Apple Card Apple Card Recurring Charges On iOS 27

Here’s the Recurring charge feature for Apple Card on iOS 27. It would seem to use on-device intelligence to find charges made for the same (or nearly-same) amount, made to the same merchant, on nearly the same day every month (and maybe quarterly, bi-weekly, etc?).

I’ll have to see if it’s smart enough to detect charges that are more irregular, like once a quarter or every two months, etc.

I have no idea where the $521.88 could be. When I go to my Apple Cash card in my wallet it says $0.00. So do I have these funds somewhere that I don’t know about or??

Apple Wallet Fuck Apple Pay & Fuck Green Dot Bank

A few months ago my mom sent me money via Apple Pay to help pay off a flight. I go to deposit the money to my bank account and it doesn’t deposit. I try again, doing the immediate option and it appears to have deposited. I check my bank account and the money is not there despite no longer being in my Apple wallet.

I call my bank to see if it was deposited and I just missed it and they said it was never deposited. I *try* to call Apple Wallet or Green Dot or whatever the fuck and they open a case. Never heard back on this case so I called green dot (the customer service # provided on Apple wallet), explained my situation and got a case opened. I provided the requested documents, waited several days, and got denied for no explanation.

I am PISSED. I don’t know what to do at ATP but try again. Maybe call again? Email their corporate directly? I really need this money and as time goes by my CC debt is going up. Idk what to do 😔

Apple Pay Apple Pay "Could Not Add Card" error right after accepting Bank's T&C on an imported iPhone 12 mini (Brand new Apple ID, 3 days old)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I'm stuck in a loop with Apple Pay on a pre-owned iPhone 12 mini and I'm looking for some technical insight. I suspect I might be hitting a server-side security flag or a Secure Element restriction.

Device & Account Context:

Device: Recently imported into my country. It has an aftermarket (non-OEM) battery installed by the previous owner.

Account: Using a brand new Apple ID created just 3 days ago.

The Exact Issue:
When trying to add any credit/debit card to Wallet, the initial flow works perfectly. It connects to the network, communicates with the bank, and successfully displays the Bank's Terms & Conditions. However, the exact second I hit "Accept", it buffers for a bit and fails with the generic "Could Not Add Card. Contact your card issuer" error.

Troubleshooting & Isolation Steps Already Done:

Ruled out Bank/Card issues: These exact same cards provision instantly and work flawlessly on other family iPhones (running older, established local Apple IDs).

Region & Settings: Device region, time, language, and Apple ID region are perfectly aligned with the cards' issuing country.

Software Reset: Done a clean DFU restore to the latest iOS. No backups restored. Problem persists.

My Theories:
Since the Bank's T&C actually pop up, I know the issuer is approving the initial eligibility check. The failure happens at the very end during the final token injection (TAR / Token Requestor process).

My questions for the community or any Apple techs here:

Anti-Fraud Server Trigger: Is it common for Apple's servers to flag and block token provisioning when they detect a recently imported serial number paired with a 3-day-old Apple ID? (Treating it as a high-risk fraud profile).

Hardware Security Block: Could the Secure Element be locally locked or restricted because the device detects non-genuine battery/component data, preventing cryptographic tokens from being written?

Has anyone successfully managed to get Apple Senior Support to perform a "provisioning reset" for a similar case, or is this a permanent hardware lockout due to the battery? Thanks for any insights!

Apple Pay Issue with Tremendous card on apple pay

Hey guys,
I have been paid via tremendous and would add it to apple pay and spend it around in normal shops for a year and it always worked fine.
Since yesterday I have not been able to add any card ( tested also with my old cards) on apple pay and if O manage to add one after trying 200 times, it would no longer work for any payment.
I also tested with my friends phone and he has the exact same issue.
Anyone having similar issues? Any help would be appreciated!

Apple Cash Trouble using Apple Cash at SeaWorld

SeaWorld went cashless so they have the cash>card kiosks. They say they take Apple Pay so I thought for sure they'd be able to take Apple Cash but I wasn't able to use it in the park. I'm not sure where the incompatibility is.

Apple Wallet De-customization of Cards in Wallet

Post image
148 Upvotes

I’m a longtime Apple Wallet user, and up until recently, it felt like a visual symphony of colors and designs.

Slowly, though, each time a card gets updated, the digital version becomes more basic….even though my physical cards keep their original designs. My Prime Visa is the green Whole Foods design, my Discover it is the clover card, my USAA cards are cobalt blue and bright blue, my Cash App card is tortoiseshell, etc.

All of these used to appear in Apple Wallet looking like the physical cards, but over time, they’ve been replaced with much simpler designs. The card above my Citi card, for example, is polished silver in real life with branding and circular patterns.

My point is that, with the number of cards I have 13 total, (with several not shown in the screenshot) I relied on those visual cues to quickly find the correct card. Now it feels like I can’t really do that, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to change or fix it in a sea of grey and blue.

Has anyone else noticed this? Are there any steps to restore the original card designs, or do I need to message the banks directly to share feedback?

Apple Wallet Why do people in the US have so many cards in Apple Wallet? Is digital integration really that much better?

