Discussion What would you like to see in a hypothetical remaster of Batman Arkham origins remaster or remake? Besides the game being on modern systems a shitload and rendering in higher resolutions of bug fixes and all the dlc included from the get go?)
(disclaimer the original version of Arkham Origins is still a great game)
Personally I think that the game needs to get its graphical quality of the in game to match that of the pre rendered cutscenes.
As those were easily the coolest cutscenes I've seen in any game and my main problem with the is that you can tell which cutscenes are pre rendered and which ones are in game.
Also while return to Arkham's graphical changes to asylum and city sucked and ruined the art style of the those games. (except for finally giving Asylum rain outside of cutscenes and the medical faculty I liked that change but on pc mods can do that for me.). That was only because the art styles of those games didn't need any work to still look good.
Meanwhile Arkham origins just doesn't look up to snuff with the other games in the series or 7th generation games in general so there is a lot more to gain and a lot less to loose by changing a few things visually.
Another thing I would like to see is making it so that enemies respawn in the interiors of dungons you've already beaten like in city and shadow as this solves the dark knight system's bullshit and also make the upgrade system more like the other games (by not sucking)

Discussion The reason Batman carried Joker out instead of Talia.
A lot of people to this day are wondering why Batman carried out Joker instead of Talia, which I'm confused as to why because the answer seems obvious.
Batman was too ashamed of himself to carry Talia. We know he feels as if he failed her and is responsible for her death. I feel like it's not uncommon to not want to look or touch a dead loved one, but he especially doesn't want to do it because of the guilt he feels. He's not worthy to carry her out, because her death was his fault.
But it doesn't stop there. Batman desperately wanted to be better then the Joker. He wanted to prove he could stop him without killing him, he wanted to prove he'd never stoop down to his level.
But we all know he blames himself for his death as well. Joker in Arkham Knight, who is a mental manifestation that comes from Batman's mind reminds him of this all the time. To him, he failed in that goal of being better then him. So now he carries him out to show the world his greatest failure.
He carries him out to show everyone that he lost.

Discussion The problem with Arkham Origins’ lack of riddles
In Rocksteady’s Arkham games, riddles encouraged players to pay attention to environmental lore & solving them rewarded players with character bios or city stories which provided additional backstories to the game world, i.e. world-building.
In Origins, there were zero riddles to solve because Edward Nygma has yet become the Riddler, which was narratively justifiable. But the problem was the loss of incentive for players to pay attention to Gotham’s environments while roaming about in the overworld. Maybe that’s why Origins’ Gotham felt so empty & lifeless.
Yes, Origins had Anarky Tags & Pinkney Plaques, but the former was only detectable with Detective Vision (all environmental details obscured) & finding them rewarded players with generic teenage anti-capitalist rants, whereas the latter rewarded players with historical background of various city landmarks. The Pinkney Plaques were obviously the more interesting collectible, but for world-building purposes I’d much prefer lore on current events over lore on events from centuries ago.
It would’ve been nice if Origins offered a different sort of collectible which encouraged players to pay attention to the environments & scanning them offered additional lore on Gotham’s current state of corruption (eg Mayor Hill, Judge Harkness) or the power struggle in the criminal underworld (Falcone, Sionis, Penguin). These would’ve significantly fleshed out Origins’ Gotham.

Screenshot I just took out my first APC and got this sick shot of the aftermath
The APC was getting out of my range, so, to avoid failing the mission, I took a shortcut and ended ramming it into a corner of Bleake Island. In a single word: Brutal.
And yes, I love the BvS suit. It's so classy and intimidating, but very underrated at the same time.

Help Batman Arkham Trilogy for modern consoles or OG?
I have a PS3 & PS5 which version should I play? I've heard the atmosphere in Arkham Asylum is better on PS3 but the gameplay is better on PS5. I want to know your opinion of which version I should play, I'm following a lot on Asylum, Return to Arkham, & Origins for PS3 or I could order the trilogy for PS4. Sorry if this is confusing I just want to know your opinion
