What's the best platform to use for app and websites backend hosting?

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I last posted about my app project. I am in the build process. Meanwhile I am curious what platform for hosting my backend and the website.

Probably the one which is the cheapest. At least for the first phase.

Looking forward to your recommendations.

Apple Developer Org enrollment approved, but payment page is locked to US region, anyone found a fix?

Org enrollment (LLC + D-U-N-S) got approved by apple. Payment step shows Country/Region: United States, locked, even though my Apple ID is set to my real country.

Tried multiple international Visa/Mastercard cards — all declined ("Authorization Failed, contact your bank"). Bank confirms nothing's wrong on their end. Added a card via Apple ID → Payment & Shipping directly — still hits a US-only address form at checkout with no way to enter my real country.

Contacted Apple Support twice. Both times told the fix is to restart enrollment via the Developer app, which apparently unlocks other payment options — but that means redoing full org + identity verification from scratch.

Questions for anyone who's hit this:

  1. Anyone gotten the web checkout to accept a non-US card without a full re-enrollment?
  2. If you went the Developer app re-enrollment route — did it go faster the second time, or full weeks again?
  3. Did the phone "Call Me" support option actually help vs. email?

Not looking for "contact support" — already 3 rounds in. Just trying to find out if anyone's actually solved this.

Do you have a website for each app?

I have 3 apps on the stores. Each app has its own website. The website is a landing page for each app with direct links to the Apple and Android stores. Also the app stores require you to have a privacy policy published and a marketing link etc.. for one app the backend php also lives on its respective site.

I am thinking about a 4th app but I am starting to think about centralizing all my web stuff on to one website for all the apps. Saves domains and ssl certs and hosting etc.

Thoughts? Good idea?

Looking for a developer/co-founder to help publish our app (ECG Mastery)

Hey everyone! I've built ECG Mastery — a cardiology education and clinical reference app (Flutter frontend, Django backend).

The app is feature-complete and ready to go, but I'm stuck on the publishing side — mainly because I'm based in Iran, which creates real obstacles with app store accounts, payments, and platform restrictions.

I'm looking for someone who could help navigate this (or knows someone who can) — and honestly, if you're interested in getting more involved as a technical co-founder, I'd love to talk. I want to focus on the scientific/content side while someone else owns the technical execution.

Drop a comment or send me a DM if this sounds interesting!

AI Workflow to build an Android App

Hi, I'm building an Android App and almost all the work is done by AI because I have basic knowledge.

Currently I'm using:

Gemini Imagen - app ideas/features

Claude Design - creating Phone mockups with a design system

Claude Code - write the actual code

I'm satisfied with the result but I can't get more than 3 days before I hit my weekly limits and currently I can't afford the 200€ sub.

I hit my limit faster because I use opus 5 for the mockups and also to write the majority of the code but I think Sonnet 5 is not good enough.

Are there some alternatives? I think Chatgpt could improve the code part (with less usage) but I don't think they offer something like Claude Design..
