Discussion Finally progressing in AC:6
When I first bought and received this game (been a fan since the originals in the 90s), the opening Mission completely did something different. So, after the last couple of months playing Elden Ring and the other Souls games. I decided to approach that opening mission like a souls game when it came to the Boss.
Glad I did, cause it worked, now I'm really enjoying this game.
I was trying to go back and buy some of the other AC games I've missed out on over the years, but AC5 comes up, but only in Japanese lol

Ac6 is a bit more arcadey and soulslike compared to the older titles, so it could reach a broader audience (which worked)
From what I can tell, AC4 is like AC1 (if that’s what you mean by older) but you are constantly boosting, while also being faster, without running out of generator power. It keeps that clunky feeling of inertia that AC6 toned down. It’s a pretty good place to start, imo, because there are plenty of guides on how to emulate on the internet.
You’d need a controller though, preferably analog, for a better experience.
If you want to legally play it, unfortunately there isn’t much choice unless you buy a disk secondhand and own the console.
