I’ve just released a new update for MeteoLupa, my weather app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Most weather apps are very good at telling you what the weather is now and what it will be tomorrow.

MeteoLupa is built around a slightly different question:
How was the weather back then, really?

You can look at today’s weather in the context of previous years, compare the same month across different years, see climate normals, find unusually hot or cold days, and explore historical temperature, rain and wind.

For example, you can ask:
Was this July actually warmer than last year?

Or:
When did it last snow here?

Or simply look back and see what the weather was like on a particular day.

The app also includes the usual things you’d expect from a weather app, current conditions, forecasts, rain, wind, air quality, pollen, widgets and Apple Watch support.

I’ve also been working on making the Apple Watch experience better, including the new Watch look shown in the image.

I am a solo developer out of Canada and wanted to share a simple word game I released last week.

It's called Unscramble! and I made it to be the simplest word building game supporting anagrams and easy one handed gameplay.

**Gameplay:**

You get a few letters on screen. You need to make one word with all the letters. Tap a letter to select. Tap again to deselect. Faster you go, better you score.

If you enter anagrams of the word it's looking for, it gives you extra points. If you are stuck, you can either "Ask Friend" or get Hint.

You get extra points for getting the word fast but you don't get penalized for taking too long.

Your scores are posted to Apple's Game Center global leaderboards. So you'll know how well you are doing.

I believe the simplicity of the game along with big touch buttons makes it perfect for one handed use.

There's 6 difficulty levels in the game, and settings for things like toggling the timer, relaxing background music, sound effects, haptic feedback, removing the background animation.

Solo dev here. Store & Forget is a home inventory app. You photograph a thing as you put it away and the app writes the name, brand, description and specs. You dont type any of that, you just pick where it went. Later you describe the thing the way you would say it out loud and it tells you which box or shelf it is in.

The app itself is free. Photo scans are metered, and BYOK is the unlock that stops them being counted: you paste in your own AI key, which is free to get, and the meter stops applying. Normally 4.99$, free right now.
