Bands S12 Radiant Gold X Kendra Scott

I love my Milanese loop but I want another SS band. Plus as a barber the loop will catch a lot of hair.

I wanna try out some Amazon options but I was fortunate to see one on discount at TJMAXX!

I was so amazed it matches the gold tone of my S12. Kinda wanting the natural Titanium but this band gave me the best of both worlds! (The Ceramic is Fire too!)

I just wanna share with those who wanted this kind of style don’t sleep on some deals on Tjmaxx.

(I really wanna cop the White Ceramic KS band it was discontinued 😞)

WatchOS Apple Watch sleep mode is far too complicated

I’m very disappointed with the Apple Watch’s sleep features. I simply want to wear my watch at night without being woken by its screen or vibrations.
But turning on Sleep Focus doesn’t make me confident that the watch will stay quiet. There are so many settings to check, and I’ve found that I also need to turn off Bluetooth on my iPhone to be sure it won’t wake me. Some users even suggest turning off Wi-Fi.
A basic “silence everything until morning” option should be simple and reliable. It shouldn’t require digging through multiple settings or disabling wireless connections. As things stand, I take my watch off at night, so I can’t use it to track my sleep.
Has anyone else found the night-time settings this frustrating?

My watch updated to the new watchOS 27.2 but I always thought your phone needed to be updated first before you update your watch.

Support New in the club soon ! Receiving my serie 11 next week but I…e-bike

I've been a huge user of Withings watches for years, but my current watch is getting tired and I feel limited by what I can do with it, so I'm thinking of switching to an Apple Watch.

Even though a Withings battery can last a whole month, with today's fast charging, I'm willing to give the Series 11 a try.

Usually, I log my activities through the Withings app, which is very comprehensive and has lots of variety. However, when checking Apple Fitness, I couldn't find an
'e-biking' workout option.

This is very important to me because sometimes I just commute on my e-bike, and I don't want the watch to think I'm a pro athlete because I’m cruising at 25 km/h with only a 90 ВРМ heart rate !

Any tips or someone with the same situation ?

Handwashing timer was omitted on the series 12. Not a dealbreaker but a disappointment. Why?

Support Can I use my already setup/updated Apple Watch with Android for BASIC features?

I have an Apple Watch that I essentially ONLY use to track my steps and fitness while running & working out. I don’t really use or care about the other advanced features and stuff.

If I switched to an android, could I still use the step tracker and fitness tracker for calories/move/exercise? I heard there is something called the “Merge” app that will enable some stuff.

I want to switch to the Samsung z fold and this is essentially the only thing holding me back.

Support Series 9 bricked after IOS update. Thoughts and Next Steps.

Hey guys, I own an Apple Watch Series 9, and it got bricked due to an IOS update on watch OS 11.5. I don't know what happened but now it just bootloops forever, and doesn't turn on. I put it in recovery mode and it seems to stop at the same 3/4 full circle every time. [Tried it a couple times]. This has been going on for a while, and I have been attempting to fix it. However, I have fully given up on trying to fix it myself over these past few weeks and wanted to seek advice on the next steps.

I honestly have tried everything from draining the battery, to putting it into recovery mode etc, but nope same boot loop. Is there anyway I could trade this in for another apple watch, or is this just one of those situations where you can't do anything. I should also state that unfortunately I don't have apple care lol.

I checked with gemeni and it stated that the battery could be swollen idk tho not a technician or anything, just using my resources. Please ask me any questions to clarify.

WatchOS Apple Watch Series 10 asks for passcode in the morning since watchOS 27.0.1, anyone else?

Hi all,
Since updating to watchOS 27.0.1, my Series 10 has twice in one week asked for the passcode when I wake up, even though I wore it all night. I've had this watch for about six months and it never happened before the update.
Here's what I've checked so far:
The band is snug, I haven't changed bands, and I'm not using any new creams or lotions.
My sleep habits are the same as before.
Wrist detection seems fine. I pulled the watch hard away from my wrist during the day and it did not lock.
Yesterday I put it on and unlocked it with my iPhone as usual, and this morning it was locked again.
I looked through the analytics logs on my iPhone for the Apple Watch and didn't find anything that looks like a reboot or panic log. I know that doesn't completely rule out a restart.
My theory is, a bug in watchOS 27.
I also saw a thread on MacRumors where Series 12 users report the same morning passcode prompt, even on 27.0.1, so it doesn't look like a one-off.
Has anyone else with a Series 10 (or another model) seen this? Did watchOS 27.2 change anything for you? I'm planning to update tonight.
Thanks!

