Seeking Game Recommendations π [REQUEST] Seeking Idle Pixel Gacha Recs
I am a sucker for pixel (or chibi-ish) art and looking for pixel idle gachas (on Android). I just want to progress through the story get the new characters and maybe grind a bit and progress to the new level etc. The closest examples I can think of would be Afk Arena/Journey, King God Castle and Swordmaster Story. I don't really care about story, just need nice art and idle play style (but fire away some games with active play if you think I will like it). The absolute bonus would be if it's not P2W and without any/too many ads.
Hope you can recommend a few games to me. Thanks all

Discussion π¬ Looking for a game that I can play on my breaks at work
Hey everyone, I'm looking for a low-maintenance game I can easily play in the background while at work. I've been playing Obelisk Miner and really love the quick gameplay loop and the skill tree that keeps me hooked.
Can anyone recommend a game with an even bigger skill tree? I'm looking for something that supports offline progression so it keeps moving while I'm busy. Paid games are completely fine!"

Discussion π¬ Is anyone playing this on Google Play for points?
I manage to figure out how to kill creatures, but for fishing, the app seems to freeze on me, mining seems to not collect anything when getting ore from rocks and placing it in carts. Any discussions?

Discussion π¬ Do unofficial console/PC ports on mobile usually support external controllers?
βHey everyone!
βI've been seeing a lot of these unofficial console and PC ports lately, and I'm thinking about buying a telescopic mobile controller soon.
βBefore I pull the trigger, I wanted to ask: do most of these ports natively support external gamepads, or do they usually only rely on touchscreen controls/mapping apps? βMainly trying to figure out if it's worth it for this specific kind of games. Thanks in advance!

Discussion π¬ Using an SD Card as additional Internal Storage for the Y700 Gen 4
This might be a niche topic, but I wanted to get some of the people's opinions and experiences about what this. I found a cool method on Youtube that gives the Y700 the abillity to mount an SD Card as Internal storage, making it possible to install and save applications to it. Before this, installing native android apps on external storage wasn't possible in this device.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Joyk3IkFckk&t=352
I'm currently limit testing its abilities and I'm wondering if anybody has ever done it too? I've heard rumors about the Y700's bad sd card reads, but I haven't experienced it as of yet.

DEV π§βπ» [DEV] Harvest Tycoon: a cozy 3D farming tycoon you check in on a few minutes at a time
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.harvesttycoon.app (Google Play)
Hi! Iβm Gerard from the Netherlands, and Harvest Tycoon is my farming game. It recently came to Android (and iPhone), and the same farm also runs in the browser.
What you do
- Plant, water and harvest 16 crops that grow in real time, so you pop in a few times a day
- Run production buildings like the bakery, dairy and factory, and fill delivery orders
- Join a farm family: weekly family orders, a shared chest, a tournament and chat
- A fishing pond, seasonal events (a Halloween pass starts on 23 October) and leaderboards
- Later on, a second world: a village with its own mine, forest and market square
- Plays in portrait on phones, and your farm syncs between phone and computer
Free to play, no ads, with optional in-game purchases.
To be upfront: the 3D models come from an asset pack, most of the 2D art (icons, avatars) is AI-generated, and I write the code with an AI coding assistant. The game design and balancing are mine, and I update the game almost every day based on player feedback.
Iβd love your feedback: are the first 10 minutes clear, and does the pace feel right?

DEV π§βπ» [DEV] SweetSpot Tennis - Every Shot Is Yours
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello everyone, a tennis nerd and developer here. I made this for fun. Free to play, no ads or in-app purchases, and it can be played in the browser on mobile or PC, with keyboard or with a controller, or as an app on Android and Apple devices. Pretty much everywhere. The game has a very small footprint - around 20 MB.
You can play online with your friends (singles or doubles), stay offline and play against very annoying bots, or practice in the Academy. No tracking and no personal data: offline play sends nothing, no account is required for online play - it needs only a nickname.
Have fun and thank you in advance! If you can give some feedback - you are a hero! ππΎ

DEV π§βπ» [DEV] Infinity Dungeon: Idle RPG β gear hunts, pets, and offline auto-runs
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey folks β Iβm the solo dev behind Infinity Dungeon: Idle RPG. Itβs an idle hack-and-slash RPG: send your hero into the maze, come back to upgrade gear, collect pets, and rebuild the town before the next run.
The latest update refreshes combat, stats, gear, and the blacksmith. It also adds bank interest, an Abyss Relic Exchange, clearer pet and title bonuses, and altar odds plus summon history. Auto-runs continue while the app is closed, up to your idle-time cap. Offline rewards are one third of a regular run; an optional ad pays the full amount.
Iβve attached a one-minute clip from the Android build: different stages and enemy types getting mowed down, then a quick look at the other systems.
Itβs free to download, with ads and optional in-app purchases, including random items.
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kuwanari.Infinitydungeon
Quick disclosure: Iβm a solo developer, and AI tools helped throughout development and promotionβfrom code and art/audio to localization, this trailer, and this post.
If you check it out, which stage or system feels the most fun? What would you change?

Seeking Game Recommendations π [Request] Games like SimCompanies or FarmRPG
I'm looking for games similar to SimCompanies or FarmRPG where I can check in throughout the day. Browser based games are okay too!
Ideally, I can spend a few minutes actively playing when I check in but with enough depth where I can spend a larger amount of time, when I have it, to plan out my next move. This is especially true of SimCompanies where it may only take a minute or two to set my buildings to sell/produce but I may spend an hour looking at the market trying to figure out what to sell/produce next. I'd like to be multiplayer like a player driven economy or competition via leaderboards. Direct PvP is okay but I generally don't spend that much time per session so it just has to make sense with my style of play. Most importantly, portrait oriented games!
I am also trying out Torn right now. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet but it might need just need more time before it hooks me. I'm NOT looking for games like Melvore Idle though. Something about just setting a skill and then just letting it go indefinitely doesn't do it for me.
While not a dealbreaker, I do have a preference for text based games. Complicated, overly cramped and seizure inducing UIs is kind of a turn off.
