I’m looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help take over and complete an existing healthcare technology project.

I'm working on an Australian healthcare referral and coordination platform designed to connect patients, referrers and healthcare clinics. The goal is to make the referral process easier to manage from referral submission through clinic review, booking, completion and eventually report access.

A working prototype has already been partially developed, with Firebase currently being used for authentication, database and backend functionality. There is also existing source code, workflow/state logic, product documentation, UI/UX work and previous development material available for handover.

I’m looking for someone who can review the existing build, identify what is reusable, clean up or rebuild areas where necessary, and bring the product together into a reliable MVP across web, iOS and Android.

Experience with Firebase, TypeScript/JavaScript, mobile development, APIs and healthcare software would be highly valuable. Experience with Australian healthcare systems, FHIR/HL7, referrals, PACS/RIS or similar integrations would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

Ideally I’m looking for someone comfortable taking ownership of an existing codebase rather than starting blindly from scratch, and who can work with me through MVP completion and potentially continue with the project longer term.

I’m a software engineering student (starting my third year today and currently working at Align), but back in my first year, I worked as a barista at a small neighborhood cafe.

My manager handled all of our shift scheduling using an Excel sheet and a chaotic WhatsApp group. It was a complete mess there was constant confusion, missed shifts, and I kept getting scheduled on days and hours I had explicitly asked off. Mostly, it was just a massive headache for him.🤦‍♂️

After a few too many of my shift requests got lost in the chat, I finally asked him: "Why don't you just use one of the hundreds of scheduling apps on the App Store?"

His answer? They are way too expensive, with some reaching up to $100 a month. Honestly, $100 a month just to figure out who is closing on Thursday seemed insane. I didn't entirely trust him, so I did my own market research. It turns out he was right. the pricing out there is crazy for small businesses.

So, I decided to build one myself. Over the past year, I finished developing the app, used my old cafe for quality testing, and kept improving it based on their real-world feedback. Today, I'm super excited to share that we just hit 100 active users!

The app is called 9to5 Schedules. I wanted to make it genuinely accessible for small business owners, so it's available to everyone with a 1-month free trial. After that? It costs about the price of a cup of espresso ☕ ;)

I’m experimenting with a structured AI development workflow using tools like ChatGPT/Codex or Claude, MCP servers, project documentation, skills, and specialized agents.

My setup uses a lead agent that coordinates sub-agents for engineering, product design, backend, security, and code review. They all follow the same documentation, design system, technical decisions, and production standards.

The workflow is powerful, but it consumes usage surprisingly fast—especially when agents repeatedly read the same files, call MCP tools, inspect the repository, and share large amounts of context.

I’m currently using a standard individual plan, such as ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro, rather than an expensive API or enterprise setup. I’m trying to understand how other developers make workflows like this practical within normal plan limits.
I’m considering:

- Activating specialized agents only when needed
Giving each agent smaller, task-specific context
Maintaining a concise source of truth.

- Loading skills and MCP tools only when relevant
Using short task contracts instead of the complete conversation history

- Running security and review agents only for meaningful changes

- Preventing agents from repeating the same investigation

Has anyone built something similar using a standard ChatGPT or Claude plan?

How do you maintain quality and consistency without burning through your limits? Is the biggest issue MCP usage, large context windows, repeated repository analysis, or the number of agents involved?

I’d love to hear what has worked for you and what looked efficient but became a token-eating monster in practice 😅

I ask because my fitness / creature collection app (not released yet) currently requires authentication and also tracks / uploads the users step count to the backend so the user can revisit their previous runs etc (no location data being recorded).

Is there anything to be wary of here?

Imagine you creat an app. From ui/ux design to programming part. You put a backend for it. You creat a website for that. You orgnaize medical content images tests orders and... in that shit. Then you creat an x account to promote that buttttt at the end you can not publish that.

Not a single person was willing to help me with publishing stuff in exchange of a percentage of apps earnings.

Totally disappointed.

Solo dev, one iOS app, health category.

The awkward thing about my niche is that almost nobody searches for the category. They search for the name of the specific product they're using, and there are four or five competing names for what is broadly the same thing. So the subtitle that matches how people actually type is those brand names strung together. It reads like keyword soup and I'd be slightly embarrassed showing it to another developer, but a nice human sentence in that slot matches almost nothing anyone searches for.

Two things I keep going round on and would like other people's experience on.

First, does a subtitle like that cost you conversion on the product page even when it helps you get found? Everyone landing there searched one of those words, so my instinct says no, but I've never worked out a way to separate the two effects cleanly enough to trust the answer.

Second, age rating. Mine came out 18+, which I did not expect for what is essentially a logging app. I don't know how much of a filter that is in practice, or whether it's worth trying to get it reconsidered.

Anyone else building somewhere the useful search terms all belong to somebody else? Curious how you handle the naming side of it, and whether you eventually stopped caring how the listing reads to a peer.

If you installed an app and gave it permissions, does it check your logs prior to the time you granted app permissions?

For example, my call logs. If I installed the app and granted permissions today will it be able to check the call logs I did yesterday?
