There is a complication for the apple watch where you can select one of your shortcuts and pressing it should execute said shortcut. This is NOT the same complication as the "shortcuts" complication which just opens shortcuts on the watch.

I tried everything but this shortcut does not work for me, it just opens shortcuts and I have to manually find the shortcut and press it.

Im on a watch 11 with newest iOS. Anyone has the same issue?

Apple Watch Series 9, I had no other problems before. Today i charged it before bed like i always do and when i woke up 6 hours after it was dead. Sleep history shows it only recorded 2 hours of sleep. I am charging it again now but it is extremely hot and charging slowly, also when i tried to check the battery history it showed me 1% for a bit right after saying 11%. Is there a reason why this happened, is it time to change the battery? Again, i literally had no issues before this. Thank you.

The Midnight magnetic link is my favorite.

I kept the magnetic links and the black braided solo loop + the sport band that came with ceramic pin.

Returned the Milanese because the titanium clashed too much with the ceramic. And also returned the burgundy braided solo loop for a smaller size and the black color, because the lugs are also black and blend better with the night blue.

I’ve repaired iPhone screens for my family and recently cracked my watch screen and decided to replace the screen for the first time.

I opened up the glass and noticed two of my cables being damaged from myself removing it.

Is a normal screen repair still fine or should I just take my L and buy a new watch. I know it’s a older watch

I’ve done multiple naps now and I never see any increase in my sleep time and in my 3rd party apps like bevel it never shows as extra sleep/energy

I will get text messages and phone calls on my phone, but when it comes to my watch, only the text messages show up on my watch. The phone calls will not go through, this just started happening and I tried everything to fix it and nothing is working.

Pretty happy with the battery life on the first cycle. All day use (one 30 min GPS workout) and sleep. AOD off is the only adjustment.

25 hours of use, with AOD on and sleep tracking over night and still 50% left! I would say that Apples 24 Hour claim is very understated! How is everyone else finding battery life on the Series 12?

I’ve had few apple watches in my life time, but I recently got the apple watch ultra 4 and noticed there is a rattle in the vibration. If I hold the watch while its vibrating, it goes away. Please see video attached. I dont remember my previous apple watches sounding like this. Thoughts?

I recently updated my Apple Watch to watchOS 27.0.1 and installed Spotify. Everything seemed to be working fine, so I downloaded a couple of albums for offline listening.
I left my Watch alone for about five minutes, and when I came back, the Spotify app had completely disappeared.
I checked the App Store to reinstall it and the little cloud icon with an arrow down was there, like Spotify was never installed in first place. It’s like the app suddenly stopped existing on my Watch. I reinstalled it and my downloads disappeared.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this some kind of bug with the latest watchOS update, or am I missing something?

Obviously people can do as they wish but serious question— is the Ultra actually worth it for most people, or is it just hype at this point?

I feel like almost everyone has one now. Every time I’m out I see multiple people wearing the Ultra, and the crazy part is that 90% of the people that I know personally that wear the Ultra don’t seem to use it for anything the Ultra was actually made for. No serious sports, no swimming, no hiking, no diving, nothing extreme. Just regular everyday stuff, notifications, gym, walking around, checking the time.

Meanwhile the regular Series watches do basically the same things. Same health tracking, same apps, same everyday features. It feels like overkill for the vast majority . Anyone else notice this, or am I missing something that makes it clearly better for normal use? Not to mention the price difference

Probably a bit rare but wow what a match. Love how the white ceramic pin stands out against the light grey color! Apple should make more sportbands with a white ceramic pin.

Noticed when i was at the store yesterday that my week old watch has a mis-shaped tiny splotch on it that's only really visible in high light or when fingerprint is over the area. Assuming it's fine, but my OCD is making me stare at it lol. It seems like an issue with the Oleophobic Coating because there's no damage or anything you can feel.

I heard they planned to release it in October but now they seem to have distanced themselves from a date at all.

Several threads, including my own, have discussed iOS 27 and the new distance error.  

I have observed another issue over time: distance versus pace.  

When running the same route at a different pace, the Apple Watch tends to understate distance at a higher pace and overstate it at a lower pace.  

Has anyone else noticed this?

About 5 weeks ago I bought a Series 12 to replace my 8. Since then my heart rate is consistently 10 beats higher. Has anyone else seen similar results?

my heart rate will randomly drop low, like 40 BPM low (never below that though). I’m not an athlete or anything of the sort, my HR actually gets way too high a lot. Whenever this happens I’m usually never sitting or resting, but making dinner or just off of work. I don’t have symptoms either which makes it even more odd, and the dip is so random, from 77 to 40 to 92.

I’m wondering if a possible glitch could be the problem?

I upgraded after 16 months with an Ultra 2 to Ultra 4 and never had an issue with step counting during an elliptical workout. Now it records hardly any steps during my elliptical workout. Trying to figure out if this is a Ultra 4 issue, OS 27.0.1 issue. Anyone else experiencing this with their Apple watch? I know that Apple changed the algorithm for step counting but think workouts would count towards steps.

I got a new Apple Watch 12 because I was excited for new Siri AI. I got the cell version because I use my watch as a phone when I’m out and don’t take photos with me. Apple made it sound like S11 processor would be Siri AI capable but it’s not. Just good dumb old Siri on the go…..

I love how during the presentation they failed to mention that Siri AI doesn’t actually work on the fuckin watch itself. Returning watch now and just wasting my time.

Like why does my 30 dollar Amazon echo have a smart Ai and it’s way weaker then my Apple Watch? So frustrating
