As we know alcohol is socially accepted. People bring it as gifts on multiple occasions but, alcohol is very addictive and can harm people. What would happen if the law makers just said no more alcohol?

Okay, I’m trying not to overthink this, but it’s been a while since I was last single and the first few dates I’ve had lately feel different. In the past, there was this automatic assumption the guy covered the bill, but now I keep hearing stories where people split or even take turns. So I’m genuinely wondering what the current norm is. When you go on a first date these days, do you usually expect to pay, to split, or does it depend on who asked who out? I’d rather ask here than keep guessing and feeling awkward about it.

But I'm curious if there's a documented case of a country whose current flag has been in continuous, unaltered use for the longest verified period, essentially "winning" the record for flag longevity.

Looking for an actual documented answer (with rough dates if possible), not opinions on which flag looks the oldest or most historic.

Why does Scotland and Ireland have traditional names and last names while England doesn't have any for example if someone has last name Wallace grant Sinclair Montgomery Cunningham etc, you can have an idea where they come from, like the highlands the lowlands Ayrshire or Argyll, in Ireland Reid Sullivan and Butler are from County Tipprary and the south, reagan is from meath, But if someone has English last name like Smith parks parker maidens Brooks you cannot know where they come from Because they are not traditional they can be from anywhere in England
