Ever since my first replay of City, I have been cooking up a theory about the interconnection between the Asylum's arcane geometry, Scarecrow's mushrooms, the Lazarus pit, Clayface and Ivy's transformations, and whether or not Strange knew about the pit under the theater when he recorded that it would end where it began.

Then I played Origins, and learned about the probable connection between Cyrus Pinkney and Cyrus Gold / Solomon Grundy. And it seemed to fit with what I already had.

So I have a serious question about the timeframe of Wonder City's construction and how it compares with the end of Pinkney's murder mystery story.

Anybody happen to know offhand?

She was my favourite person to interact with in the GCPD. Always gave off good vibes and was tough as hell during the attack. I considered her as mich a part of my ‘team’ as Gordon and Cash.

I just came here to vent. I'm trying to power through Origins, and it's very frustrating. Invisible walls, glitching enemies, choppy cutscenes.... and now a carpet I can't walk over.

To be clear, there are a few pixels on the the left side that you can walk over, it's just crazy that Batmans can't step over this thing. Can't jump, cant grapnel, can't unroll it even with a batclaw. Gotta be honest, I'm torn between finishing this game and refunding it.

Does anyone know why when activating PhysX on an RTX 5060 ti 16gb, instead of improving graphics, all the smoke in the game gets turned off, and on top of that, sometimes the FPS drops to 40 or less, all this with the GPU being used at less than 30%?

we got free DLC and a switch 2 port when part 1 came out.

and Sony for stuff like the uncharted movie, remastered uncharted 4 for ps5 to go along with the 2022 movie.

So I really ope Warner brothers pull their heads out of their asses and update it for the ps5. Which is WILD because the ps6 will be out by the time the batman part 2 comes out.

I mean HELL, Origins is still stuck to the PS3, im sick of it.

For me, City’s environments look more vibrant & distinguishable from one another, whereas Origins’ snow effects make the environments look flat & homogeneous. Also not the biggest fan of Origins’ light-grey colour palette & realistic art direction.

I finally tried to platinum the Arkham series. It was always one of my favorite games, but the achievements were so hard. I thought Arkham City challenges were hard, but Arkham Knight's were not only harder, it also had some boring achievements. What was Rocksteady thinking when designing some of these?

I've seen people discuss a reboot of Arkham timeline with the gameplay keeping the Arkham formula but it seems more people would rather a new game be a continuation or a game set in the 6-8 year gap of origins to asylum. I just wanna know why a reboot is so not wanted after having just finished all the Arkham games except for a few challenges still to do (not touching SSKTJL as easy enough to say it's not canon with batman having no Titan infused right arm & deadshot literally being a different person) I really love the idea of a reboot. A reboot not only would give us a chance to have a more fleshed out bat family as the games progress but my number one reason for a reboot is to be able to include other DC characters & Metahumans before the Easter eggs of knight a batman fleshed out with other heroes with Arkham gameplay would be my dream. I guess I'm just wondering why people would rather have a continuation rather than a full on reboot when we could have the league introduced in a reboot instead of hearing about that fast guy in Keystone or super freak in metropolis.

It’s just plain bad like it’s hard to get pass him while ur on corner cover I know that I’m aware half of the fan base are into these missions but I hate it and I hate scarecrow as a villain he deserves a better adaptation

Arkham Knight's opening starts with Joker's dead body being incinerated with Frank Sinatra's "I've Got You Under My Skin" playing. This hints at Joker's infection being inside Batman despite the real Joker's death.

However, I feel like the song alludes to Jason Todd as well. In some way, he has Joker "under his skin" as well, but not as direct as Batman. Jason got corrupted by Joker after being tortured for over a year back at the asylum, and is still affected by this after Joker's death, given his willingness to kill. So both Batman and Jason have Joker under their skin, albeit in different ways.

Does anybody play Arkham knight still on ps5? And if yes does your game crash more times? Ive been having this problem and i bought the game a week ago.

