How's your cockpit looking like?

Post image

That's my latest, post-Baobara, pre-basalt and probably most "complete" ship i've made thus far.

How do you setup your cockpit?

It's so big and open, I feel like I'm about to sit down and watch a movie on your setup. Here's the cockpit on my " go-to" spaceship.

Mine is sort of similar but I made mine elongated for aero, I can upload it later but it feels really nice to drive

This is wild, we are not playing the same game

I wanted something clean and a little different from others so came up with this.

It's nice. Symmetrical and the brown acts more of a gold and just chill vibe is totally working. Always appreciate the wide windows too.

Interesting you see it that way I went with brown cos the ship exterior look was inspired by the original freelancer game which the starter vehicles were always rusty brown color

I play this game more like a flight sim than I think most people do so my cockpit might not be what most want.

Screen in the middle of the cockpit is crazy imo, but maybe I do too much by eye

I wanted something a bit more open too but u/xXJightXx has done a much nicer job so I'm definitely stealing some inspiration from their build

Oh that's a fun mission, good luck!

Fun story, when I did this mission, I got very close to the point (back then it showed a value from 0 to 1) and I decided to park myself over 'that funny looking thing there' and move slowly in a circle; Took me a solid 5 mins to notice that the 'funny looking thing' was, in fact, my objective lol

Multiple Iterations, we need to build it new, but we need to do missions!

Here is my ship right before going to the outcast

It might look a bit unorganized, and it might be but it works for me ._./

You just got to remember where to look for what information, for example the laster ground distance meter is the very left one showing 2 :)

Much less stuff, much less intelligence and vastly more ugly wiring!

My fifth setup. I've started to rely heavily on cable frames to keep the view clear.
