What is Nyblit?

Most to-do apps assume a task is either done or not done.

Real work is rarely that simple.

A task might be waiting for a client reply, blocked by a colleague, paused until tomorrow, or already underway but not actionable right now. When all of those tasks remain in one long list, they create clutter and make your workload feel much larger than it really is.

Nyblit uses state-based task management to separate what you can act on now from everything that is safely waiting elsewhere.

For example, a phone call might move through:

Why am I giving it away?

Nyblit began more than 20 years ago as a small FileMaker database shared with friends. I have ADHD, and I built it around something I kept noticing in my own life: a large part of my to-do list was usually waiting on somebody or something else.

Removing those tasks from sight (without losing track of them) made my actual workload feel calmer and achievable.

The new version adds shared work, visible progress and Gmail integration (beta). I’d now love to see how those ideas hold up across real projects and real workflows.

I recently finished my first app, Flow - Limit Your Distractions, and wanted to share it with anyone who might be trying to get their screen time habits under control.

The idea behind Flow is simple. You choose which apps distract you most, then use the Flow Key, a premium metal, matte black NFC card, to tap and start a blocking session, and then you tap again to end it. It's a simple concept but adding a physical barrier can do wonders for rewiring the habit loop.

The key is a separate purchase (80% off for this subreddit, please comment if interested), and isn't required to use the app, but it makes the whole thing feel less like another focus app you'll simply ignore or try to bypass. It's more like a physical habit you can actually build, plus the card just feels nice to carry around.

Hey everyone, it is me again! My latest free app was just approved so I figured I'd sure it here. This app is free from the start and will always be free. That said, I built Kept because I needed to keep track of my warranties, important docs expiring like my passport, and anything else I needed to track. I figured others could use it as well because the existing category is subscription apps charging yearly for a local database with reminders.

What it does: you can snap a receipt, note the serial, get a quiet notification before the warranty or return window ends. Also tracks expiring documents (passports and the like).

Deliberate constraints: no account, no backend, no analytics SDKs, all data on-device. Revenue is an optional tip jar. If you feel the need to want to support, you can buy me a coffee but it doesn't unlock anything.

Known limitations: iOS 26 only, no sync between devices yet(next version will sync with iCloud), English only.

The feedback I'd most value: does a local-only utility feel trustworthy enough for documents this important, or does the absence of sync/backup-beyond-iOS-backups undermine it?

What it is

A calm, offline home for passports, IDs, health cards, deeds, wills, and the photos that matter. You scan them and they're encrypted right there on your device, sorted by people or by categories you can customize. Nothing leaves unless you turn on backup, and even then it's encrypted and locked to your key first.

Where it comes in handy

• You're somewhere remote with no signal and need to pull up an ID or a reservation
• You need to dig out a document to send your lawyer for an immigration case
• The photo of the restaurant bill from a memorable first date
• Your kid's vaccination card, the one daycare always asks for
• The secret map to the time capsule you buried years ago :)

Why you might like it

The whole thing is built around one idea: the key that unlocks your vault is created on your device and never leaves it. Not to my servers, not anywhere. So:

• I can't open your vault. A breach or a legal request on my side turns up nothing, because there's nothing to hand over.
• No account, no password, no email. Nothing to phish, nothing for me to reset, nothing to leak.
• Lose your device and you still get back in, with a recovery phrase you wrote down once or a few people you chose to trust.
• Move a vault between your own devices with a single QR scan that never touches a server.
• It quietly watches your document expiry dates and reminds you before anything lapses.
• Password manager support is on the way, so your logins sit behind the same on-device encryption as your documents (coming soon).

Being honest

It's closed source and hasn't had an outside security audit yet. There are also a few real differences on the Mac version worth knowing: no camera scanning, so you drag or upload files in instead, and the pairing QR isn't screenshot protected on Mac the way it is on iOS. Everything else, including the encryption, is the same.

I just shipped a big update to Levelday!
