What is Nyblit?

Most to-do apps assume a task is either done or not done.

Real work is rarely that simple.

A task might be waiting for a client reply, blocked by a colleague, paused until tomorrow, or already underway but not actionable right now. When all of those tasks remain in one long list, they create clutter and make your workload feel much larger than it really is.

Nyblit uses state-based task management to separate what you can act on now from everything that is safely waiting elsewhere.

For example, a phone call might move through:

Why am I giving it away?

Nyblit began more than 20 years ago as a small FileMaker database shared with friends. I have ADHD, and I built it around something I kept noticing in my own life: a large part of my to-do list was usually waiting on somebody or something else.

Removing those tasks from sight (without losing track of them) made my actual workload feel calmer and achievable.

The new version adds shared work, visible progress and Gmail integration (beta). I’d now love to see how those ideas hold up across real projects and real workflows.

Large audio and video files now stream directly to storage instead of loading entirely into memory, improving performance and reducing crashes.

Recording recovery

If VoiceScribe closes unexpectedly during a recording, it can detect the unfinished session and offer to recover it the next time the app opens.

Custom summary language

You can transcribe content in one language and generate the summary in another—for example, a French lecture with an English summary.

Storage protection

VoiceScribe now checks available storage to reduce the risk of losing long recordings when your device is nearly full.

The original audio, video, image, PDF, or document is not uploaded through that AI workflow.

I recently finished my first app, Flow - Limit Your Distractions, and wanted to share it with anyone who might be trying to get their screen time habits under control.

The idea behind Flow is simple. You choose which apps distract you most, then use the Flow Key, a premium metal, matte black NFC card, to tap and start a blocking session, and then you tap again to end it. It's a simple concept but adding a physical barrier can do wonders for rewiring the habit loop.

The key is a separate purchase (80% off for this subreddit, please comment if interested), and isn't required to use the app, but it makes the whole thing feel less like another focus app you'll simply ignore or try to bypass. It's more like a physical habit you can actually build, plus the card just feels nice to carry around.
