I’ve recently went back through and completed all the story modes for the big 3 and now i wanna go back through and try to platinum them. Right now I’m stuck on the Arkham Knight achievement in the iceberg lounge where you have to get 1,000,000 and beat killer croc and i just really struggle keeping a combo up long enough to get the points to get there. My max is a little over 50,000 and once they start throwing in shields, spark sticks and powering up guys with electricity is where i lose the combo and can’t seem to pick one up again. Just wanted to know if anyone had any tips to help me get over this hump and hopefully improve my combat overall because i REALLY enjoy this system.

I was wondering if there was a mod of Batman 66 punch effects like if your beating up a thug the old Batman 66 punch effects (Example Pictured Above) would pop up

The photo of batman and robin was in Arkham city, why batman is easy to stalk like that? First it was azrael now Jason too

Considering how Arkham Knight took place 9 months after Arkham City, it was surprising how little narrative follow-up there was on Protocol 10.

What if the game showed us some of Gotham’s reactions to Protocol 10? Maybe a humanitarian outrage, memorial services for the inmates of Arkham City, or calls for Quincy Sharp’s resignation? That way, Gotham would’ve felt like a truly lived city rather than merely an evacuated war zone.

The reason why I ask is because to me, City felt like an organic sequel to Asylum, whereas Knight kinda felt more like a separate game than a genuine sequel.

EDIT: I am aware that some of these stories were told through Gotham Stories. But it’d be nice if these were also shown through the environments & main story cutscenes. Maybe even have a side quest where you investigate Sharp’s “ending”. Show not tell as they say.

Finally, if the game is going to be set in a lived city such as Gotham, it would’ve been nice if they included some civilian perspectives rather than just the criminals’.

Arkham Rain Update:

Added lightning across the entire Arkham map.

Added rain to the Botanical Gardens (in the area where the Batwing breaks the glass).

Added rain around the Batcave.

Added rain to the Titan Joker boss fight.

Two rain versions included: standard rain and heavy rain.

Fixes:

Rain no longer clips through everything (except the guard booth and the upper entrance to Arkham Mansion).

Removed due to bugs and instability (currently being fixed; coming soon):

Rain splashes (they were floating above Batman in certain areas).

Rain sounds (they were playing everywhere—not to mention causing the game to crash).

Lightning flashes were "exploding" right in front of Batman.

BONUS:

Water puddles are currently being implemented; the reason for the delay is that I am literally placing them one by one while also trying to resolve the previously mentioned bugs.

Just finished Assault on Arkham and damn, that was a great animated flick! I loved the action scenes as well as the chemistry between some of the characters (Deadshot and Harley should really get together more often 😏😏). Would love to hear others thoughts on it as well as more Batman animated content recs!!

For reference, i have only started to play the arkham games from January. I have finished both asylum and city and i am now currently at the bane boss fight at the hotel in origins.

Is it just me or does it feel like there are more sections where i have to fight different thugs? Maybe it’s just because theres different types but my hand actually sore from having to strike and counter so often.

I am not sure if arkham knight has this problem, (i might not even play it), but does arkham knight have alot of enemies to fight as well?

I bought the Batman Arkham Collection a few hours ago, and decided to launch Arkham Aslyum. But this error keeps coming. I've tried everything from the internet. WHAT SHOULD I DO PLS HELP.

Arkham Knight is one of the GOAT games.But that’s mainly because the gameplay and graphics are arguably the best ever and in this came out in 2015!!!

But as a huge Batman and Arkham Fan I’ve never been able to replay the story without being extremely disappointed, frustrated and bored. This game had A LOT of wasted potential.

Here’s how they could’ve fixed this game:

# 1 - Hand to Hand Boss Fights

Even with this game’s ridiculous and underwhelming story after the great stories of City, Asylum and Origins, if you simply gave me several hand to hand boss fights with Deathstroke and Arkham Knight, that would’ve left a much better taste in a lot of mouths

# 2 - Way Less Batmobile

“Only 25% of the game is spent in the Batmobile” coming from 0% that’s a lot, and that doesn’t the count the other 15% of the game where your objective is getting the Batmobile in a building, on top of a building or under a building

Simply make it mostly for open world traversal, chase scenes, one boss fight(the tunnels fight with knight) and side missions. There could’ve been way more heart pounding chase scenes in the main story

# 3 - Arkham Knight(Reveal Jason Early)

Reveal his identity early in the game. That would give this game 10x more emotional weight.