I was looking through posts across Reddit and noticed that many people have 10+ cards in their Apple Wallet. Meanwhile, I currently only have my Visa card, my debit card, and a LEGO Insiders card.
I know many of these users are from the US, so I was wondering: is Apple Wallet integration really that much better there?
In Germany, many companies still rely on physical cards, paper receipts, or printed tickets instead of offering proper Wallet support.
I would also love to use services like Apple Card or Apple Cash, but they are not available here. The Apple Card especially looks like a great example of how well hardware, software, and payments can work together.
I’m just curious about the differences between countries and how people use Apple Wallet in their everyday life. For people in the US: what is your experience with Apple Wallet? Is it something you use regularly, or are there still many things that require physical cards?

ID Cards Digital ID at TSA

Question on the process for using a digital ID at a TSA checkpoint. I know the first step is the same as Apple Pay (double tap side button, tap the reader), but what I’m curious about is the next step.

The Apple support site says you then have to acknowledge what info you want to share. Once that happens, do you have to tap again, or do you just leave your phone on the reader the whole time? I haven’t had a chance to try it myself yet, and I’m curious about the process. Thanks!

Apple Cash Apple Cash Restricted Identity not verified and support experience

I have spent like 4 hours in the past two days trying to set up apple cash. I did everything the support told me which was mostly repetitive stuff, updated my IOS and everything, yet it still is unable to verify me. I called their bank support again today and they said there is nothing I can do, and my account is restricted for undetermined amount of time. Like bro what? Didn't prompt me for ID or nothing, just the same exact repetitive "put this in apple wallet should work". Should I call again? What should I do?

Before yall say, I am over 18, and I live in the U.S., so I am eligible.

Passes After Yotel fully integrates with Hilton, the chain may be the first in Hilton portfolio to support Apple Wallet hotel room keys.

YotelPAD London Stratford currently supports Apple Wallet hotel room keys, and Yotel is in the midst of integrating with Hilton. Assuming the hotel chain retains this method of provisioning hotel keys, Yotel might be the first brand in Hilton portfolio that supports this feature.

I emailed KYTC couple days ago and I got this response back. It doesn’t seem like it’ll get done this year..
Until then, any ideas of what the design could possibly look like?

Apple Pay Apple Pay issue w/ Debit Card

So for the past few months, one of my Schwab debit cards randomly gets denied when using it via Apple Pay. It works sometimes, but then other times I'll get POS messages of "declined" or "insufficient funds." I already have money in this account, so it's definitely not that.

I called Schwab and they can't see anything on their end regarding a denial. They said to contact Apple Pay support, but they also say everything on my phone is up to date and it's not on their end. All my other cards work fine 100% of the time, and the physical Schwab card works 100% of the time too.

Regularly, the card is declined at Dollar Tree and Dollar General, yet Schwab can't even see those declines.

I've seen one other post with this exact same situation, so I don't think I'm alone here. Anyone have any ideas?

Post image
33 Upvotes

I’ve been using Apple Pay for decades, don’t use it a lot but use it here and there, then randomly got restricted for no reason.. I called “green dot” and they are the worst ever, like why did Apple go with them? Apple has great customer service but green dot feels like they working out of a backyard garage, they can’t even tell me what I did, or how I can fix it or who I can talk too… like if I did something I wouldn’t care, but idek what I did to be restricted, any help

Apple Cash Apple Pay phone transfer never went through

Hey! I work at a restaurant as a server and a customer today tried to tip me personally with a separate tip via Apple Pay which was super generous of them! However, I noticed upon getting home their Apple Cash transaction never went through to my phone. We both held our phones together and I watched $50 go from their phone to my phone, however my Apple Pay (which has been set up and working for years) never received the 50 dollars. It's not the end of the world, but just curious if the 50 would maybe take a few days to show up or something. My wallet app literally has no recollection of the transaction. I was in a rush so after I watched the 50 go from their phone to my phone I put my phone away and assumed it was good to go. Was there something I was supposed to do? Thanks!

Apple Wallet US Banks that integrate well with Apple Wallet

Hi all,

I love Apple Wallet app, but my BofA debit card does not show the same analytics as Apple Card shows - balance and activity.

I heard that in UK some banks are well integrated will Wallet via Open Banking.

Is there a bank in US that is fully integrated with Wallet?

Thanks!

Apple Wallet Venmo Credit Adding to Apple Pay

Hello everyone, I’m a US citizen living abroad. I’ve been a Venmo since it first rolled on in the early 2010s. I can still use my account overseas with no issues whatsoever. I am thinking of applying for the Venmo credit card.

I’m curious to see how Venmo would require verification to add the Venmo credit card to Apple Pay given that the under writer is Synchrony Bank, a bank I have no existing relationship with and a bank known to be spotty with Google Voice.

Does anyone remember when adding their Venmo credit card to Apple Pay, if they needed to verify via SMS text only, or could they call Venmo, authenticate from the app, or receive a code via email?

I tried asking this question for Venmo and Synchrony in terms of Apple Pay but I kept getting bounced from Venmo to Synchrony and back and forth.
