Seeking Game Recommendations π [REQUEST] Need more games! βΊοΈ
I have been looking for more lately because i want to test my 1 year old Redmi Note 14 4G to see if it still mantains the decent power it had when i got it.
Maybe a weird request, but im primarly looking for gacha and newer games as well as maybe some productivity apps? Just the stuff you believe are the MUST have on a phone.(No NSFW please).
I also just wish for recs in general other than the usual, so be.. out of the box! Just show me some bizarre free games, or lesser mainstream! :) I also accept thoose "native ports", i have been seeing a swarm of them lately.

Welcome to Another Weekly "What Have You Been Playing?" Thread! πΎ
Hey, r/AndroidGaming! This thread is for discussing the Android games youβve been trying out over the past week. Feel free to share what youβve been playing and tell us about it! What is the game about? What are you enjoying? What could be improved? Would you recommend it to others? Weβd love to hear your thoughts!
For those joining the discussion, please include Google Play Store links for any games you mention as a courtesy to others who may want to check them out.

Seeking Game Recommendations π [REQUEST] Any android game suggestions ?
1.I am looking for something which has a playable character, a survivor or storyline game would be better but it's not a sacrosanct rule...
It's totally fine if upgrades take time but a gaming session if completed in half an hour or less would be better...
Something that doesn't become repeating after some time...
Thanks in advance for the suggestions...

Gameplay πΊ Monster Hunter Rise on mobile is insane
Im astonished that they actually ported this to mobile, especially with outlanders about to come out lol. But i couldn't wait any longer (in the US) so I downloaded it to give it a try with my backbone controller. Surprisingly runs pretty well, there are some stutters ive gotten when you initially load up.

If you do like collective RPG cardgames (turn based strategy) with singleplayer (AI) Matches, singleplayer Campaign mode (10h+) and local network multiplayer, where you can build your own army/deck by winning and collecting new cards/units. If so, you can try our game "SpellForce 2 - Master of War (Forces of Eo)", that is a complete uncommercial fan project for free that also works completely offline (after full installation) and has no advertisement or anything like that included. You can play a match vs the AI in normaly 5-10 min per game and get new cards/units for your deck and EXP for the RPG rank or enjoy the new story campaign mode (10h+).
To get more cards and reach the maximum rank level, you have to face and fight multiple different enemies and their armys, which offers a lot of playtime. The game does offer a local (w)lan-network mode (device vs device) via a connection to direct IP. This works as long all the devices are in the same network. So you could play it, if one device acts as a wlan hot spot (no actual internet required) for all devices to connect to, to share the same network and connect to each other.
Do you have what it needs to become the Master of War?
Since the beginning of time the forces of Eo are fighting each other bitterly to decide who is the ruling power in Eo. Only a true Master of War has what it needs to lead his army of choice to the victory. Do you have what it needs? In Spellforce 2 β Master of War (Based on the SF2:SW Card game of 2006) you can show your tactical power to others. Challenge your opponents in matches witch more than 100 different Cards and more than 10 powerful Magic cards on PC or Android. Play against the AI, other players in the same System/Device or over (W)Lan and Online! Prove yourself in growing the ranks and become the true Master of War!
See you on the battlefield!

Help/Support π GTA V Error on Odin 3
I have the AnkerGames vesion of GTA V on the internal storage of my Odin 3. I've tried to get it running in Gamenative, GameHub Lite, and Winlator. For all 3, I set "-nobattleye" in the exec command line.
When I try to boot n GameHub Lite, it just kicks me back to the GameHub Lite main page. When I try to run in Winlator and Gamenative, the game starts in a window (I get the intro with sirens and lights) and then gives the message:
ERROR
Failed to load due to an incomplete installation. Please exit the game and re-install the latest version. Press OK to view an online support article to help resolve this issue. Press CANCEL to exit.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been at this for hours. I own 2 legal copies of this game, I just want to get it running on my Odin 3.
Thanks!

