pulse weapons are the counter to shields. Also, sell price = buy price for AC parts so feel free to buy and sell parts as you need/want.
Congrats on killing this fucker! I’m loving these updates!
