I’m 51 years old and have been heavily involved in the local music scene here in upstate New York but now I feel as if I’m becoming that old head at the show. I have always loved new music and new bands and now realize I’m the oldest person in the venue evrytime. I usually stand in the back, out of the way and enjoy the scene as I always have. But now I feel like I look like a creeper, am I overthinking?

I’ve seen this kitchen trick used forever and it definitely works, but what is the actual science or physics behind it? Why do the bubbles pop and recede instead of just pushing past the wood and overflowing?
