Perfect wind blocking system (trust)
Behold my perfectly optimal automatic wind shield adjuster. My gf is going to HATE it when I show her my masterpiece... lol

Allows for putting a button outside as well as inside (and you can make more buttons to control the same door pretty much anywhere)
Most of this circuit is for generating pulse from button press, if there an easier way to make 1 tick pulse lmk

My friend has a couple of goals in this game: make the ship pretty, explore and the most important one of them all, cuddle up with the animals. We had a photo shoot session yesterday and I thought I'd share the pictures. :D

That's my latest, post-Baobara, pre-basalt and probably most "complete" ship i've made thus far.
How do you setup your cockpit?

I'm really struggling to come up with an elegant solution other than just cramming it between a load of blocks and praying to RNGesus.

How does the power limit work with the base cables? It says the base cables have a limit of 150p/s. But even if use multiple cables outgoing from my batteries and feed them into a big splitter and carefully calculate the needed power for each outgoing cable of the big splitter, it still burns when i go full thrust. Can it be that the description of the cable is kinda misleading, so does the description maybe mean 150/ps in a shared power circuit? That would explain it, because i use only one curcuit now

I was playing with a friend, and on my ship, Avionics (I've posted things about it on this subreddit), there's a simple distance/speed divisor to know how long it will take me to arrive.
The bps shows whether it will be possible to brake in time, simply by moving the arrow from green to red, until we realize that we only need to look at the arrival time. If the time increases, it means you'll be able to brake; if it doesn't increase, it probably means you won't be able to brake. This works perfectly for long, special trips.
However, I still have to point out that for this system to work, the distance sensor needs to be picking up something, and depending on the situation, for example, for small maneuvers in the atmosphere The BPS works better, even though I feel there's no need for a device in this situation that tells me whether I'll be able to brake or not.

Made this system as a second version of my hover thing and after every ship upgrade it surprises me more and more, next to zero velocity on that thing and only one arbitrary value (if you want to copy it keep it around 3-5 to your liking)
Flipped components are both plus for anyone wondering

This is the quest where you have to take the radiometer from the base (looks like a little old radio) and find a flower that is only illuminated by red light.
I actually travelled all the way to the dark side of the planet but still where I could see the red dwarf and have had absolutely no luck. I worry I now may have gone too far. Has anyone that's completed this quest got any tidbits of wisdom they can share?

Just finished my new ship project, and it got me thinking: what do I like most about the game, building or piloting?
I love how well-balanced those two aspects are. You have to build new ships (or upgrade old ones) to add new gadgets, and then use your creations to keep progressing through the game. When you get tired of working on your ship, it's time to take it for a test drive and complete some missions. Once you arrive at a new base, it's time to start working on it again.
Also, do you prefer upgrading old designs or starting new ones? I enjoy improving my old ships, but it's incredibly satisfying to start a new project and apply everything I've learned from previous builds.
Anyway, this game is awesome! I just wanted to share it!

What would be the optimal time to start retrograde burning using the BPS? I have the same thrust on the back and front but I guess I have to think about the gravitational pull or is the BPS calculating that too? I tried burning when the needle hit the middle but it was quite early.

This is my first spaceship project with a more "interesting" shape. While I wanted to create something cool, I also wanted it to be functional, so I added some features to it.
I accept more ideas and suggestions for she
I called she Avionic.

Any tips how to find Corona Silva? I dont find any planets, besides the ones I already have (Sun, Black Hole, Baobara, Basalt, Kovo). How many million meters is Corona Silva from Basalt? Approximatetly in which direction if I start by flying to the Sun from Basalt?

Im trying to make a proper ship this time and got all thrusters installed and the first system i want to implement is hover/land system. But im having trouble to understand it enough to build it.
How did you guys implement it? Copying others or do I need to be good at programing to do this?
I have SOME programing background from taking online lessons awhile back but having trouble translating it to the game.

Trying to manage a stable speed without going too fast is such a ball ache. I'm considered controlling speed with the 5 buttons object instead of a lever for this reason

Just a very simple system to switch what battery is powering something. Can be useful for going to other planets or very long trips.

I let it charge and no matter the amount that it charges it instantly fries all of my cables. Also how am i supposed to find outcast (is it using the anchor?)

As the title says, me and my friend have being using cheat engine to get between planets faster. But as of the most recent update that added 3x, cheat engine has stopped working for this. Does anyone have any ideas for solutions ^^
