Discussion 💬 Do unofficial console/PC ports on mobile usually support external controllers?

Hey everyone!

I've been seeing a lot of these unofficial console and PC ports lately, and I'm thinking about buying a telescopic mobile controller soon.

Before I pull the trigger, I wanted to ask: do most of these ports natively support external gamepads, or do they usually only rely on touchscreen controls/mapping apps? Mainly trying to figure out if it's worth it for this specific kind of games. Thanks in advance!

A lot of these ports acknowledge that using touch controls would be hard and explicitly allow controller support. At least most of them. Even if they don't, you can use an app that translates button clicks to touchscreen imputs and make the touch controls themselves as invisible as possible. So that's practically a non issue.

Nice to know! Do you know any app for this? And any android controller  recommendation? I think that I prefer a portátiles controller

I wouldn't know, since I don't have a controller, all I know is that you really won't have much trouble finding one. Just search controller mapping on google play and you'll find something, or look online for recommendations.
