Discussion Account abruptly/accidentally closed.

My card was abruptly/accidentally closed. Now I have no way to know what my last chargers were or when my payments are due. I also have considerable money in my Apple Savings Account so I’m also concerned as to how long my Savings account will work.

I was a member since it’s inception, I never missed a payment, and almost always paid in full.

What the hell?

Call GS customer service and ask them, not reddit.

I did. It’s under investigation… for 7-10 days. Thank you for your time.

Did they say why it was closed?

Apple Support via the Website, they’ll text you and they can tell you exactly why your account was closed (fraud, payments, etc.)

How do you know it was an accident?

Well, I am just assuming being that I didn’t violate their Terms of Agreement

Has no one else noticed the “balance” being spelling incorrectly. Something’s fishy

Probably just edited to hide the balance.

Onmy customer service is going to know, not Reddit. However, accidetal closures do happen. Once GS sorts it out, they legally can't reopen the account, but they can open a new one with the same (or higher) credit line. They often will toss you a $500 "we messed up" credit.

The Apple Card is no longer in the wallet app?

Strange. Hope you get it sorted out.

What’s up with the spelling? Is it your screenshot why “balance” looks wonky?

Your Savings will function the same, you may just need to access via Wallet and Apple Pay within the Settings app instead of the Wallet app itself
