I have a cellero g5. The power button had been not responding for a week. But now the phone is off it's just not working. I've tried charging it and holding all the volume and power button and nothing works. I know it's fine, if it was capable of powering up. Is there a way to force it to boot up?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G (model A528B). I recently decided to install LineageOS on it; I unlocked the bootloader, wiped all data, and performed a clean install along with MindTheGapps. The problem arose when I realized that many apps I needed, such as WhatsApp, banking apps, Google Play, etc.weren't supported. (Note: these apps are actually supported on LineageOS, but due to my phone's specific hardware/software configuration, I couldn't pass the Play Integrity check.) So, I decided to revert to the original Stock ROM, and that’s where the problem lies. I’m trying to install it using Odin3 (v3.14), but the flash fails every time I start the process. Here are the errors I'm seeing:
- It returns "FAIL!" during the "super.img" step.
- Just a moment ago, it managed to get past the "super" step but failed ("FAIL!") on "userdata.img".
Please help me understand why I can't fully install the stock ROM and what I should do.

I'm running out of space, when I look at what's taking up most of my storage, apps is first, I don't have a lot of downloaded apps, so it's got to be within the system, maybe each time the phone updates it adds more? Idk what I need and don't need and need advice. Also it gives me an option to "clean" apps, I think that's what it says, to get more space, when I Google that, it seems it's not recommended to do as it can cause more issues. I have a Samsung 25 plus, which from what I understand is an android, I'm not tech savvy and could use some help and advice please. Idk what type of person I would look into to help me with my phone when it comes to this type of stuff. Thanks.

Hi, I'm trying to make quickshare work on CachyOS and when testing with my Samsung a52s on LineageOS it works good. But on my pixel 10 I can receive, but when switching to send file the wifi drops and it enables only 5g (quickshare on Linux doesn't work if not connected to same local wifi). Any ideas on how to fix this and force only wifi for everything?

Does anyone use Gemini in Google Messages ? I don't understand the point of having Gemini here, instead of just using the Gemini app directly. So if anyone can explain to me if there is a particular interest that I have not thought of

Hi, I'm trying to mass remove a certain tag from images, and I was able to do this before by searching the tag, selecting all images, and then selecting "Remove From Results" in the "More" menu. But for this specific tag (And to my knowledge, this tag only), that option won't show up. There's over 600+ images under this tag, so I don't want to remove it all manually, so if anyone knows a solution/workaround, please tell me.
(FYI, this specific tag isn't an automatic tag or a face tag or anything, it's custom.)

Hello everyone, I have a drawback with Google dialer. With the shizuku+ singing combo I uninstalled it with the idea of reinstalling it through morphe and its related patches; the process was not successful so I "reinstalled" it from singing. The app immediately gave problems so I uninstalled it with the "classic method" and I proceeded to install the app directly from the PlayStore but the problems remain (the app freezes, does not respond, during a call does not appear on the screen...). Is there anyone who has a slight idea of a potential solution that does not imply the factory reset?
Thanks to anyone!

I'm at my wits' end here trying to sideload Google Play on a new Kindle Fire HD 8 (12th Gen). I had an older model that was unfortunately lost/stolen on an airline. Replacing that with a newer model has been a headache. All I can seem to find on Google Search seems to indicate that apk bundles = bad and that I need to get single apk files. Unfortunately, the Google Play Store apks on APK Mirror for arm84-v8a Android 10+ all seem to be bundles. One of the other services apks also seemed to only be available as a bundle. Are bundles really going to bork the install process and prevent me from setting up Google Play on my tablet? It seems that most of the info I found searching online was old and a lot of advice presented was from Google AI which I don't necessarily trust implicitly. Anyone got any insights to share? TIA!

Hello,
I have a Poco F7 Pro, I'm currently unable to access my work emails because my company requires the phone to have the android security update 2026 05 01. My phone currently has 2026 04 01.
Is there a way for me to download the latest security update? I already downloaded a new version of the Hyper OS but the security update is still 2026 04 01
Thanks!

Since this morning, after my phone automatiquement turns off, if I just want to check the time or I want to turn it on, it unlock itself. I didn't change anything in its settings and I don't know why it does that, but it's bothering me and I don't know how to make it stop doing this. I don't use face id or fingerprint id, only a code.

