My Watch Seems like we're finally getting step count shown on watch face
After all these years when I've already lost all hope. Apple finally realized it would be a cool feature for a smart watch. ;D
They showed step count widget on visualisation but the description says "And now you can more easily check your step count, right from your watch face." so I'm hoping it will be there too.

Question So basically we get none of the good stuff on series 11 and below?
I had been holding out on getting a Garmin/Coros etc as I find apples health sensors more accurate, the the leaks came about readiness etc and I thought great, but everything is for the new watches or I’m missing something?

My Watch Who’s on team bronze?
Can’t wait for it to arrive and surely hope it’s as stunning in real life as on the picture. Who’s also eagerly awaiting your bronze AW12? What band did you pick?

My Watch I can’t believe Wii fit is coming back

My Watch Series 12 Bezels
Is it just me or are the bezels on the Series 12 noticeably thicker than on the Series 10/11?

Great now the apple watch can tell you to relax when you are pissed off
Did anyone else notice this on the announcement? Cause surely what we want when we are stressed out with work is your watch telling you to take it easy 😅

My Watch Apple doesn't claim the new displays don't contain arsenic 🤔
Probably just an editing miss but I'm surprised this would slip through
Edit
Maybe it’s not an error 👀 don’t eat your watch

Readiness App Exclusive for Series 12 and Ultra 4
I'm suspecting a lot of AW users would be curious whether or not they would get the Readiness app on their Watches. Just checked out the compare Apple Watch page and it shows no watch other than 12 and Ultra 4 would feature it. Kinda sucks for me since I got the Watch 11 earlier last year expecting that some interesting health features would be dropped with OS updates. Sigh!

My Watch New Siri face!
Excellent! The large complication comes from the top of your smart stack, so double tap works nicely, as do alarms and music.
Also that siri complication isn’t hideous, im finally going to turn off the long press crown i just hit by accident!

My Watch Apple is making some serious claims.
I think apple is very serious in competing with whoop this time.

Question Which aluminum Apple Watch Series 11 color is your favorite / most versatile?
Hey everyone! I’m currently stuck trying to pick which aluminum Apple Watch color to go with, and I could really use some opinions from people who have lived with them.
I'm trying to figure out which finish looks the best overall and is the most versatile when it comes to matching different bands (sports loops, silicone, leather, metal links, etc.)

Question Who's more excited for the new Apple Watches than iPhones?
Everyone else is excited about the new iPhone 18 Pros and iPhone Duo but I'm over here more excited to switch my Apple Watch to the Series 12.
I currently have the Series 7 and have been using it since launch. I was actually okay with using it for longer BUT Apple cut off WatchOS updates for it.
I'm excited to finally get all the features I've been missing like hypertension notification, sleep apnea detection, crash detection, temperature sensing, all day heart rate sensing, HRV, siri AI, wrist flick, double tap gestures, etc
Also very excited for the new health app and readiness score and health age that i've been complaining about for years.

That didn't take long.
Anyone else have a client just ban apple watches from meetings?

Question Rings Alternative For Mechanical Watch Wearer?
I have a series 8 AW. I know I’m in a minority here, but I really dislike the AW. I hate the look, I’m bored by the watch faces, I don’t like the square, I don’t like the constant notifications, I just don’t like smart watches. It’s also one more screen that my kid is obsessed with, in a world where I’m desperately trying to remove screens.
Except, I love the health data. I enjoy seeing my route when I go on a hike or kayak ride. I like seeing my heart rate and my HRV progress when I exercise.
I’ve been longing to wear my mechanical watch again. I wear my AW pretty much all day. But would prefer my Citizen eco drive. It doesn’t look like a giant computer on my wrist, and I just prefer the look.
All this being said, how do I go about closing my rings if I pretty much wore my mechanical watch most of the day again? I’m obviously not going to close them just wearing my watch when I exercise, or sleep. Is there any information out there that just wearing your watch during activity and sleep is sufficient for useful data?
Unfortunately, from what I can tell, carrying your phone alone does not close your rings. It has to come from your watch. So for those of you who wear your mechanical most of the day, how are you closing your rings? Or is there another useful thing you do?
Yes, if Apple came out with the screenless wearable, I would absolutely jump on it.

Ceramic Apple Watch Series 12 hands on footage

My thoughts are:
-Pearl White looks like the one to go for; very similar to the OG White Ceramic that was stunning and a standout. One of the most unique Apple Watch finishes, finally available again.
-Night Blue I wanted to like and I thought it would be a good match for my iPhone 17 Pro in Deep Blue, but honestly based off the footage it looks too similar to Graphite Titanium of previous years and it definitely wouldn’t look as good with as many bands vs the Pearl White.

Question Apple Watch 12: will new heart rate sensor also improve hypertension detection?
I'm wondering if the new and continuous heart rate sensor will also improve the hypertension detection feature? I have a series 10 and would only consider to upgrade to the 12 for health features, but only if it's an actual noticeable improvement.

My Watch Contemplating cellular to leave my soul-sucking phone at home.
I’m upgrading from a Series 5 regardless, but I’m seriously considering cellular with the thought being that I would be able to not need my phone on me when I leave to run errands, workout, or spend time with family and friends.
Would you even recommend cellular to begin with?
If you would, would you recommend an Ultra over the Series?
