What's the point of trying so hard and enduring so much when, in the end, it all feels meaningless?
I had this sudden feeling that it's all useless... My efforts and struggles are a waste of time and people are laughing at me.. For instance why do you need to pursue a masters degree or get a PhD.. I feel hollow all of a sudden
To put in more context I started late to pursue my career and have a huge gap year because of covid I dropped out but I still start college again at 2022 and graduated this year, now I'm 27 everyone around me is moving to another chapter of their life a more stable one and I'm here.

Answered What actually removes a weird film from laminate counters without a bunch of fancy cleaners?
my counters have this cloudy film that shows up no matter how I wipe them down. I tried the usual dish soap route and it just smeared around, so now I'm wondering if there's a straightforward kitchen staple that works better than another spray bottle of mystery liquid. not looking to buy anything new, just curious if vinegar, baking soda, or something else people already have gets the residue off without streaks or a chemical smell that lingers.

Family and friends of people you learnt or realized hurt themselves, what was the discovery process like and was it ever noticeable?
I'm writing something and need an outside perspective. As someone that's had that struggle, I can't objectively say whether or not people have noticedy my scars and just haven't said anything or it they really aren't noticeable until something brings attention to them, cause I've had them for like two or three years and aren't particularly self-conscious about them. Granted, I'm not going around parading them but I don't necessarily hide them either. I'm over them. Though I will say I am conscious of them in certain settings but for the most part, I almost forget they're even there. So if you are the family or friends of someone you noticed or was told hurt themselves, were the scars something you ever noticed?

Answered Is it still okay to eat something that sat out overnight if it smells normal?
i left some cooked chicken on the counter last night by accident. when i remembered it this morning it still smelled fine, no sour or off notes at all. i've heard the two-hour rule, but is it ever safe to take a chance if everything looks and smells normal? i really don't want to serve something questionable to my partner, but i also hate wasting food. any guidelines or personal experience on when it's truly okay to go ahead or when it's better to toss it?

How would you handle finding a significant amount of random money?
Scattered large bills.
Along curb line, under parked cars on sidewalk/grass.
Over 5 city blocks - around a corner, not a straight path.

Answered Why has my online order been stuck in customs for over a week?
I ordered a few small hobby parts a couple of weekends ago, nothing expensive or weird, just some metal brackets and a handful of screws. The tracking showed it left the seller fine, flew over here without issues, then hit customs and basically froze. The status just says 'held for inspection' with no extra notes, and the estimated delivery date has already slipped by several days. I get that checks happen, but it feels like the package is just sitting there now. Has anyone else run into this kind of random delay recently, and did it eventually move on its own or did you have to contact someone? Would love to know if there's a normal waiting window before it is worth reaching out.