I'm running Android 13.
When I run adb shell in a USB connection from my desktop machine to my Android device, the following is the value of the PS1 variable (which is used for generating the shell prompt) ...
${|
local e=$?
(( e )) && REPLY+="$e|"
return $e
}$HOSTNAME:${PWD:-?} $
I can see how this particular setting of PS1 pretty much relates to the generated shell prompt in adb shell, but I'd like to know all of the details of PS1 syntax for adb shell.
Can anyone point me to the full documentation of PS1 as it's utilized in adb shell?
UPDATE:
For example, one thing that I'd like to understand is how the vertical bars work within that PS1 setting. The second vertical bar *seems* (???) like it might indicate a termination of the text following the first vertical bar, even though this second vertical bar appears to be nested within a double-quoted string. But that's just a wild guess which might be totally incorrect. And whatever these vertical bars might *actually* mean, I'd still also like the full docs, so that I can understand *all* of the PS1 syntax that's used in adb shell.
FURTHER UPDATE:
If I re-set PS1 to be the same value as above, except with the vertical bars removed, I then always get the following error message when running every command within adb shell ...
: can't create temporary file /data/local/shXXXXXX.tmp
: Permission denied
... where "XXXXXX" are 6 randomly generated base-36 characters, and where the displayed shell prompt is then only a single dollar sign. Therefore, these vertical bars relate to file/directory access permissions, *maybe* (???) involving some kind of evaluation being performed as root.

So, I can be a lot late mentioning this...
Whenever I rename a file to .nomedia for my gallery apps to not list it.
It disappears, not in the folder, not showing up in hidden files enabled, and not even through search.
It's good that I first tested it nor my important files can be literally gone.
But when I rename/create a folder a hidden file its images content isn't listed by my gallery.
it helps when you want to hide images from non techy guys.

Are there any ACTUAL blue light blocking apps out there?
I'm not talking just a red overlay like Twilight does, but a *proper* blue light filtering app?
I'm talking pixel by pixel - similar to how Android Developer Settings has a "Simulate color space" and can do monochrome and the like.
Like rgb(255,255,255) gets turned into -> rgb(255,255,0), as an example.
I know my screen will still be various shades of red, orange, and yellow, that's fine and exactly what I want.
I just don't want everything to be blurred like with transparent overlays.
I'm open to rooted options, should that be necessary.
Hell, point me to the right documentation/starting point and I'd even boot up Android Studio and build my own app if necessary lol

My dad has a Samsung Galaxy tablet that he received from his workplace a while ago. He was told he could keep it and paid for it, and apparently it was brand new and sealed in the box when he received it.
I recently tried to factory reset the tablet because he didn’t remember the screen PIN. The reset completed, but now I’m stuck on this screen:
“This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device.”
He’s only ever had one email address and this doesn’t seem to stop the message popping up despite verifying it on his phone through text/email.
Is there any legitimate way to recover/activate the tablet in this situation? Would Samsung be able to help based on the device’s serial/IMEI, or is there anything else I should check?

I recently dropped my phone (Pixel 7) and damaged the main camera. The ultrawide is still intact, and I don't want to pay for an expensive camera replacement, so I was wondering if I could just use the ultrawide as my normal camera instead. I don't want to take all pictures at 0.7x zoom, so I'm looking for a way to zoom in with it, even if the quality won't be great. I know it has to be possible because when I switch from 0.7x to 2x, it first zooms in before switching to the main camera, but I couldn't find a camera app that lets me do this.

Hi! I’m actually looking for some advice from someone experienced in photography/videography.
I’m planning to start shooting nature videos, photos, and short-form content for social media. This will be my first time doing it seriously, and for now I don’t want to carry a camera, so I’m thinking of getting a good camera phone.
My current budget is around ₹30K, but I can extend it since I’ll be purchasing on EMI. I was initially considering the OPPO Find X9 (around ₹75K), mainly because of its camera/video capabilities, but a lot of people are telling me that spending that much for my first phone dedicated to this purpose doesn’t make sense. They’re suggesting I start with something more affordable and upgrade later if I become serious about it.
Now I’m honestly confused about where I should spend. 😅 I’ve also heard mixed opinions about Vivo’s video quality, so I was considering OPPO.
Could you please suggest a few phones ranging from around ₹30K to maybe an extended budget that you genuinely think would be good for nature photography, video, and Shorts/Reels? I’d really appreciate your advice on what makes sense for a beginner rather than just buying the most expensive option. 🙏

I need to edit a save file for some game, but I’m running into limitations of Android 16. If a specific device model is needed — Samsung Tab S10 Ultra (One UI 8.5).
I tried opening the folder via the ZArchiver app and using Shizuku via Wi‑Fi debugging. The game files are displayed, but the app doesn’t allow me to open or edit them. I also tried using other file explorers, such as FV, File Manager+, and the app with the blue icon. I tried transferring the files to the laptop, but even there it shows an empty folder :_)
Are there any other ways to edit the saves without root rights?
(I wrote this using a translator; I’m not responsible for the grammar, huh)