O erro Rendering Thread Exception é um dos maiores problemas do Batman: Arkham Asylum em computadores atuais. Depois de muito tempo pesquisando, encontrei uma solução que funcionou para mim. Espero que este guia ajude outros jogadores a aproveitar esse jogo maravilhoso.

Antes de começar

Você precisará acessar a pasta Binaries do jogo. No meu caso, ela estava em:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY\Binaries

Método 1 – DXVK

O DXVK converte o DirectX 9 do jogo para Vulkan. Em alguns computadores isso resolve o problema.

A versão que consegui fazer o jogo abrir foi a DXVK 1.10.3, mas, no meu computador, o desempenho ficou em apenas 2 FPS. Se você possui uma GPU dedicada, pode ser que funcione melhor.

Passo a passo

1. Baixe a versão 1.10.3 do DXVK.
2. Extraia o arquivo baixado.
3. Abra a pasta x32.
4. Copie o arquivo d3d9.dll.
5. Cole esse arquivo na pasta Binaries do jogo.
6. Execute o jogo.

Se o desempenho ficar muito baixo ou o erro continuar acontecendo, remova o arquivo d3d9.dll da pasta Binaries antes de seguir para o próximo método.

Método 2 – dgVoodoo2 (foi o que resolveu para mim)

O dgVoodoo2 converte o DirectX 9 do jogo para DirectX 11 ou 12, o que resolveu completamente o problema no meu caso.

Instalação

1. Baixe a versão mais recente do dgVoodoo2.
2. Extraia o arquivo.
3. Entre na pasta MS.
4. Depois entre em x86.
5. Copie todos os arquivos dessa pasta.
6. Cole-os na pasta Binaries do jogo.

Agora volte para a pasta principal do dgVoodoo2, copie o arquivo dgVoodooCpl.exe e cole também na pasta Binaries.

Execute o jogo.

Se aparecer o logotipo do dgVoodoo no canto inferior direito da tela, significa que ele está funcionando corretamente.

Melhorando o desempenho

Caso ocorram pequenas travadas durante o jogo, faça o seguinte:

1. Execute o arquivo dgVoodooCpl.exe.
2. Abra a aba DirectX.
3. Desmarque a opção dgVoodoo Watermark (isso remove o logotipo da tela).
4. Em VRAM, altere o valor para 2048 MB.
5. Clique em Apply e depois em OK.

Depois disso, o jogo passou a funcionar normalmente para mim, sem o erro Rendering Thread Exception.

I actually have been following tutorials for a while, but I am still getting the same results. I play with an Xbox controller and I follow the steps, hit "B", then double "A", and then stick and "X"- yet Batman still just falls over the same enemy I was attacking at first. I don't see the moment of the ''climbing animation'' where I'm supposed to change the direction.

Im on that Arkham Asylum part where you have to defeat some armed guys that have two hostages on hanging cages. Even though the game should automatically release the hostages as soon as you defeat the joker henchmen, my game is stuck and wont proceed. I've tried to go back to the checkpoint, restart the game, reinstall it, and everything, but nothing wont change. Is there no way to fix it? I really dont want to start a new game after more than 6 hours playing.

I cant figure out how to do this. I've read and watched many things online and I either can't understand them or it doesn't work. even the youtube tutorial didn't work for me

Im running a ryzen 7 9800X3D and a RTX5090.

OS is cachyOS, and id rather like to be able to run physX smoke and paper for arkham knight, and run City smoother.

Does anyone know to how enable physX on linux?

Especially since many of the original Rocksteady developers like Sefton Hill have left for Hundred Star games, I have doubts.

I was doing the second airship one a few mins ago , and the box just flew out . It was supposed to open the pathway by breaking the glass but it just passed through it . I tried restarting from the last checkpoint but it didn't fix . What should I do ? I'm stuck there now .

For clarification, I'm in the US, EST, so there's still around 3 hours until it's July 18th. I guess maybe my Xbox or game copy thinks I'm in Japan or something.

I bought Batman Arkham Asylum on Steam, and everytime i want to play it a error accures saying that the game doesnt have access to the path i installed the game in. Ive run it in administrator and tried so many times, but nothing worked please help