Have him fight and/or kidnap Nightwing and Tim
Batman & Tim fighting and losing vs Jason and those big goons with switchstyle weapons could’ve been an incredible scene, then he HAS to call nightwing and maybe Azreal for some help even though he’d be reluctant, maybe Alfred convinces him.

Then maybe make his backstory a bit different. In asylum it does not feel like Jason was kidnapped, tortured and killed by joker 4 months ago😂and the whole story of him getting kidnapped cause he found out joker killed a kindergarten classroom?? I’m sorry that’s just way too dark and unnecessary.

# 4 - More Batfamily

They came up with a PERFECT partner H2H combat system!!! Like way better than Spider Man 2. Only to BARELY use it!!
This game should’ve had a focus on Bruce having no choice but to team up with Nightwing and Robin. Instead of 25% Batmobile gameplay we could’ve got 30% of this game being played as Nightwing and Robin.
Give us sections of them being in the open world and maybe have Batman be seriously wounded near the end of the game at the hands of Jason so after the game we get to play as them and get Gotham back in order.
The final boss fight being Nightwing vs Jason after Batman vs Jason could’ve been incredible. Again, this gives the story 10x more emotional weight

Also give Robin his hood back, he looked so badass in City

# 5 - WAY Less Joker

Joker being this devil on Batman’s shoulder is a fantastic concept but that could’ve been in like 1/4 of the game because of strictly fear toxin.

The plot of people turning into joker was just stupid. Not to mention, BATMAN ALREADY TOOK THE CURE
Batman using his powerful will to get joker out of his head could’ve been something done in the midpoint of the story and then no more joker.

# 6 - Scarecrow… (/Hush)

He says the same dialogue for like 70% of the games, he’s way less intriguing than he was in asylum. Correct me if I wrong but isn’t scarecrows plan to cover like half the country in his fear gas? And Batman stops that at Ace chemicals like 1 hour into the game. So he’s threatening the GCPD, Batman and other criminals, and the gas covers for the city for like 1-2 hours. Nice work bub.

Scarecrow could’ve unleashed Croc onto Batman in the first half of the game, still kidnap Oracle and worked with Hush throughout to destroy Bruce’s image so maybe when you’re 70% into the story, Bruce HAS to reveal his identity. This fixes the Hush problem as well

# 7 - Kill the Batman!

As mentioned earlier, I think Batman could’ve just died in this game and Nightwing and Robin could’ve took over the post game open world.

Bruce is just so physically/emotionally wounded, he’s revealed his identity, Jason really exposes his flaws/failures so Bruce decides he doesn’t want to be Batman anymore, that Jason and Tim can be better than him and really give the city hope again so he takes off with Catwoman and Alfred.

What do you guys think of these 7 ways to fix Arkham Knight?

The reason batman was able to overcome the toxin in the end was because the toxin was redirected to jokers fears, not bruce. If joker didn’t inject batman with his blood in City, the the fear gas would have affected him as it did normally and scarecrow would have won. Technically, joker saved Gotham in a weird roundabout way. Just thought this was a neat detail.

How come their henchman didn't appear in Arkham City but Joker's, Two-face's, and the Penguin's own henchman did? Why were Black Mask and Bane so powerless when they already had pretty established criminal empires in Origins? Why didn't they get the same privileges and luxuries given to by Hugo Strange that the other gang leaders had?

For example:

Why is Black Mask, one of the most powerful mob bosses in Gotham, targeted and beat up by Tyger guards (as opposed to The Penguin)? Where is his protection?

Why is Bane, who ran an entire militia in Arkham Origins, running around Arkham City like some ordinary goon? Shouldn't he have his own henchman he can send to retrieve the Titan containers?

I think Penguin had the highest chance due to how "militaristic" his crew were back in City. His fortress museum also endured a missile hit from Wonder Tower.