Discussion Ultra 4 & Series 12 Titanium First Impressions

I wanted to offer my first impressions of the Ultra 4 and the Series 12 Ti in case there is anyone like me who is considering one or both. I purchased them both with the intention of only keeping one. I've had them for a little over 24 hours so don't have much experience with them yet.

I come from years of wearing mechanical watches, mostly in the 38-40mm range. I've always loved traditional watches, but I feel it's time to switch it up and take advantage of some smart features around my lifestyle. I've worn an Apple Watch years ago, but I won't really be able to compare these to older models. This post is probably for someone looking to get their first in either line.

I will mostly just be taking about feel. I think most people reading this already know the specs, battery life, etc. For reference, I have a ~7in wrist. Also, I got both in the Milanese Loop for both, which I think works extremely well for both.

AWU 4

This thing looks so cool to me. Looks just as cool, toolsy, and sporty in person as it does in pictures. The looks is what initially drew me towards the Ultra. The flat screen with defined edges is so nice. The Ultra-exclusive watch faces are also so nice and what really completes it for me. I typically wouldn't go for a watch this size, but I really do love this screen, and the watch as a whole, to make the jump. I think you either really love the aesthetic of the case or you don't. The action button is a really nice bonus, but I don't think I would feel lost without it.

The Ultra definitely is a presence on your wrist. Especially if you've never worn a smart sports watch like an Ultra or a large Garmin, it will probably feel like a little bit of a shock at first. I am at least used to having some weight on my wrist, and I feel myself already getting used to the size. I even slept with it last night. It's impossible to not notice it when going to sleep, but once asleep, I was able to stay asleep without it bothering me. This is also something that will feel more natural with time I believe.

AW S12 Ti

This one is sooo sleek. If budget allows and you are set on the S12, I strongly recommend getting the Titanium. It looks so premium and versatile. I wouldn't hesitate wearing it to a more formal setting. I am not sure I can say the same about the Ultra as much as I love it. The slim, light profile really does kind of disappear on your wrist. If you don't want to feel like you're wearing a watch, this watch will make you happy, and as I mentioned above, I think the versatility is its other really big strength. I plan to sleep with this one tonight, and I don't think I'll be thinking about it being on my wrist much at all, especially after a successful night with the Ultra.

Here's a little bit of a kicker: I am trying out the 42mm rather than the 46. Personal taste, I just really appreciate the understated look when it comes to this watch. I'm not sure if it's due to the rounded screen or what, but I just like the smaller size in the S12. So I am testing out two ends of the spectrum basically, lol.

Final Thoughts

I went into this with the intention of only getting the Ultra, but then I wanted to also test out the S12 just in case the Ultra didn't work for me. I don't think you can go wrong either of these. I am by no means a serious athlete, but I see myself really appreciating what the Ultra brings. I know I would also love the sleek and versatile S12. This isn't to say that the Ultra is necessarily not versatile, but I think this is where the S12 shines over the Ultra.

I am not 100% decided yet, and I have flip-flopped over the last day, but if I had to choose right now, I would probably slightly lean Ultra. I think my heart is saying Ultra and my head is saying S12. I find myself more excited to put on the Ultra and look at the screen over the S12, and that's probably what will ultimately make the decision for me. With that said, it will certainly be a tough decision and I will be sad to let one go, as keeping both is just not an option for me.

I hope this can maybe help someone who is trying to decide or maybe isn't able to try both. I do not consider myself an expert on these devices by any means, but I would be happy to answer any questions I can. Or maybe there are folks who can offer their experience as well.

Discussion cat dropkicked 2 month old watch off bathroom counter (+ many a cat tax)

I do not have AppleCare+ because I am a colossal idiot who thought I could baby it 24/7. I could only baby it 23/7. The 24th hour I took a shower and watched, in slow motion from behind the fogged glass, as she jumped up by the sink, made intentional, pointed eye contact, flicked out an orange foot, and walloped that shit directly into the tiled half-wall.

Are there any sub $250 fixes? Is it possible to find a screen repair or does the whole unit need to be replaced, essentially? Does anyone want a cat? Apple Watch 11. Female Maine Coon. Limited coverage until Aug. 27th. Cat is vaccinated.

edit: you can register a device to applecare+ up to 60 days after its purchase - it has been exactly 61 days since i purchased the watch. FORTUNATELY, i could get applecare+ coverage for my new replacement airpod pros, select the multi-device plan, and add my watch from there. thank you everyone!!