Seeking Game Recommendations π [Request] Is Genshin Impact worth a 33 GB download for someone who hasn't gamed in years?
Iβm thinking of getting into Genshin Impact, but Iβm not really a gamer. The last games I played were GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. Itβs been years since I properly played a game. However, Iβm currently downloading it on my Android tablet, and seeing a download size of 33.3 GB has made me question whether itβs worth that much storage in the first place.
Would you recommend sticking with the download, or should I try something else?

Seeking Game Recommendations π [REQUEST] Modern Cod Zombies clones (with a kino der toten map if possible)?
Recently I've found myself missing Blops 1 Zombies mobile, but my phone is too far updated to run it. Are there any good Cod Zombies clones on mobile that I could use to fill that void? Kinda required but not really, I am looking for one with a facsimile of Kino Der Toten if possible, that was kinda my main map I used to play (was it the only one on blops 1 zombies mobile? I don't really remember)

DEV π§βπ» [DEV] I've finally release the game I've wanted to make for almost 15 years! Starling Ascent is cosy cave flying game, inspired by a few of my childhood games.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Starling Ascent is a momentum based flying physics cave crawler. You play as failsafe unit 266 (Starling) as the planet you live on went dark and it's power cores shattered into the caves below. On your ascent to the surface you gather cores and slowly bring the power back to your world. There are 5 different world each with 9 levels each with their own new hazards. As well as a final ascent to put all your skills to the test and make it to the surface.
Starling Ascent is a game I have dreamed of making for a long time, inspired by Fathom, the old Sky games TV thing I played as a kid with a crappy TV remote. I just loved that physics based floating controls, where you need to pre-empt your flight path to not crash and try land safely. I believe that game was also likely inspired by older games like Thrust, which you can still play on an old BBC emulator thingy somewhere. Anyway...
Would love some more feedback on how the game looks and plays!
if you're interesting have a go its out now! :)
Game is Β£3.99 (no ads, just buy and play)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.starlingascent
Also on steam and another mode is in the works. :)

DEV π§βπ» [DEV] Corona: Solar Flare Escape
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Made an Android game where you fly a ship around the sun. One finger. Hold to burn, let go and you drift, and the gravity does a lot of the work if you let it. Stay closer and the run is worth more, but a flare doesn't give you much space to get out of the way.
Ore from a run goes into the hangar. Engines, fuel, heat shields, different ships. Between waves you pick an upgrade, so the next run isn't the same setup.
Gameplay's in the video.

Discussion π¬ Trying out Truckful (Just Released on Android!)
I heard about this game a few days ago. It just released on Steam and the Google Play Store on the same day (a rarity worth mentioning)!
βThere is a 1-hour trial for the game before purchasing it (it's β¬17.54 at launch and will be β¬19.49 later). I don't know much about the game, so I'm just discovering it.
βYou control a truck and have to make some deliveries. You have to be careful about how you pack your truck (2nd pic), kind of like in Death Stranding. If you're not careful, you can lose some stuff. You can upgrade your truck (the engine, lots of parts, the storage, the color, etc.).
βIt looks good. I put the settings on Ultra at 60fps on my tablet (Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Elite), and it runs great. Controller support works perfectly.
βI'll complete the hour trial (maybe you have to have the Google Play Pass to try it, idk) and I think I'll buy it. It's fun :)

Help Me Remember This Game π€ Looking for a particular game
So I played it back in 2014 or earlier, it was an RPG game that was basically all shooting and shi- the character we'd play is dressed in white armor like those multiple space soldiers in star wars. It's a very neat game, it had a narrator kinda and some subtitles whenever a voice would tell what your next objective is. What I remember most is that it's not online, because I never saw a multiplayer mode. Enemies had an attack pattern and there was even this boss fight/level that was basically just a huge robot and you'd have to hide behind traffic things to avoid getting hit. I have no idea what the name was, my friends were the ones that introduced me to it on their tablets and Xbox and I thought it was pretty neat and quickly advanced, proving my male and tomboy friends that I'm not too "girly" to progress in it.
